RomanceShe Needs Your Honest Advice! by omofola(op): 2:12pm On Feb 19, 2009
Both guy and girl(A) have been dating for two and half years and plans for marriage is going on already which both family and friends know about and all of a sudden the guy tells the girl(A) that he has been seeing another girl(B) for 7months and the marriage has to be suspended because he doesnt have any chemistry for the girl(A) any more.

The guy says he is not breaking up with girl(A) but just likes the new girl(B) so much because he  had been asking girl(B) out back before she accepted now after bumping into her again so he just needs to be with the new girl (B) after all his effort chasing her and likeness for her.

He has stopped doing the old and loving things he does to girl(A) but still picks her calls and talks to her"just" normally.

They were friends for a yr plus before they started dating and prayers were made by both families before it was said that they were ok for each other.

what should the girl(A) do in this case and do you nairalanders think the guy will get tired if the new girl(B) or stick with her forever because the girl(A) still loves the guy and has forgiven him but still confused and scared as to what might happen next in the whole situation as she finds it difficult and scared getting into another relationship.

PoliticsRe: Fashola Shuts Aswani Market by omofola(f): 1:54pm On Jan 23, 2009
My guys, God bless you 10 times for your statements. Should such things have existed in the first place? As for alternatives hasn't the Lagos trade fair has been in existence for years of which we all know can accommodate these bogus Oshodi traders but to generate 100% profit they decided to establish themselves on public roads and walkways.

See how long they been asking car sellers at Berger along Tin can to move to the trade air (approx 7 years ago) and they've persisted despite parking on the expressway and overhead bridge which is already causing structural damage.

As for the idiots gearing towards tribalism ----- Haba na today!!! They see red and call it blue to justify their lawless nature ---- Pls look for another excuse as Lagos indigenes were amongst the worst hit.

Someone mentioned Lagos Island Markets as well earlier in the forum!! Again na today!! Wasn't Balogun Market cleared------abi Balogun dey Badagry for your eye!! Angry

Finally someone is doing something after years of mismanagement and lack of planning yet people complain.

As for those asking the government to make alternatives before clearing these so called illegal traders I ask you

1. Were these so called Oshodi traders born by the Market in the first place or didn’t they relocated there for illegal trading purposes ?

2. Are Lagos illegal markets the only place in Nigeria where people can trade successful and yield good profits. Abi other metropolitans or states no dey naija again?

Despite the large populace living in cities like New York, London, Barcelonia, Johannesburg & even Accra you still don't find market-places as lawless or unplanned as Oshodi; If the available legal Oshodi shops cannot accomodate all traders then it's for the traders to find other legal suitable locations for trade not establish themselves on the road.

Faithful Govenor abeg carry go !!, I'm based in England but will endeavor to come home and vote for you during the next elections. Finally a bit of sanity in dear Lasgidis. Smiley
Am on your side, Governor fash carry on.

Car TalkRe: Helmet In Lagos: He Disappeared! by omofola(f): 10:08am On Jan 12, 2009
I have heard about people disappearing from bikes after using the helmet, am not sure how true it is but i don't want to think about it because it sounds very scary, which means we might all start disappearing soon, but to think about it, it might really happen,we never can say, while i was still in the university, some years back a friend of mine was going to celebrate her birthday and boarded a taxi to go to the market in the morning, she later on came back at night in tears that she slept off in the taxi and woke up some where far away and found her way back to school, i guess God was on her side and she couldn't be used for rituals or something. we all need to be careful at this new development.
TravelRe: Nigerians Abroad: What Advise Will You Give Anyone Relocating Abroad? by omofola(f): 3:58pm On Jan 09, 2009
I have said it that i cant live or work abroad but can continue to go there for the holiday once in a while,we all know the fact that basic things of life are available there, fine and at a very high price to pay but going around sweeping the streets, washing toilets and washing plates for whites is degrading to me,i can never and will never do it,not at any price because money is not everything,i prefer to do that in my own country if it has come to that, 60% Nigerians that lived abroad and came back to Nigeria to live large were into different types of fraud before making it,20% were into prostitution and drugs,10% worked hard by washing plates and sweeping gutters and God blessed them which could have as well happened in Nigeria if they were patient enough, 10% come from very rich families that already made it here in Nigeria years back.

Nigerians should stop going abroad to act as slaves or criminals with the excuse that they are not making it here, even  rich Nigerian kids abroad are are into different atrocities and misbehaving ,please we should all have it in mind that whichever part of the world we are , we need to be patient, hardworking, have self control and be disciplined,God is with us in any part of the world as long as we believe and trust  in him.
RomanceRe: Beyonce's If I Was A Boy Does It Say What Women Really Are? Or What Men Are ? by omofola(f): 9:54am On Jan 06, 2009
Beyonce's song is simply asking men a simple question, how would you feel if we(women) treated you(men) the way you treat us? its not hard to see that men in general think that they can get away with anything, a man considers himself disrespected if a woman cheats on him but it's all fine and dandy for him to cheat on his woman right? a woman is as much a human being as a man and deserves the same consideration a man does, this isn't a cry for woman's liberation, its simply common sense especially when you take in the fact that some men treat their house pets better than they their wives!! the new breed of faithless women out there is simply a product of man's insensitivity, what goes around ultimately comes around,
What a man can do,a woman will do it much better

It's a very good start for you by going for either a professional course or masters in information technology as this will broaden your view but at the same time you need to work on the practical aspect as you may not get enough of this in the above mentioned exams,am in the IT field and have an idea on this, you need more practical experience as IT is very wide and can earn you a lot

The more your practical and theory experience the bigger your income and independence.Good luck
