ishiamu:He has a right to his opinion just as you have yours. He doesn't have to say the things you like to hear just as you don't say things he likes to hear. When you accept that fact, life would be a lot simpler for you. @ post: #ItsVanguardAgain! ![]() Well, Kanu can't "reject" the request, he can only "object" to it. It is the prerogative of the court whether or not to grant the prayer and the last time I checked, Kanu isn't a court. These journalists sef. |
kodded:I am not a criminal and Buhari certainly didn't say everyone is a criminal. Lend yourself a brain no matter its state of decomposition and try to make sense of the world around you. Have a nice day. |
Ebukaobi:The fact he said so isn't even my problem, the problem is the people who liked the post. These guys are so damn emotional about everything and would file behind every remark aimed at insulting the president or Muslims generally. I've learnt to ignore their baseline foolishness. Fact remains most of those tweeting on that hashtag are PDP supporters and do so not because of the statement itself but because of the person who made it. They twisted the original statement to suit their warped mindsets and made a feast out of it. Imagine the same people agreeing with Kanu that Jesus is an idol!! Imagine an APC stalwart made that statement!! What else can't one expect of these guys?? |
Good for them. At least, they'd now have a figure who speaks for them. Better than having no one at all. That said, the Igbo politician I respect the most is Ken Nnamani- I have this strong feeling he's an honest man just like Baba and perhaps Ribadu. That man looked Obj in the face and asked him to "go to hell" (metaphorically). Now he's been forced to quit partisan politics. Too bad. |
Does the NLC still exist?? To me, they aren't any different from NANS. I wonder if their leaders have heard about BREKETE FAMILY TV. Just leant about it myself about two weeks ago, watched it at my sister's and the first thing that came to my mind was- if I were a president, I'd employ someone who's exclusive job would be watching the programs on that channel and giving me feedback! A lot of nasty stuffs are going on out the, I mean, horrible things the Nigerian workers go through in the hands of their employees. From most accounts given by victims who came to their studio to narrate their ordeals, the NLC simply take their complaints and NEVER take any actions against offenders. Just a shame. |
The impunity of these young guys in the military is just appalling. Other day I went clubbing with a friend and 5 of them who were just about graduating from the NDA. Those guys turned the club upside down simply because some dude politely told one of them to leave a girl he brought to the club alone. I couldn't even make them behave themselves, felt so embarrassed and it was the last time I ever went out with them. Hope this dude gets justice. This incidences happen all too often and it is high time the military hierarchy made an example of some of their boys to serve as deterrent to others. Ps: There is no Opoko Local Govt in Benue state- it must be. Okpokwu they wanted to write. |
Lalasticlala, Mynd44, please confirm the source and do the neeful. Thanks. |
Jonathan was unfit to govern a Local Government Area, let alone a country. Jonathan didn't lose the election because he isn't from the North, no. He lost because he was a perpetual failure both in character and performance. He redefined what it meant to be a weak leader. He embraced the oddest of people and loathed anyone with a touch of moral rectitude who dared to point him in the right direction. He surrounded himself with all the ingredients for a guaranteed flop. Regardless, the election is done and dusted and I find it somewhat incomprehensible why. Fayose is coming up with this now; I mean, if he knew all along PDP erred in fielding Jonathan, why did he make himself the arrowhead of the personal attacks on Buhari in the run-up to the general elections?? Is he trying to warm himself up to the presidency?? Is Aluko's threat to expose more behind this latest overtures especially this coming after visiting two APC governors?? Only time will tell, and when that time comes, I hope those miscreants who've sworn on the remains of their forefathers to sing Fayose's praises to the end of time feel humble enough to acknowledge and applaud his utterances. I hope when that time comes, he doesn't become "a Yoruba man" to those people... |
dearpreye:Lol. Well, I congratulated you and Barca and you acknowledged my message. ![]() We all thought we were going into another round of polls, but the judges made their call and we have to respect it regardless of how disappointing it might have been. Anyway, looking beyond the forum. Too many overly emotional and unintelligent folks crowding the place, best at nothing but needless insults. Thought I could use a beer and some mature mind to argue politics with. Ride seems to be consuming too much juice- came to see my mech. Seems my cat converter and O2 sensor is faulty from the scan results. Do have a wonderful weekend ahead. |
yaki84:If I called you a fool, all I'd get is a ban. Go back to that thread and read my comment. It was even more critical than this. You think I'm like most of you PDP supporters who would NEVER see anything wrong with what the party or her supporters do?? Get a brain and get a life. |
sonOfLucifer:Lol. No wahala. I wan run enter Apo. E be like my Cat Converter (indomie) don disintegrate. Make dem go remove am. Holla later. |
Orikinla:Came across a thread earlier attempting to give reasons for Africa's backwardness with pictures of presidents supposedly sleeping in public. I don't think that really cuts the deal- the reason Africa is backward is for people like this op who are the stunchest supporters of the sleaziest regimes in the continent. Did he even pause for a moment to consider the source of the funds we are talking about?? Lives were lost for reason of that fraud and more lives are still being lost, but as long as those whom you support are the arrowheads behind the theft, they should simply be left alone. So unfortunate having such people as fellow countrymen. Dearpreye, are you currently in Abj?? We could anchor someplace later, share a drink or two and discuss politics. |
What you'd NEVER find among these gatherings are the children or close relatives of the politicians for whom they are demonstrating these acts of savagery and barbarism. |
Lmao!! ![]() He's gradually withdrawing from the far left and drifting towards the center. Very soon, he would arrive at far right and complete what I'd like to call The Political Cycle of FFK!! Trust me, those guys who have been looking up to him as their hero since Baba was sworn in with his scathing criticism borne out of nothing but sheer frustration at the loss of his free meal tickets would start observing him with some dash of cynicism. ![]() FFK, ride on! ![]() |
I thought I was coming to read some very interesting and enlightening piece only to see this mass of crap. I thought I was going to read how public officials exploit the cracks in our financial systems to fleece the country. I thought I was going to read about some novel efforts she made to eliminate those loopholes. Jeez, it this all the "celebrated" financial Einstein can come up with?? I really am doubting this is coming from NOI- I mean, The NOI! So damn disappointed to say the least. Very useless thread. I won't be surprised if NOI comes up to deny she authored this piece tomorrow. Even the source is suspect. |
Fayose is beginning to look for an apiam way since he knows the game is up. Finally the uncouth and garrulous thug has stopped running his gutter mouth. I'm sure someone must have told him to remember he'd lose his immunity a year before the expiration of Baba's first term. 12 months is enough for the police and EFCC to deal ruthlessly with him for all his misdeeds. |
Rossikk:EOD. |
martineinstein:Seen. This happens everywhere. In some cases, fuel tankers (which is deadliest), in this case, booze. Nevertheless, it is too bad Nigerians keep displaying this level of barbarism for the whole world to see. It is such a shame- profiting from someone else's misery. Smh. |
Too bad. Effect of poverty combined with illiteracy. Na beer dem no fit buy?? Smh. |
EasternLion:They attempted to but the cockroaches were prevented from advancing. ![]() Brb. I dey drive. |
dustmalik:Lie. This is very true. Buhari said this. I was there live and dilect. ![]() |
Lmao. You go fear!! Lalasticlala, fp pleeeaaase!! ![]() |
EasternLion:E dey pain am like open wound. ![]() You aint seen nuffin yet. I'd comment on any thread I please, too bad you can't do anything about it. The illiterate scoundrels were turned back and that is a fact. Deal with it. ![]() Oya, tell me more about Fulanis. ![]() |
zendy:If they rejected Ojukwu at the polls, how much more some group of jobless touts?? ![]() See scope. ![]() |
Forwetinnah:Thebreakingtimes... Shame no dey catch una?? ![]() ![]() ![]() Well, still on still, Metuh is a mad Goat and would be chained continuously and there is nothing you or thebreakingbrains can do about it. Bye. |
