Aladunni, dont know if she has announced her bfp but ypu are someone always remember in my prayers.

I saw some mamas aren't happy old mamas are not active hear anymore.hmmmm, i used to feel same before i got my bfp, i even told myself i wont behave like them when i finally get my bfp, but now i understand. To some, it maybe deliberate to others, it might be that they are overwhelmed by new activities/tasks/jobs etc just like me.

This may come hard but it's true, soon you will know better as God visit you. When you are ttcing, all your energy, time, resources i mean everyrhing is on how you will get over it, so coming here will be a daily routine but whe you hit it, gotten your bfp, another addition, you would want to read on how to maintain the blessing, what to eat and what not, best sleeping positions and all around it, you surround yourself with anything pregnancy, all your time, energy is moved away from ttc to pregnancy. And finally the bundle of joy arrives, hmmmm it takes God's grace to even remember your name!

You know, i am not insensitive to your feelings but that is the truth. Soon, i mean soon, you all will be able to relate with This by the power of God. Unbehalf of myself and all the oldies who are now mothers i apologize.

I will be coming here as often as i can to answer questions, share my experience and all.

But the truth is, even if i dont physically come here, i always mention all ttc sisters before God in my prayers constantly. I pray God visit this thread, may there be bfp record this month on this thread like never before in Jesus name.

You who seem to be ashame, afterall you have posted for long, oh people are counting my years, i had better been away, am ashame i have not announced my bfp and you just decided to go, this month, you will testify here in Jesus name.

Let the new begin now by the power of God.

Hi Emma, i read this thread and its being helpful. I don't breed in large quantity, i just do about 20 and we eat when they are grown. It's like a hobby for me. But i usually experience high mortality, when i buy they die and and am left with like 1 or two

But when i found this thread, the first i got after that was superb, no mortality.i buy from these hawkers, and i give garlic on second day. Third day same. Fourth day vitamin c, i mix their food with it.

After that i give bitter leaf, ugu leaf, panadol when the weather is cold. My cockerels were so big in two months. I bought in march and we alreadt ate all of them.

New batch are in, this time broilers, they were so fragile and couldnt stand to eat, i remembered reading here to give calcuim for that, i gave them calcuim and gbam, they all play , fly and shoutt.

Just share my experience and to say thank you.

I get mine from two weeks old and not more than 20. My own safeguards has been giving them garlic second day of buying them, and depending on weather i give panadol when it cold. It drive cold away from them immediately. I also give bitter leaf, vitamin c, and ugu leaf. Vitamin c makes them eat like anything and ugu makes them big.

I raised cockerel in two months with this method. Even the seller dint believe it.

Let me also add, the most recent i got were very fragile, some couldnt even stand well. I bought calcium, ground it and add to their food, i did that twice and the result was superb. They fly like anythings now in their cage.

Also, when its very hot, i give them cold water. I take block from freezer atimes and add to their water.

Please is it normal for my birds to always open their mouth, like they breathe through their mouth this way in the photo?

Am not a commercial breeder. I just do few ones at home and eat when they are grown. I read some of the tips on nl and applied to the few ones i raise and no mortality so far.

On your question, my experience with birds opening their mouth is due to dehydration or heat. Am sure you notice that in the afternoon when it's hot right? It means they are not getting enough ventilation. I have read through your posts and responses, the contructuon of your pen is nice but needs adjustment for enough vebtilation. Kindly remove some planks, use tarpaulin for covering when you notice the weather is down. This is very very important.

@Enque and Zaynie, thanks for your responses. We've been to the hospital. No infection no this no that. Was given flagyl n ort. Even took them to a phamacist yesterday and was told not to try any other antibiotics so i wont cause more harms.

I cant say both dint work cos they dont take the ort.

Am self medicating them on vitamin c cos they sneeze sometimes, i stopped that yesterday, does vitamin c increase stooling? Make i answer myself first, i think yes cos it works for softening stool. Hmmm maybe am the one not allowing the flagyl to work afterall.

Please i need urgent help.

My kids are seriously stooling. I have done all i should do. This is the very first time they are all stooling. No infection, have given them flagyl, ort though they dont like it, i mix in water sparingly so they wont get the taste in water cos if they do they wont take it. Still no show.

Genesis of it, my daughter doesnt like you touch her head, just to make her calm and make hair i gave her sweets, i dont ever do that, i also changed their biscuit to pure bliss waiver, i tasted the biscuit abd saw its so sweet and i have stopped giving them. Since monday its been war with stooling.

Infact i bought garri for them to drink na lie, bought bread na lie, they took pap same lie. Plus all the drugs given. Am weak now. I broke down today in tears and dont go to church. My hubby is a vwry busy man so am just alone with them and its being sooooo stressful.

Please, i need home remedies or any anything that can permanently stop this stooling for them.

Me self being stooling, i wanted the rubbish pure bliss to finish in my house and i eat it over ten of it and its not funny with me too.

I just want to encourage everyone waiting to make use of this waiting time well. Soon, you won't have time to sleep ooo just like me. I used to think 24 hours is to much for a day, no 24 hours is so small for a day. Rest well now, buy your baby stuffs now, do all do-ables now.


No matter the challenges, surely as God lives, they all will come to pass. No one will remain in the same position forever. People who used to be here 2012, 2013 , 2014 know me with high prolactin and low sperm count issues, now it's a thing of the past. God has blssed us with children. We have even stopped thinking of giving birth because we are happy and okay with the ones He has Blessed us with.

You may want to ask? How did we treate the low count, yes we tried all we could, I used so many drugs, eat veggies and fruits, Hubby also used this and that to boost his count, he even scheduled having one surgery to remove what was blocking sperm (have forgotten all those nonsense names of all diagnosis). Out of fear he refused and wanted icsi instead.

While we were planning icsi and travelling for it God did the did it. Now, it's all in the past, I can't even remember all those pains anymore. One sincere prayer I used to pray then was, Lord please remember you don't work with multitudes, you need very little to work with, Lord use my husband's little sperm to do wonders. All the drugs he used never changed anything, but God heard us.

Someone here will soon forget her ugly experiences and stories. Someone will soon praise and sing aloud of God's faithfulness.

@Icesnow, thanks for sharing. As that was what my friend's hubby was told and the man being in doubt, had to consult another clinic without her knowing, the other clinic tested sfa good and he went as far as outa naija to try another woman and she took in.

He came back and pretended, went ahead and paid for her ivf which failed cos she has fibroid. It was after the failed ivf that another dr told her she only wasted her money for ivf considering the type of fibroid she has.

In any way, it signals that, all women looking out for ivf, iui should seek opinions from others dr's and compare, also do personal research.

If your fibroid is located in the womb, pls it needs to be treated before ivf. All hindrances to ivf success should be taken away before puting down your money.

That no ivf clinic is interest in money is a lie, and that they are not also interested in your success is also a lie cos the percentage of their success sing and herald their clinic name to other potential customers/patients.

However, due diligence on any woman/couple going that route is very very important.

I really don't appreciate where you said you are pregnant now and so she should find her fellow 'e sisters', Haba, that isn't nice to say . Some of us already have kids but still come around to help others, I know myself, I know one or two people too who already have two kids, some don't even mention it cos they want to stay relevant helping others. That we are pregnant or already have our kids should not make us speak down on others.

I do also have a friend who had an ugly experience with the said dr but cos I never had a personal experience with him, I can't really say anything online. However, if I had had an ugly experience with him, no Jupiter will stop me from sharing it. I can't share my friends experience cos I wasn't there and don't know where she added 'jara' to the story.

Some people am sure don't have all the rosy experience but are afraid to share cos of what 'supporters club' will say, that was what my friend told me, that she doesn't want anyone to attack her, but that doesn't help at all. Let's help ourselves and be plain.

As far as you pay your own bills, don't be afraid of anyone, share your views.

Most importantly, personal views on situations are different. To someone else, their experience is superb and to another, mba, they are not convinced and good with the dr's opinion.

Above all, prayer is the key factor to choosing the best treatment place.

Please and please, prayer is key, I remember in the time of our prayer then, we would have like three people announcing pregnancy news in a day, and on and on like that. We were not separated by our believes, Muslim, christian and others were all calling on God almighty. I remember we had choirmistress, pastors, bible teachers, service organisers. And miracles abound in our lives. I tell you almost all of us then have one miracle or the other. I think they need to arise giants on this thread again.

We had Moses then, they have received and moved on to other threads. Let there arise a Joshua to take on.

Let the list begin to reduce by divine visitation. Over 200 on the list is way too high.

May God open the floodgates of heaven and pour out babies into your homes in Jesus name. Let the list be swept by the Holy Spirit in Jesus name.

Even Jesus said, some things can only be done by adding fasting to our prayers. Yes, though faceless, we did it then, you all can also do it again.

And my recent doctor told me of a patient who her parent brought to the clinic for examinaation. She denied ever knowing a man, but her parent saw that her belle was coming out, she was actually four months gone by then, she knew no more menses too. So its posible.
