Data is comparatively cheap these days compared to 2013 and below. Opera Mini has become a full fledged AD Browser and spends more data servicing ads that it would even save .

I Use Samsung Browser. This browser is fast and completely underrated. If you have Samsung phones released between 2015 and now, this is the browser for you. You can also download it from the Playstore. I use this on my Samsung phone 85% of the time. Chrome is heavy and does me no good. I don't even use chrome.

Microsoft Edge Browser For Android: This is another very good browser especially if you have a Windows 10 Laptop. You can open a page on your phone and clicking "Continue on PC", the tab opens automatically on your windows laptop. I use this 15% of the time.

start ur usmle journey if you haven't started , its a long process , but still continue trying to be get your placements for hjob, if u believe you're bouyant enough, you can start by doing Supra.... that is hjob without pay, so hjob doesn't delay u, all u have to do is apply in nearby hjob hospitals to u and see their CMDs that u are opting for supra, but if not then weigh the pros of returning to the US straight. but I'll say start your usmle here while trying to secure hjob, if need be along the line, u can always port, don't lose hope , and if your adventurous, pls go to far places in d north to apply, I did mine in ABUTH Zaria and never planned it before , Got frustrated with south west problems even though I was born bred and schooled in south west. u own a green card, u shouldn't delay ur usmle at all, cos the closer u finish it close to after graduation, the better your chances to match, so start usmle things asap

Good day all. I am a Greencard holder and I have currently finished medical school. Looking for house job has been tough. I am thinking of abandoning it to face my USMLE. I am however scared if my decision to abandon housemanship would affect me in the future negatively.

1. Subscribe after 12:01am.

2. Make sure that when it gets to 12:02am or so, disconnect your data for like 30 seconds and reconnect. This is necessary as the switch to the free browsing in most cases, is not automatic. This forces the switch.

People will keep looking at the 20million at just face value. I'm a green card holder. Just had mine like 3 months ago. Lemme tell you... Being a Green card holder gives you access to financial aid for school for 6 years... 4 years of college and 2 years of masters... Thats an average of 5 thousand dollars per year provided you don't exceed a certain limit of income. As at present, my younger brother was awarded a financial aid of over $9000. (Financial aid, not loan. So you don't pay back.)

Secondly, it's a highway to being an American citizen which your wife (or future wife) and children(or future children) are entitled to. So, multiple green cards and they'd become citizens.

3rdly, you've got access and opportunities for self development and creativity enhancement.

4thly, I live in New York. Minimum wage presently is $8.75/hour. If you are two, or find someone... You can afford to share your rent with the person for a startup. Then continually develop yourself. Presently, I receive 10/hour. I got a raise after a year. I work 40hours/week. If you can do two jobs and get about 60hours/week.... Good for you. In two or 3 years, depending on the career path you chose, you should be at least on 13/hour. You may then decide to live on your own and continue self development. By then, If you live responsibly, you'd have access to loans, cr3dit card limits of like $5k. With good credits, you can purchase things from Amazon interest free if you pay within 6months for example.

Fiftly, I earn in dollars. I just bought a $200 Bose Soundlink Mini 2 Bluetooth speaker worth over 40k in Naija( for Bluetooth speaker). Even if I earn 200k per month, do you think I can buy a Bluetooth speaker for that amount? I go-to the market and buy a pair of Nike sneakers for $70 dollars or even over $100 randomly. Convert that. I may have to be earning like 300k per month to do that.

There are so many more...
I am not saying America is a bed of roses. But believe me. Once you're responsible, America can help you be what you wanna be.

Sixtly... I don't need to talk about the ladies. You have very very pretty ladies here in America.

So, both have advantages and disadvantages. It depends on what you want. If you are like 40...you can take the 20mil and stay put. But, at say 25...where you still have the time and age is on your side... You can come to America, create a niche for yourself and live a great life. Believe me, there is another side of life to what we have in Nigeria.
