When you see such threads, all you do is call the attention of the mods and have them taken down and the OPs sanctioned.

Most of the worst atrocities being committed against humanity in the world today are as a result of religious and ethnic intolerance. We must all join hands together to douse the flame and not pour fuel into it.

I can't remember in all the years I've spent on earth so far, anywhere it was seen something positive came out of hatred. Matter of fact, the essence of humanity that makes it unique to all other forms of civilisation are love, accommodation, charity and community. Take these away and we are no better than chimps roaming in the jungle.

Make una take am easy. This does no one no good.

Shut up. They are simply using present day facts to project what will happen in the future if certain conditions occur. Disprove them with counter facts if you disagree. Nobody is making fun of religion of peace.
Looking at your profile, I'm not for a moment surprised you support things like this. It is very typical of you lot. You imagine every single thing in life revolves around tribe and religion. You imagine hating and stumping another man is the best way to getting everything you desire in life including some miserable dream of a useless country. Even within your own tribe, all you do is hate one another, as you consider some from a articular state superior to others.

Shame on you lot.

Okay, the guy is a RAW talent, better than any Nigerian artist I've ever seen. But they lied in one of the pics. There's no chance in hell that pic with those boys playing in the river wasn't taken with a good Nikon camera.

That's the only fake amongst them I think.

Omenka good morning. There are dozens of threads opened by muslims on this forum attacking Christ or Christianity. Hate begets hate. That's what I've come to know about Nairaland.
Can you show me one out of the dozens of such threads??

What you people are doing is totally wrong and distasteful. What nonsense is this?? Are you people more Christian than those pastors on the forum?? Why do we hardly see such hate threads on the religion board? Why politics?? Where or when did our pastors or preachers ever admonish hatred??

What you people display bear no semblance to the doctrine of Christianity myself and many other Christians out there were brought up to embrace.

Haba. How do you people function daily bearing such mass of hatred in your hearts??

This is just utterly disgusting.

Politics › Re: UNIPORT Lecturers Opt-out Of Rivers Re-run Election Over Wike’s Warning by omenka(m): 6:58am On Mar 08, 2016
Those yoots aren't gonna see anything wrong with this but when shiit hits the fan they'd be all over the place howling and wailing like fat kids whose mothers had tittties yanked out of their hungry mouths.

Wike was, is and will always be an unrepentant thug and an "enforcer". He's simply doing what he's best at doing. These same scenario played out in an "uglier" manner during the guber election and the Supreme court put a seal of approval on it with their most distasteful judgement.

The security forces should be on the alert to avert any breakdown in law and order. The people of Rivers state must not be muscled into voting any particular candidates. Be they APC or PDP, a fair and free contest is all we demand in Rivers. Let the best men win.

I'm ashamed of you for saying that the law on religious practices is for the both religions. Do you think the Muslims will stop using speakers in their mosques? But the Christians will be forced not to use it. Do you think the Muslims will not do tefsir beyond 8 o'clock during Ramadan? But the Christians will be forced to close before 8 o'clock. For you to know that the Muslims in kaduna will not obey the laws and they will go Scot free, the state government made a law that they should not pray on express on Fridays they did not obey and nothing is done. Beggars were asked to leave the streets, they did not obey and nothing is done. The same thing will by the time those demonic laws come to lime light. To think of it, what are the reasons for those laws? Maybe you will say for security reasons. What about beer parlors, clubs and hotels where fight can easily breakout?
You shouldn't be ashamed of me but be ashamed of yourself for calling yourself a christian when all you do is promote everything the Bible stands against. Rid yourself of your hatred for others before it consumes you. If the church you attend and their doctrine is responsible for your character, change it, go someplace else.

Good night.

Lol. Thanks. Sometimes, it's necessary.
Thanks for the info. This is the kind of stuff that gives one the means to form an informed opinion about an event, and not the overly emotional tantrums from bigots that populate the forum.

I think with this, the protest against the planned demolition has very good merit and it would be very irresponsible of the government not to review their decision. After all (from your info) it is not an illegal settlement/community.

El Rufai has to wield his powers with moderation.

That one is their business, I've never really cared much for naija kind of music these days, the older generation were better singers, there are still a few good ones though.
That is why I miss Paul Play so badly. Guy's got class and his songs always soothe my heart. Same goes to Dare Art Alade and Asa. Banky used to impress me but it appears he eventually joined the band wagon. Dunkan Mighty sometimes makes sense.

These days, I'm kinda feeling that Brymo dude- so damn original.

The latest Tu Baba's joint ft Phyno (Coded Tinz) isn't bad as well. Its got all that "real TuFace" juice in it.

Someday, our music industry will start getting it right, but as it stands now, junk is what we mostly get.

Most people tweeting #ElrufaiDestroysKaduna are not from Kaduna.... why are these people senseless like this, crying more than the bereaved
That is just the truth. Most of those fools have never been to Kd their entire lives, but would make the vilest comments because of their hatred for another man's party and religion. Even the new laws for religious activities cover both major faiths but some people are bent on making it look as though Christians were specifically targeted.

I just find these guys so irritating.

As far as I could remember, I've never attended a Church where hatred is promoted or encouraged. But the so called "Christians" I meet on social media in Nigeria, especially those in Nairaland politics section, make me wonder what manner of christianity they are practising.

You are right though, I just like ife wa gbo no and I realise any song of hers I like is a collabo, she does have a nice voice(you gotta admit) and given the we don't have much female artitstes with the 'it' factor, she's overhyped

I actually prefer Seyi Shay to Tiwa.
Someone with a good voice doesn't need an auto-tuner. Tiwa uses it every damn time she sings. She's plastic in all ramifications.

You are wrong by saying there's no proof that they are fetching the water. Take a look at the first pic...need I say more? Or u think they arranged those dispenser-bottles to have a meeting with them? This is Nigeria where people make money at the expense of others.
If you were to take them to court, is that the evidence you'd nail them with?? Who says I didn't see the first pic?? Do I look blind to you?? That I was seen standing beside a toilet doesn't necessarily mean I am about to or just took a dump.

You are over stretching your inference. There's no proof from the pics they are actually fetching from the stream.

If indeed they are fetching from the source as you claim, then it most certainly isn't meant for direct human consumption as it wouldn't take some magnifying lens to see the debris and scum in the water. Neither would it take some special equipment to detect the smell.

And if the water is to be purified before consumption, wouldn't it be wiser economically using very big tanks to convey the bulk water to the treatment plant??

Correct me if I'm wrong.
