I agree with the foods and medications, but I don't agree with the idea that it is popular in the west alone. All of the people in Lagos you see with yellow and red eyes 24/7, have allegeries but they think that is how you're supposed to look because of poverty. Even autism. In Nigeria traffick will be coming at full speed, someone will decide that is the best time to cross the road and they will begin battling for their life just to cross the stress. Someone will get angry in traffic and use his vehicle to ram somebody else. Someone will be hired to teach students and immediately start trying to use the position to have sex with the children. Somebody will run out of their empty house screaming that their village people sent a witch to kill them. All of this is 'normal' in Nigeria, but is actually mental illness. The difference is in the West the diagnosis it and Nigeria we deal with it and complain.

So it’s probably a case of unreported cases due to poor diagnosis in Nigeria.
