Wiseandtrue:Ha! Your typical Nigerian. How has all the faith that you Nigerians have helped your country? |

I am 33 but this man looks like he could be my father. How is it that we are one of the most religious nations on the earth, yet we commit these unspeakable crimes? |
I am not trying to be insulting or sarcastic, but is that an hostel or a jail? Qué lástima! |
The babaláwo wey dey produce 2baba love potion sabi work no be small. |

Haba, for the love of God. See as una just dey list impossible things for one woman to have. This is why the majority of people in the world are unhappy. Women and men have unrealistic and too many expectations. In fact, most people do not have 10% of what they demand from others. If your list pass 3 things, you will probably die unhappy. |
samysmoothfresh:Chai my guy, but e be like say some girl don teach you lesson b4 b4. ![]() Take heart ehn. E happen to me too b4; in fact, e don happen to almost every guy. But dis your rant get as he be sha. Take am easy o. Doh! |
Her altruism, dedication, loyalty, and devotion. I have never loved anyone like I did her and I am afraid I may never love in this fashion. We were perfect for each other, a match made in heaven. But she was a Muslim and I was a Christian, so our families did not approve. In fact, she was an American Lebanese Arab who wore an hijab and she was very devout. My Christian family were against the relationship. They referenced the famous scriptures about "not being unequally yoked with unbelievers" and her people were vehemently against our relationship, claiming that it was Haram and against the will of Allah. It was a very interesting situation, in that religious folks were using their Holy Books to support the breakdown of a relationship between two people who deeply loved each other. My faith is still intact, but I no longer associate with bigots who use religion to separate people. Ultimately, her family gave her a choice: me or them. And she chose them. I have never felt this type of pain. I did not intentionally seek out an Arab Muslim. IT JUST HAPPENED! Notice that I did not say anything about her looks. In fact, this was the very first time that a woman's looks meant nothing to me. It was completely about her character and devotion. Anyway, I am rambling. I should leave now! |
Someone needs to hook me up with Chioma's Babalawo. The man sabi work no be small. |
ineedahusband:How do we know that you are serious and this is not a scam? You need to further convince us that your desire is legitimate and real. |
What state in America do you reside in? |
I find it interesting that the moderators tell members that, in order to prevent thread duplication, to use the search function before creating a thread; alas, they have failed to adhere to their own rules. Original Frontpage thread: https://www.nairaland.com/1260527/ini-edo-wearing-black-dress |
But this already made front page some days ago. Chei! nairaland. |
free2ryhme: he that is without sin cast the first stoneBut this can be said of all crimes. That is, I cannot cast a stone at a rapìst because I am also a sinner. |

vascey: Comrade no vex o... But don't you find it a "tiny little bit" awkward that you are here doing first to comment while some fourteen year old in "Nigeria's strife ravaged city of Jos" is creating his own social network and is being featured on a national daily (oops that's the topic of the thread).Comrade no vex o... But don't you find it a "tiny little bit" awkward that you are here asking why someone is doing first to comment while some fourteen year old in "Nigeria's strife ravaged city of Jos" is creating his own social network and is being featured on a national daily (oops that's the topic of the thread). No pun intended. Just asking. |
@OP Pele. Find a very beautiful woman to marry so that it will balance your condition. My only fear is that your understanding of beauty is different from most; ergo, you may end up with an Mgbeke while thinking that you have arrived. Do not subject your future children, if any, to a similar fate. It would be cruel and inhumane. I have talk my own. |
Texas.Cowgirl:It means Daz all. |
BABE!:Gbam! Lobatan. |
ericcyder: Mehn that guy is handsomely ugly...Chei, see as Baba God use ugliness take anoint you. |
If there is one thing all men--and even women--could learn from this, it is confidence. This man is the most confident ugly man I have ever seen. His posture and attitude reflects that of a confident man. |
ItsModella: Ororo doesn't stick like that. It looks like he emptied a full bottle of lip gloss on his lips. ![]() |
ebamma: My guy nothing do you,50percent of people yabbing u on dis thread are more ugly than segun arinze, one man's handsome is another man's ugly, dont let anybody make u lose your self esteem, enjoy your lifeMy guy I disagree. I have never seen any man this pristinely and laughably ugly. I am not a looker myself; however, compared to the OP, I am Brad Pitt. |
If the OP were an American, I would have never made fun of him! Not because I am more sensitive toward Americans but because they will go and commit suicide after an online bashing. |
manny4life: Can you imagine, "Nigerian men" with crusty nasty lips? Now I see why OP had to use lip gloss to polish his lips.LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Chinekeeeeeee............. I doubt it was lip gloss. That thing is too shiny. It has to be ororo (groundnut oil). |
Texas.Cowgirl:**ọmọ_τó_dùn falls from mango tree**. See as you finish us. Anyway, God dey. ![]() |
@Aunty Ileke-idi Eku ojo meta. You still dey for NL prison? Why do you like making fun of your countrymen? |
ItsModella: translate jor, not everyone is yorubaMy sister I wanted to translate but the thing big pass me. If I tried at all, I would have utterly failed. Maybe someone with a better grasp of the English language can help me out. Proverbs are too hard to translate. |
You are comically ugly. Your ugliness is the type that prompts folks to share on facebook/twitter/google+. The Yorubas will say, "Ari iru eleyi ri afi n da eru ba oloro ni." But I beg to differ with the elders. Emi oti ri iru eleyi ri o. |
Bibol: But seriously, this nonsense has got to stop on Nairaland? What's with people showing off their pictures here like its some award winning feat?Instead of chatting about celebrities we have chosen to chat about ourselves! We--the members of NL--should be the stars. Daz all. |
