Nyamuri:He's made amends and said NIGERIANS WILL DECIDE. Glad he saw his own folly. |
bornolowu:Oga, there are a million ways to create smoke without fire. Only an illiterate says there cant be smoke without fire to me. |
surgical:And he wired the money into your account after which you paid it to the intended beneficiaries, right? Or dele momodu told you so? Y'all talk too much crap. |
clarocuzioo:From *we* to Nigerians. Glad you have finally given yourself some sense. Now you know, Nigerians haven't decided anywhere that presidency will remain in the North. You allowed your emotions overrun your senses and made a spectacle of yourself. Think before you talk next time. Bye. |
QuotaSystem:Ha. I tire for the guy. Make I continue dey sip my drink in peace mbok. |
0monnak0da:They were suggestions. Bye. |
0monnak0da:Kai. Read my post again bros. Your blood dey hot. I said you should make the topic a query. That might make it slightly more attractive. And if you could replace the Yorubas in the title with South West, it would also make it look less tribal, hence more fp worthy. ![]() |
OP, remove the slight shades against the any tribe in your op (eg Igbos instead of Eboes) and change the topic to look like a query (like *did pdp really zone its ticket to the SW in 99?). Let's see if we can give it more coverage. |
clarocuzioo:Who is we? If we* were the deciders, Jonathan would have been reelected or Atiku would have been the president today. |
Kai. Make una leave Sanwo alone o!! ![]() Maybe he's a nairalander. ![]() |
clarocuzioo:Who is the *we* that have *decided*? Didnt know you people have been the ones deciding who becomes the president in Nigeria. I'm in shock! |
Adopting Yoruba model Further checks by our correspondents however revealed that, while some of the Igbo leaders are insisting on fielding a common candidate for the top job, others are of the opinion that the race should adopt the 1999 Yoruba model, in which the major political parties: the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Alliance for Democracy (AD) fielded Yoruba men: Chief Olusegun Obasanjo (PDP) and Chief OLu Falae (AD).This is nonsense. In 1999, parties were just being formed and had yet to take roots in regions. It was their first time to test the waters back then. After the election, it became clear which regions were leaning towards what parties. The South West became predominantly opposition base while pdp prevailed in other zones. Now, to the south East. They've never hidden their affection and loyalty to pdp. Even when the MOST RESPECTED AND POPULAR SOUTH EATERNER IN RECORDED HISTORY, ran against a pdp ticket, he was ditched by his people and didnt even win his own state (I stand to be corrected)!! Nowhere else has pdp seen as much support as they have in the East. Since 99, the party has held the zone on lockdown. The OPPOSITION HAS INTERRUPTED GOVERNORSHIP COLOURATION IN THAT ZONE FOR ONLY EIGHT YEARS OUT OF TWENTY!! Nowhereelse in the country do you find this trend! The South East has paid their dues in sweat, blood and financial resources in PDP more than ANY OTHER ZONE in the country. It is time the party rewarded them. That shouldnt be too hard to do. Edit. Now it's been confirmed the party didnt even zone their ticket to the South West as folks have been claiming. It rather zoned it to THE SOUTH. Elder Ekweme even took a shot at the ticket but lost to Baba. So, in essense, the basis of the argument of this group is fundamentally flawed and therefore they have NO LEGITIMATE CLAIMS HERE. |
Mehn, these guys are animals without souls!! Hurts me so badly seeing the damages they've caused this country while they keep on as though they've done a absolutely nothing wrong. Imagine that one, after pocketing $ 2 bill, saying he cant honour an invitation because he has cardiac problem. This has become their regular MO. Once you get a summon, feign illness or invoke religion and Bob's your uncle!! May you perish from that heart condition. Bloody criminals. Look at the number of poor and downtrodden people in this country, in addition to the countless number of unemployed youths just looking for a meager 100k job but cant find any, yet these beasts steal left right top to bottom without a conscience. God punish una. ![]() |
All this hullabaloo over someone who HAS NOT TOLD ANYONE HE IS CONTESTING. ![]() |

Vulcanheph:This cracked me up so bad I had a headache. ![]() I love this forum! ![]() |
Someone said he testified in hair crimes tribunal. ![]()

Yeah, time to invoke God and whip up religious sentiments. I just dislike people who do this. Defend yourself and leave God or religion alone mr man. |

Chubhie:It's one thing being the Capomandamento and another thing being the Capobastone. Go figure. ![]() |
List is far from complete. |
helinues:I dont even think he would contest. Just might be serving as a decoy. You know, once you make any attempt or show interest in running for an elective position in this country that is when you get to hear stories even about your ancestors! They'd splash so much dirt on you all to demarket you. Maybe Tinubu might be taking the heat for a candidate that is yet to be revealed. Who knows. Personally, my bet is with Osinbajo. I have a feeling dude would do well economically and bring fresh minds with novel ideas on board. Only problem I fear we might have with him is the military. He needs to start making alot of friends there asap. |
helinues:Lol. The op is probably an atiku supporter, and so are majority of those condemning dele (with exception of you of course). I'm just saying, as much as pdp supporters frown at the conducts of dele, so should they Atiku because both men are guilty of the same crime. Since 1999, there hasnt been politicians in the country as consistent as Tinubu and Buhari. These ones are the only two constants I know. Others mostly drift with the wind. I hope Tinubu doesnt fall for the antics of this two bit fat man sha. |
Rednaxelot:Nigerian politics not just Bayelsa. APC should share theirs too jor. ![]() |
helinues:In all honesty, what's the difference between what dele is doing and what Atiku had done? Isnt it hypocritical supporting Atiku yet condemning dele? Not a fan of either men though. |
DeriNwamamatene:You no well. ![]()
|
DeriNwamamatene:Oga, we dash una! Let him remain in pdp. You should be happy pdp isnt losing a governor. Or am I missing something here? ![]() |
monsterlobster:This always cracks me up. ![]() Whoever took that picture did this man a world of disservice. |
Source isn't credible. So I'd hold my tongue/fingers. That said, Buhari should be wary of this man Ortom. His frequent trips to Abuja these days is worrisome. Seen him thrice in the last two months. The idiot should be given no place in APC. That would be the greatest mistake Buhari would ever make. He should remain in pdp. I'm sure he now sees what lies ahead in 2023 with Jev and wants an easy way out. E no go work. |
Ewedegubbler:I am disgusted sharing a country with your breed of humans. Look what hate and bigotry has done to you guys. What a pity. |
emmykk:South West is producing the next president. You can bookmark this. |
