My parents were public servants, my friends were children of public servants. When I was young I had great plans to contribute to Nigeria, after spending 2 decades abroad I had plans to bring development and help Nigerians.

The one thing I have realized and I can bet you the majority of returnees will confess after living abroad and returning home is that Nigerians are hopeless people. It is why sincere people don’t go into public service and you get the kind of people you get.

VDM is running his own hustle too but you are too dumb to see it. Assume 90% of activists or NGOs in Nigeria are fronts or a scam…..that doesn’t mean they don’t do charitable things. But it is all a cover! If for instance you are running a multimillion NGO or activism scam, it’s ok for you to donate a few millions or visit the underprivileged to keep up the front but that’s not the real hustle. They can easily raise N500m quietly and donate only N50-100m and pocket the rest which they will gradually withdraw as operational expenses. They need usefuleediots to gain the notoriety and brand to attract the big donors. So if you think this is about helping the masses, you are just another gullible and hungry usefuleediot!

From those who use activism to collect money from International organizations, to media houses who blackmail high profile people with stories, to those who get paid to protest. It’s all a means of livelihood. Charity organisations are one of the biggest scams even in the western world. It was once reported in the UK that for every £1 donated to a charity, sometimes as low as 10p goes to the actual cause. How you ever wondered where he gets the money for travel and fund his lifestyle? Did he tell you his father left him an inheritance?

What you ignoramuses don’t know about charities and NGOs is that all their lifestyle expenses and salaries etc are borne by the charity. So the easiest way to create a means of income for yourself is to set up a charity or an NGO, Find donors and after your lavish expenses, give the change to the actual cause. One of the biggest legitimate frauds in the world is setting up a charity. In a country like Nigeria they probably don’t even audit you.

What do I do? I try and impact those I come in contact with, but Nigerians as a collective are not worth my time and effort because if I give my time and effort into public service, it is not for enrichment but for true impact and Nigerians have shown they are not worth the sacrifice. When you are ready to fix your country you will fix it. I not going to be collateral damage like my parents generation.

BTW go and find out the real story behind his arrest. To start with he wasn’t arrested in GTB. He has 42 court cases……did you know that?

The difference is some understand the system and has used it to pull themselves up in a lawless society like ours with no oversight! I am not saying he is running a scam but when a man has no visible means of income except his self founded charity/NGO/ acticlvism…..alarm bells start to ring!

Nothing is ever as it appears in Nigeria. If you want to understand any situation in Nigeria, whether terrorism, insecurity, refineries not working, no light, protests or overnight activism, anything…….first ask yourself……who is making money from this and how? When a Nigerian all of a sudden is a warrior for human trafficking, ask him or her which global bodies against human trafficking t have funded them and how much of the funds they received they deployed to the cause and how much went in “expenses”!

I remember clearly VDM’s contribution to fighting human trafficking and his outcry recently has helped in rescuing girls trafficked for prostitution in Ivory Coast. Even led to some arrests of terrible humans responsible for this

So I got back from work today to see Prof Mgbeke Sandra Duru's video, while I did not watch everything from start to finish, I did notice some inconsistencies I'll like to point out.

1. Prof Mgbeke claims she does not know SP Akpabio but a review of her live video shows that he's saved in her phone and is actually one of her most recent chats. It's also shown clearly in the video @ 47 mins in, that she was in a voice call with him recently. Don't take my word for it, investigate by yourself.

2. Her failed attempts to pronounce some basic Igbo names in an attempt to seem posh we're easy to see through. This is a lady that lived and worked in the East for many years, some of those years were in the corridors of power in Imo state, how can she not know these pronunciations?

3. She has not explained why Natasha contacted her in the first place. Sounds ridiculous that Natasha will send such messages to someone she does not know (prof Mgbeke claims she didn't know Natasha till Natasha reached out to her via Whatsapp), sending messages that could destroy her if exposed to an untrusted and unvetted third party? How's that make sense??

4. Prof Mgbeke claims she has integrity because she was raised by Whites....(I have personal issues with that line of thought but I am trying to be free of sentiments in my review)...It is a fact that Prof Mgbeke has had dealings in the past with politicians in Nigeria, infact it is stated that she thought about forming a party to contest for imo governorship herself, and many allegations were made against her character, such a person valuing integrity is laughable. Show me a politician who values integrity, they're all the same to me, none of them impresses me (with the exception of one who shall not be named as they're not party to this shit show).

So there you have it, I tried to remain objective and impartial. My final conclusion, I think prof Mgbeke is being malicious and fraudulent in her assertions.
