The Ibadan mall is currently under construction in the challenge area of Ibadan,I'm partly involved in the construction,it started early this year with massive removal of topsoil as the place used to be a refuse dump,piling is going on now,if you know where the high court is,there's a roundabout where fowls are sold.Look out for a large expance of land walled off with corrugated roofing sheet,that's the site address.
Be patient,the project will be delivered December next year;other things being equal

Abeg when last did you visit Ibadan? Probably you've been visiting Beere, Oje, Idi-Arere, Ogbere, Idi Ikan, etc

speedyboi: I've been to both cities...I gotta say, ilorin is much cleaner, 'tusher' and serene than ibadan. With good infrastructures in place. I personally love ilorin roads(no potholes whatsoever-one of the best roads I've seen in Nigeria...they are well maintained and cleaned with no dust at the edges). And in terms of shopping, ilorin has lots of high class peeps who are ready for mall as there are enough shopping stores there already. But ibadan...eerm *sneezes* sorry. The roads are dirty and dusty as the word dirty can be dirty. The potholes there can condemn a car's shock absorber. And ibadan peeps seems to prefer open market to supermarkets. So I hope that answers your question . Things might have changed though cos I visited ibadan two years ago and kwara is just last year.

You say... How myopic can you be? Be objective for once and stop all these sentiments. Ibadan may be living in past glories but Ilorin is still no match for Ibadan.
