Rohr can't use same players...because he wills scout for eligible players and call up the best....

Who need know that keshi team selection was fishy....

I was so happy when buhari came on board knowing that he will be sacked soon....
Rohr is tactically deficient. Oliseh, Siasia , Amodu and Keshi are all better than him.

And, has he won even a plastic cup before huh Deal with that... grin

Lol no near Super Eagles management. Zuby still has LOTS of work to do.
Go back and see Nigeria vs Lesotho again and sincerely tell me how many passes the nigga missed then watch Nigeria U23 vs South Africa and tell me how many passes Zuby missed....may God help Zuby enter better club and all you haterz go carry gbese. Khaki nobi leather. Nonetheless, Ndidi is a good player but he was also lucky, while Zuby has not had so much luck. This happened to Osimhen and now Onyekuru but we know their talents. If Zuby moves to a better club na end of story ooo. Dont say I didnt tell you so, the nigga na midfield boss. He can play DM, CM and even attacking

We are talking player management and player invitation, not tactical ability or scouting. Many of our coaches will not be able to manage the ego of some of our players, which is why they resort to players that will be LOYAL to them - often times players that know they do not deserve a place in the team.
Even though, with all his excellent man management and superior talents at his disposal Rohr is still inferior to Legend Keshi. EOD

In the midst of all that, Rohr still has to surpass Keshi though. That's the lowest bar for him with the relatively better talents at his disposal.
It doesn't take a seer to spot an intelligent individual, brother. And , no , Keshi is not corrupt. It's a matter of preference and like I said a fit Zuby will start ahead of a fit Ndidi....my preference.

Stephen Okechukwu Keshi according to some of our blodas here is the grandfather of corruption, yet he took a half decent team to the nations cup and won it. He also qualified Nigeria for the world cup and gave France a run for their money in the second round, it took Matuidi taking Onazi out for them to defeat Nigeria...lol. The same corrupt Keshi qualified Togo for the world cup and what did the black men from Togo did? They let him off and hired a white man. And he achieved all these with dubious characters ?

Now, think about a certain franco-german who took a team adjudged one of the best in Africa but he could not go past the group stage, yet again failed at the nations cup.

Need I say more ? A certain character condemned Keshi as the most corrupt coach ever!! I have come to the realization that people hide behind different characters to attack and malign those they dont like.

It's simple. Let's be a little balanced, else you will end up being in the other extreme side.
List the current SE players, and those you think that should replace them. I bet you, you will not be able to replace up to 5 players.
In the past, we could do this easily.
You may have missed my point. I am saying that the current set of players Rohr is working with are some of best talents in Africa and even across the world to stretch it. We agree on that but I want us all to understand and agree that the success of this very set is not in anyway rested on the tactical abilities of Rohr. He inherited those players from our "corrupt" Nigerian coaches. Keshi , Siasia , Eguavon didnt have these sort of talents, when they coached the Eagles....you know ,like Pep struggling to win matches at the Champions League without his Barcelona special talents...lol. In essence, Rohr was simply lucky-in the right place at the right time. He is not a genius! However, I think he knows how to manage players attitudes and behaviors.

i am sorry to say this but you sound racist to me. southgate who is currently doing well with the english national team was he the one that discovered the likes of rashford, kane, sancho, sterling and co?

deschamp who won the last world cup with the french les blue was he the one that discovered griezman, pogba, kante, giroud, umtiti and co?

assembling a team for the senior national team is different from assembling one for youth teams. national team coaches have no time nurturing players but monitor them in their various teams and will only invite those whom the deem good enough for their project.

it is the sole responsibility of grassroot coaches and youth coaches to unearth raw talent who re transformed to better players by featuring them in youth teams. no right thinking head coach of any national team will comb the surburbs and ghettos to discover talents when he has riches to that regard doing very well in top leagues and teams in europe.

days are gone when senior national team coaches indulged on such archaic methods unless the country in question lack good players plying their trade in europe. this is the main reason why the nff established the u15 team where scouted unpolished young talents are assembled with the aim of graduating the set to the u17,u20,u23 and the senior team in the future.
Haha... You humor me with the racist suggestion. Wake up and smell the coffee. White people invented racism and they are still using it to hold you down and you are here yapping unknowns...lol. The French example is not a proper one because Deschamp and all those players are French. Thus, your instances are invalid. Rohr is not a Nigerian , never lived in Nigeria and dont bear our scar and you want to make him a hero with little effort...I understand if it were Westerhof or Bonfree Jo

No he didn't, but nothing is stopping our indigenous coaches from making it elsewhere. if they are really good they will get jobs elsewhere. I also mentioned Shuaibu. With the bad officiating generally and other factors, how does that even encourage any coach to work well?
Let's not forget to give credit where its due. The two time a Nigerian club won the prestigious African Champions League they were led by our indigenous coaches in the person of Khadiri Ikhana MON and Okey Emordi MON. Again , the root of corruption in Nigeria cant be traced to Nigerian coaches. They work in a broken system. The government are responsible for the decay

bros make we reason abeg, can you name coaches from the local scene who you deem better than rohr?

are you referring to the period we were made to believe by a certain coach that the likes of uchebo, reuben, oboabona, kwambe, oshaniwa, nwofor just to mention a few were better than:

imoh ezekiel who took the belgian league by storm then as a rookies in the colors of standard liege?

abdul ajagun who was doing very well in the colors of greek giants panathinakos?

taiye taiwo and haruna lookman who were ever present figures in dynamo kiev then?

obafemi martins who was scoring for fun in levante and continued with the same form in the mls?

otigba who was a young defender then playing regularly in dutch club heereveen?

sone aluko who was doing well in glasgow rangers and continued with the form when he joined championship side hull city?

ejide who was miles better than chigozie agbim?
So, Otigba , Ajagun , Imo etc were the players that were gonna win the world cup for Nigeria...come on, soul brother! The truth is that that era was the drought period. Dont sugarcoat anything. In reference to those players , where are they today? Their world class quality suddenly disappeared? Shouldn't we be criticizng Rohr for ignoring Onyekuru who was one of our hottest players in Europe ,while he paraded a spineless Simon. Why arent you up in arms screaming corruption ? Africans worship white people like God starting from the white Jesus in your catholic church...its deep brainwashing...lol..works like magic.

Those average players you listed up there werent gonna make any big difference and its ultimately a matter of preference. Haruna Lukman , Taye Taiwo and co were mere pretenders and we saw how they fizzled out with time. Every coach has his preferred tactics and players. If I were a coach Iwobi will be selling gala, Ndidi will sit for Zuby...my choice.

who fights to get their contract renewed? Except egunje dey involved. No be political appointment. your employers value you and that is determined by how they bargain with you, else you consider other offers. It's a job. Rohr would like to continue with Nigeria, but I don't think with him or any other foreign coach for that matter it will be a do or die affair.

Modified
His departure will spell doom. Because there is not guarantee we will get a better manager talk less of tactical coach. We can't even appoint a good assistant.. hiss
You subtly lobby to keep the post when you envision a bright future and you do this with your body language/non verbal cues. Rohr is not necessarily after money like some shortsighted and visionless African coaches who have no interest in living a legacy but want quick money to stuff their pockets. Unlike Africans who eat while the pot is still on the fire white people think about future. He want to make history as the white man who was the first coach to lead an African team to world cup glory....common, brother you are brighter than this. That man want to steal the sweat of our indigenous coaches.

every coach performs better when he is blessed with the best set of players. those your football enthusiast where were they when the super eagles was turned into a laughing stock after missing out on 2 afcons?

i will never discredit rohr because of sentimental and myopic minded personalities both from the media and our football circle. why won't they be mad at rohr when he didn't give agents room to accommodate their below par players plying their trade in obscure leagues and carpenters from the local scene.

bros make we leave matter abeg because we know how corrupt we are as a nation and propaganda is one of the tools the media use in rubbishing whom so ever they are paid to destroy.

i would have been the first to castigate rohr if he hasnt achieved anything since he took over the coaching job of the super eagles but will never go against a man who have rekindled my love for the super eagles. he is not the best but those projected by the media and fans to take over from him are no where close to him tactically.
Dont pretend like you dont know Nigeria went through a period of drought when players who ply their trade in some of the worst leagues in Europe were the best we could offer. Meanwhile, these same players Rohr parade today were discovered and nurtured by the same allegedly corrupt Nigeria's coaches....a bit contradictory, init.

Now , I am not claiming there are not corruption in Nigerian football but that word get thrown around very carelessly. And , its often not always true. Corruption thrive in Nigeria because the system supports it. So, cut these indigenous coaches someslack.

Ultimately, we have coaches that are far more tactically superior to Rohr.

"I’m ready to discuss as I have other federations who want me but I tell them that my priority is to discuss with the NFF.

"But after January 1, I'll be free to sign where I want. So I think the next step is to wait to see what NFF is doing."
Spare me the buullshit Rohr. You will be a ffool if you dont fight to have your contract renewed. This is simple, Nigeria is blessed with abundant talents that can make you write your name in gold..These current set of talented players we are spoilt with have what it takes to lift the world cup and you know this Rohr. It will be your lost if you leave. Secondly, no European country want you and when it comes to Africa how many countries can boast of the same quality of players Nigeria currently parades. Bottom line, you need Nigeria more than we need you...tactically deficient franco-german! Your departure will be a blessing to Nigeria sef

Osimhen didn't deserve to be called as at that time he struggled in the Bundesliga. His case is not different from Awoniyi who is also struggling in the same league but nobody thinks he's good enough. How then was Osimhen good enough as at that time?

You can't still compare Osimhen with Rashid Yekini except he starts scoring like him. He is still far away.
Osimhen call to be included in the team was based on the premises of his status as a special talent not because he was a regular/average striker with potentials. We maintained from the onset he was a special talent like Nacho and Nwakali were once. Awoniyi never belonged to that class and you can see it once more by his shoddy display against SA.
