Hmmmmmmm, I use my authority to put an end to every quarrel, misunderstanding, exchange of words, the use of unpleasant words, name callings and stuff. lol
Sisters pls on a serious note this forum is to support one another, am sure we can still argue things out without sounding abusive. I can remember when someone accused me of being a paid agent for Dr. Shaibu of Fertilaid ( and God is my witness that till date I have not seen his kobo but I have referred more than 10people to his clinic), I didn't take it up with the person cause I know why we are here. I cant possibly allow anyone to truncate the good job that God is using people to do here.
It gladdens my heart each time I come in here and I see the thread being alive without people like us (Blendy, Nogen, Honeybony, safe06, Venus, Abibby and other old timers who are probably too busy to post stuff again). Pls lets keep the spirit alive. This is one big family that I cant forget, some of you attended my children's dedication and first birthday, that fraternity can never be forgotten. My wife still talks about it till date, someone in this forum sent some money for my children all the way from UK, that's the spirit in this place, so lets keep it up.
Congrats to all the preggies, am waiting for more good news b/c our God will visit each and everyone of us. Love you all.

@Icesnow, thanks for sharing. As that was what my friend's hubby was told and the man being in doubt, had to consult another clinic without her knowing, the other clinic tested sfa good and he went as far as outa naija to try another woman and she took in.

He came back and pretended, went ahead and paid for her ivf which failed cos she has fibroid. It was after the failed ivf that another dr told her she only wasted her money for ivf considering the type of fibroid she has.

In any way, it signals that, all women looking out for ivf, iui should seek opinions from others dr's and compare, also do personal research.

If your fibroid is located in the womb, pls it needs to be treated before ivf. All hindrances to ivf success should be taken away before puting down your money.

That no ivf clinic is interest in money is a lie, and that they are not also interested in your success is also a lie cos the percentage of their success sing and herald their clinic name to other potential customers/patients.

However, due diligence on any woman/couple going that route is very very important.

Moving on.....
So I had a hysterscopy yesterday. Slept through it. Didn't feel any discomfort. Just spotting, which has stopped. I used Gynescope PH. It wasn't so bad after all.

@ delor ,Sorry that you were late to the arena. Just stop it already, don't deliberately try to ignite fire that has already died down and derail the thread. We've moved on and gone past that. Namaste.

@ Mamakendra Congrats on your successful procedure, you're closer to your Bfp than you know. May God bless and manifest your Bfp fast and soon. Take care.

Do you know some people think the age of pregnancy is from ovulation? That's why you would hear some people say they are 2weeks pregnant.

Meanwhile, congrats icesnow on your pregnancy. Happy bumping.

@Fvine, thanks for sharing your experience. God will bless your womb.

@everyone, please we all have different experiences with different drs and clinics. Everyone Is entitled to his or her opinion. When someone shares we should not just come out to disapprove or counter. That is the person's experience please.

I have used 4 clinics; Regenesis, Olive, St Ives and Georges.
Regenesis was terrible and I have shared it here.

Olive branch was just there. Nothing spectacular.

St Ives surprisingly was good for me apart from a day I came to the hospital and they were searching for the Dr on duty. Couldn't reach her even on phone. I had to wait and wait. Now imagine if that was an emergency.

Georges: Good. Has lapses here and there (nothing major though)but I consoled myself with "this is Nigeria".
That I had these experiences won't make me think someone else is irrelevant or fake.

Prisms Diagnostic centre is one centre I love and quickly refer people there but I had a terrible terrible terrible experience with them. Still they are my best.

buhahahahahaha.....so you replied,i know your type.. ..And yes,I need to find my e-sisters....those whose first child is 7yrs old and probably trying for a 2nd or 3rd child, not someone who is 2weeks preggy probably for the first time. Thanks for reminding me darling, and lest I forget......congrats on your bfp

I have followed this argument but I just had to chip in here. Reviews are good. They helps others make informed and considered desicions. Diverse opinions are good.
But there re things that should NEVER BE SAID haba! When we take the crap from folks that are not ttcing , we don't expect this kinda talk from fellow ttcers. That's just plain insensitive. Even though u weren't speaking to me, it hurt me. Mma please no matter how angry u get, some words can never be taken back.
My post is not to exchange words but to draw your attn to human feelings.

am not surppoting any doc or hospital, but my tak e is....you have been trying to concieeve for 4yrs plus.....n its assumed you hv visited various docs/hospital in the course of the 4yrs plus, and then age isnt also on ur side...assume the female is 33yrs plus.........no specialist ivf center would want to keep playing around doing tests,..n trying to boosting sperm.
its straight ivf sharp sharp!!!.

similar scenario played out for me when i went to georges lekki, was tired of doing tests, n nothing found to b the cause of the infertility, thus when the doc was advicing for ivf...i rush am with 2 hands,,,cos na ivf carry me go there.

same scenario will play out if you go to a non ivf specialist center........they fit do tests, n sperm boosting for 6months or more b4 either u urself will use style run...or they would advice u stylishly to try ivf...

@people that said doc emeka doesnt like money............could b true.

at georges...the docs stick to preparing u for ivf, and leave the money chasing/bill settling to the admin people....so even if u attempt to discuss money issues with the doc, you will b kindly refeered to the admin/accts people.....
that to me is professionalim

Hi all. I have been a silent reader of this thread for a long time. I am upset at what this is becoming. Gosh!! We really need to watch our words carefully. I understand that some people are sensitive ...especially now......but please, we have to be careful.

When we get upset, lets take a minute to calm down.....think about it.....before responding. This we should do in our daily lives as well. Not preaching. Just saying.

Have a wonderful day everyone !!
Please preach. Preach on biko

Good evening to all mamas in the house, with great joy, happiness and grateful heart to God I am glad to say after 4 years and for the time time in my 32 years on earth I finally got my BFP today. Uhmmmmmm it was such a long and tiring journey but I give all praise and honor God. I did hysterocopy in August 2014 and iui last year February but it failed, one mama here gave information about one hospital she used in india I contacted them in November, did all the required tests and was set to go to lagos for visa when suddenly my husband said he wasn't interested again, I was devastated I stopped taking all medications even folic acid, started eating all the things I stopped eating cos of ttc in short I was depressed. It even affected my love life with my husband, fast forward to February 14 this year my husband surprised me by taking out to spend the night in one of the biggest hotel in town apologised for cancelling the india trip which was suppose to be in February and informed me that he had made appointment with our doctor for another iui in April, we made up and had a nice time. My sisters the result of which came out to be BFP today. I just want to encourage all that God is still there, He listen to prayers and make things beautiful at his own right time, even though Satan makes our problem look so big we forget to thank God for other things that count. Jehovah God that remembered me even when I thought he has forgotten about me will remember and show mercy to all mamas in the house. Sorry for my long story smiley

Nne, like I said I was asleep through out the whole procedure. I was given an IV injection, and within 2 mins, I was knocked out.
Your question about prevention of adhesion, pass me. I don't know that one.
Anyway, in my little knowledge, hysteroscopy is not done to prevent adhesions, but rather to remove adhesions, and clear the uterus of anyother unwanted substance there.
There is another procedure for the prevention of adhesions. Pls research on it.
Hope I have answered your questions?
