I am having the same problem and this has happened before. When this happens, it normally happens to everyone. Absolutely nothing to worry about; just a minor glitch in the system.

There is a dearth of information regarding those of us who filed our passport renewal application overseas, especially in the States. I would like to know if any Nairalander availed themselves of the services of the New York Consulate in processing their passports. How long did it take you to get your passport? I did my capturing on the 6th of March, 2023, and I plan on going to 9ja in about three months.

Sir, this makes no sense. No matter how you discipline them, Nigerian men are the ones who go about sleeping with young girls, defiling naive students for grades, chasing after married women etc. The ones who need discipline are the men. The women in a patriarchal society are simply the reflection of the men, so if Nigerian women are prostitutes, then Nigerian men are the main cause of it. This is really an indictment on Nigerian men, not the women. We want virgins but we want to sleep with everything in a skirt; if we are all sleeping around, then where will these virgins come from?

I will have to agree with the OP in this case. A friend of mine here in California did the same thing and he was charged with marital fraud. Now if Hakimi transferred all his wealth to his mother BEFORE his marriage, then the courts can do nothing. However, he was actively transferring the money to his mother's account DURING the marriage. Legally, that money belonged to both him and his wife.
