RioCarputo: I school in UI and Obafemi Awololowo hall, a female hostel in UI accommodating over 7000 students which is also dubbed as the biggest hall of residence in the whole of West Africa
But of recent I learnt that there's also an Obafemi Awolowo hall in OAU.
By the way, the Awo hall you mentioned, is it the one in UI or OAU?. OAU. Nigerian public university hostels are a joke btw. |

virtuouswoman77: Pls how do I handle this problem of hubby that does not have self control when it comes to alcohol?
He drinks too much and sometimes messes the bed up with urine.
I have talked to him still no change pls I need practice solutions that will make him stop because he is the type that doesn't take things serious unless it gets to him and this his behavior is making me regret my marriage to him. There's a drug. I can't remember the name, but if you get him to take it, he'll react badly to alcohol whenever he takes it. No fatal reaction, just throwing up and stuff like that. So after some days/weeks of this treatment, the urge to take alcohol would have reduced drastically. Talk to pharmacist about it as I do not advocate for self medication. |

Zimri: 10.
To the Aztecs, death was instrumental in the perpetuation of creation, and gods and humans alike had the responsibility of sacrificing themselves in order to allow life to continue. Blood sacrifice in various forms was conducted. Both humans and animals were sacrificed, depending on the god to be placated and the ceremony being conducted, and priests of some gods were sometimes required to provide their own blood through self-mutilation
It is known that some rituals included acts of cannibalism, with the captor and his family consuming part of the flesh of their sacrificed captives
"When the Spanish conquistador Hernán Cortés and his men arrived in the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlán in 1521, they described witnessing a grisly ceremony. Aztec priests, using razor-sharp obsidian blades, sliced open the chests of sacrificial victims and offered their still-beating hearts to the gods. They then tossed the victims’ lifeless bodies down the steps of the towering Templo Mayor." Sounds like apocalypto |

National association of university students (NAUS), National association of polytechnic students (NAPS), and National association of Nigerian colleges of education (NANCES) to demand for immediate reopening of campus across Nigeria. More details in the picture attached. Nigerian students have resolved to embark on a nationwide protest, as the two-week ultimatum issued the Federal Government by student leaders on school re-opening elapses.
Leaders of National Association of University Students (NAUS), National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) and National Association of College of Education Students (NANCES), at the end of their virtual meeting yesterday, said the protest would hold tomorrow.
The student leaders said they would converge at the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja, while state coordinators would march to the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) secretariats in their various states.
NANCES president, Mahmud Abubakar, told The Guardian: “The agitation is still one, which is the re-opening of our campuses. We just want to hear from the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, the date for resumption, as we are more open to the deadly coronavirus at home than on campus, and an idle mind is the devil’s workshop.”
On his part, NAPS president, Sunday Asuku, said the protest would be peaceful and that security agencies and the International Human Right Commission (IHRC) had been notified.
“It is so disheartening, appalling and unethical knowing that our government doesn’t place priority on education. We all know that COVID-19 is real, but extremely blown out of proportion in Nigeria. Our institutions have been placed under lock and key for good six months with the claim of preventing the spread of COVID-19 on campuses. As much as we appreciate the government for the acclaimed love, we condemn in totality the continued closure of our institutions.
“We understand that COVID-19 couldn’t halt the electoral process in Edo and Ondo states, even with the multitude coverging during rallies. We are tired of guidelines; reopen our school now,” Asuku stated. https://m.guardian.ng/news/students-protest-against-schools-closure-today/
