Haa!! MS-13. Watched a documentary about them on National Geographic the other time (think five years ago). Said to be deadlier than Creeps and Bloods, and even the Arian Brotherhood with which they are in constant battle.

I wouldn't doubt anything said about them. cheesy They are the ISIS of the West.

PassingShot:
In a sane society, it is the citizens that will be on the street demanding that Dasuki should not be protected by the law of the land even as the government tries to work with the laws. But Nigeria is a funny country where those who have been made victims of impunity and oppression are the ones supporting their oppressors.

Do corruption, impunity, treason and bad governance have a religion, party or ethnicity?

Why are the Fulanis/Hausas not crying of witch hunting even though PMB, Director of DSS and EFCC chairman are all of northern extraction? I think there is something genetically wrong with these people sympathizing with Dasuki or any other corrupt person.
The other day, my aunt (an Igbo woman) and I engaged in a bitter argument. She said nothing has been happening in the country since Baba took over besides witch-hunting "southerners" in the name of anti corruption crusade. When I mentioned the names of Dasuki and others from the North, she said theirs were just "eye service". Then I asked her what difference there has been in the way the so called southerners have been treated compared to their northern counterparts- that people from both regions indicted have spent time in DSS and EFCC custody- and her reply was "please forget that thing".

I was so angry but didn't let it show. Just changed topic to talk about my wife to be. angry

I would personally man the gate with Koboko in hand to flog any Atiku that attempts to "Tactically Manoeuvre" their way into the fortress of the Progressives.

Been very laid back lately. Some miscreants have succeeded in ruining my appetite to engage folks here. Will always show up when there's a "juicy" thread around the corner though.

Vote wiselyoo am not an idoma but the fact remain mark is d only political figure that entire tiv are afraid of, n besides the new guy is just too small to attract the fame mark generate!
Which Tiv people are afraid of Mark?? Even if they are, what has their fear brought the people of Zone C of which I'm from?? There a mutual mistrust and hatred between Mark and the Tivs, that is why he'd hardly invited to any major event taking place in Benue. The Ter Tarkaa was buried just a couple of days ago and he wasn't even
there- I guess he is even afraid of Akume.

Sixteen long years and there's been no federal presence attracted to the zone since Mark held sway besides one glorified secondary school called University of Medicine established last year (which has been closed by NUC), and a handful of jobs for Idomas in NSCDC, NIS, NCS, etc when his stooge Aba Moro held sway! Even with that, he used his wife and Aba Moro to swindle unemployed Nigerians!! What could be more cruel than that??

Even Otukpo which is the supposed HQ of Zone C is one undeveloped village, let alone Oju, Okpokwu, Ogbadibo, Obi, etc.

Now election is calling and they want to start distributing rice and what not. These politicians make me sick to my stomach honestly!! Don't they have any shame at all?? Haba.

We don't need someone famous, we need someone who can deliver some goodies to the electorates.

“As we speak, they have blocked Otukpa, Owukpa roads. The work is expected to start today, December 1 and reach completion before Christmas. We wonder where they have been,” the source said.

The rice crested with Mark’s picture and inscriptions that read, “Vote back senator Mark. If we retain him, the nation will retain us,” were apparently reserved after the general elections.

Already, Mark’s campaign team has been busy distributing the food items to residents of Otukpo.

Politicians! Is there anything called shame in their dictionary? Why now?

Benue people, please wise up. Do not sell your future for Rice and tin Tomatoes.
I am from his Senatorial zone and I can tell you that man is a complete disaster!! But my people hardly learn- poverty has robbed them of their ability to think logically. Such a pity.

Peace is not absence of war, but presence of justice and Fairplay.
Justice and fairplay begin with oneself. You cannot keep blaming anyone but yourself for your problems and imagine that would bring justice and fairplay. It would be totally counterproductive. And you get justice by lobbying and constructive arguments and not via threats, coercion and belligerent posturing.

You mean Aribisala is placing the problems of Biafra at the doorstep of Buharihuh

This man should just admit it publicly that he hates Buhari...simple as ABC

He said Igbos has been neglected over the years, and they have been given second class treatment.....what has that got to do with Buharihuh

This new Biafra agitation is pure politics....no more, no less

Would Buhari take the blame of Theodore Orji, a governor who rape his state to penury, yet, they voted him in as a senator...Ekweremadu has been in thesenate since 2003, they should ask him what he has done in his capacity to ameliorate the suffering of his peoplehuh

If I don't even knw of other ministries, I know of ministry of Aviation as am a staff of aviation...under Stella Oduah, the aviation in Nigeria witnessed the highest recruitment of Igbos into all the 5 aviation Agencies...1,500 Igbos got recruited to FAAN, 500 to NAMA, over 750 to NCAA...likewise NiMET and AIBP...did other ethnic groups shouted publiclyhuh....not even minding the fact that ordinary WAEC holders were given level 12 and above which negate civil service rules

The Igbos maximised their opportunity and used it, but nobody shouted Biafra then...now that they think they don't have that numerical strength to get what they want again, they are crying marginalisation...its just sickening to me.
It is really sickening my brother.

Inconsequential ministerial positions

SUPERBOMBER:
Just observe boko haram, they started by shooting christians and blasting churches and when that did not make christians rise up in arms against muslims, they shifted ground and began to shoot muslims and blast mosques. The first time a bomb was bombed in Kano could have started a religious war. The muslims were already marching to sabon gari to wipe out the christians if not that one of the shooters was caught and he was clearly a muslim.

The north is of particular concern here because they keep on having so many children they have no plans for. The north has a vast expendable army of illiterate almajiris littering the region. These are the same jobless youths that are waiting for the slightest opportunity like a cartoon in Denmark to descend on Christians.

As for this IPOB issue, they likely will go ahead with the protest in Lagos and it is up to the Yorubas to either tactfully ignore them or attack them which will lead to massive carnage.

I only pray the CIA have not already positioned the guys that would shoot and kill some protesters and those that would rush to attack them and other Igbos in Lagos. I tell you the end of Nigeria can start in Lagos.
You understand perfectly their modus operandi!!

That was what I said in the other thread that made people almost rip my spleen open. I was asking what made people so sure those who've died in the protests so far were killed by bullets from the Nigerian security operatives.

There is simply no length these guys (CIA) can't go. Nigerians need to wake up honestly.

I voted Baba for one thing- to exorcise the demon of corruption that has been plaguing the system since time immemorial and he's been doing a fantastic job of that!!

Fix corruption and 80% of our problems as a nation would be solved IMO.

So, on a scale of 1-10, I'd give Baba 7. When I start seeing people in jail, the count would go up.

SUPERBOMBER:
One thing you don't know about the CIA is that they study the history of a place very well and perfectly draw their plans to fit into the happenings of where they intend to operate.

They know the history of Nigeri and how many Igbos have been killed and they know many Igbos are still very bitter about the civil war.

They are riding on that bitterness and the hate between Igbos & Yorubas to work using Nnamdi Kanu. I bet you they are very surprised that the protests have not turned violent yet. Nigeria can end from the Lagos protests, just imagine Igbos and Yorubas fighting and killing all over Lagos. This would spill over into other states and before you know what is happening, the end comes with a lot of blood and destruction everywhere.

Another card they might play is to kill Nnamdi Kanu in DSS custody as a bait for uncontrolled violence.

Omenka
You have said it all brother. Modath has some hunch as regards why the CIA/US would favour and actively but covertly work towards a balkanised Nigeria. I don't doubt her a bit- it is all about perpetual subjugation.

It is up to us whether or not to make their plans come to fruition. Is is difficult for the CIA not to have their way in a country as regards regime change or civil war given the resources they've got at their disposal. That said, our problem is compounded by the population of idle, illiterate and ignorant Nigerians we have in our midst- they are willing tools in the hands of anyone who could strike a good financial bargain with them for they hardly look at the broader scope and implication of their actions provided they can derive immediate reward from them.

I'm sure most of those people don't even know any body like CIA exists. Sometimes I curse the day our leaders chose not to make education our topmost priority. angry

Watch the sore losers and repugnant lunatics hail this as another giant stride from the rogue. Were this coming from APC, we are as sure as hell what they would have said- it doesn't matter if it's pics of the president or any of his ministers performing official duties.

From eating in a buka to buying pepper in the market, to stealing the role of FRSC officials, to playing ludo, these are but all Fayose has done since taking over the reigns of leadership in Ekiti. The most surprising part of this is that he has no shame whatsoever- despite his abysmal performance as a governor, he still has the presence of heart to call the president an underachiever! I wonder when the people of Ekiti would start demanding what he's been doing with their state resources. Are they under a spell or something??

At this rate, Very soon, we'd see pics of the thug doing the damn thing in his bedroom- it's just a matter of time.

Baba has got nearly three and half years to prove his mettle, Jonathan was given nearly six and failed WOEFULY, PDP sixteen and they didn't fare better.

Fayose and FFK can Wail their lives to hades, and I couldn't care less. Those whom Baba promised #Change are firmly behind him every step of the way- strangely, those who opposed his ascension to the presidency and delivery of #Change are those demanding it the most today!! How ironic.

Boko Haram is still a legacy of GEJ. In fact, everything that is currently wrong with Nigeria has GEJ written all over it. PMB is on a mission to solve the multitude of the problems left behind by the Clueless One and he will succeed even though it won't be easy.

Oya, children of hate and anger, swoop on me as usual for saying the bitter truth cheesy grin
Have been bidding my time waiting for that propitious time to take the wind out some airheads on this forum. My pound of flesh I will definitely get. smiley

One thing is for sure in all these- had Jonathan won the election, what we are witnessing today economically and otherwise- which is no fault of Buhari's but remnants of the failure of PDP/GEJ- would have been a tip of the iceberg.

Buhari came in at a critical time the nation was witnessing its worst moments ever since our return to civil rule- the naira was taking a severe beating, oil price was heading to rock bottom, stocks were nose-diving, electricity supply was nearly nonexistent, security was in shambles, and the general economic outlook was as bleak and as hopeless as never. Fixing all these rot which were occasioned by PDP's relentless assault on our commonwealth, especially in the last SIX years, takes more than just SIX months!

Meticulous planning is needed and there is no room for error in executing those plans. It is a make or mar era for Nigeria and Buhari understands that perfectly and needs no soothsayer to say so- certainly not internet rants from sore losers who would rather we continued in the road to perdition with Jonathan.

A budget is being drawn and any honest critic of the government would agree that its performance would be the first true litmus test of the Buhari admin whose first comprehensive prognosis, according to our constitution, would be out after FOUR years- after four budgets.

Well meaning Nigerians like myself remain resolute in their commitment for a better, prosperous, just, united, and resilient Nigeria, and unwavering in their trust in Buhari and his cabinet- Wailers can Wail and Howlers can Howl for all we care- it is in their DNA to do so.

Slowly but Steadily, Baba is charting a new course for a Nigeria of our dreams, my dream, where we wouldn't wake up everyday to be inundated by news of how Ministers and public officers are in a tight race to outdo themselves in the art of stealing public funds/properties- the only achievement that hitherto qualified one for National honours and State Pardon/VIPship. That is the Change Omenka voted for and it is as sure as day and night on course.

May God continue to bless Nigeria to the utter consternation of her enemies within and without.

In the mean time, lemme simply enjoy my booze and the DJ's switches.
