If she were trekking for Buhari would you give this response? Ask yourself and reply truthfully.

Your partisanship knows no bound. Even in matters that shouldn't have anything to do with partisanship.
Look who's talking. Lmao. cheesy

Mister! "I Stand Corrected" is an idiomatic expression, It's not a statement that you can twist or inflect to add tense or any other grammatical information, and yes it is only used when admitting to a mistake.

"I stand to be corrected" may have been used overtime because of Nigerians' wish to apply it to the context whereby one is not sure of the authenticity of what they have said, but it is ultimately ungrammatical, and it should be termed "Nigerian english"! Thanks
Oga, I didn't use it as an idiom, it was a statement I made. What's your problemhuh For instance, "letting a cat out of the bag" is an idiom, does it mean one can't use it when literally saying a cat was let out a baghuh

Abeg shift go one side. You don't come anywhere close to where I stand in spoken english. That's a fact.

This woman has lost all credibility. She's a total failure.

These guys just take Nigerians for fools. They are always so quick in making reference to the drop in oil price as though that happened right at the inception of the administration. When we had all the money in the world, with. Oil rices over $100pb for over five years, what did they do; buy more presidential jets, spend billion on feeding pets in Aso Rock, spend hundreds of millions on cutlery, jet around the world with a horde of aides and assistants, host every single international event in the continent, etc.

I feel so pained looking back at how much these guys rap£d this country.

As much as you people desire to see him fail, by the reason of God's mercies and grace, and our fervent prayers and faith, he will succeed, and so shall Nigeria.

Can hardly wait to see the reception in Otuoke. I guess a lot of gunshots from the militants would rent the air to recognise the return of the brother.

Nah. Far from it. Security purpose. That was why I said "until Buhari is sworn in". When Buhari takes his oath of office, I just might even use my picture on my profile.
