Attack on the President's security and attack on Kuje Prison is an attack on the Country. However, it is beginning to look like there is an agreement with the terrorists to operate freely in the country. Nothing so far is being done to curtail their operations. If our no 1 was not spared what about us! We need to defend ourselves by all means. |
Politics › Re: Why Peter Obi And Kwankwaso Coalition Collapsed - Okupe, Umeh by omowumi9: 5:36am On Jul 06, 2022 |
otipoju: I like the way Okupe was emphatically unequivocal in stating that the proposal was dead.
It died the moment they tried to justify that it did not matter that a northerner from the same geopolitical zone as the outgoing president could succeed him over a region that had not produced even a vice president in the modern democratic era.
Labour party quickly moved on. No time to check time. Kwankwaso greed cost him an easy shot at the presidency after Peter Obi.
Make Kwankwaso come test him popularity for national level, make we see.
He will split northern votes with Atiku and Tinubu. Obi will clear the whole of south south and south east, win Lagos and Ondo in the west and the whole of the christian middle belt.
I count 19 states for Labour Party. It is good to have high hopes. It keeps body and soul alive. Wait till the reality is dawn on you. In the meantime, enjoy your fantasy . The key to Aso Rock has been passed to the next President. If you know you know |
Politics › Re: Owo Massacre : Akeredolu Backs Matawalle On Self-defence by omowumi9: 7:21pm On Jul 05, 2022 |
festacman: Telling the civil populace to arm and defend themselves suits our visionless leaders to confidently continue to shirk real governance while mismanaging public money. While you fight the terrorists and get killed, the police and army being paid by the public fund guard the politicians and their families as they continue in office.
Instead of arming to defend themselves, Nigerians should use that courage to defiantly demand higher standard of governance from our Governors, the Legislators and the President. EndSars protests showed that a lot can be achieved by active interrogation of our leaders. The truth is that it our political leaders that we should fight against.
Fight the failed corrupt political leaders. They are the real terrorists.
The question is how do you fight heavily guarded political leaders? We have lost hope in our political leaders hence the need to defend ourselves. Do you wait for the failed political leaders to provide water or good road to your community. We all know the extent we go to provide water and road and so many services including security The reason is because we don't trust the government a bit. We should use any means necessary to defend ourselves. My take foebtjebufotunang post=114454448: Nigerians to carry guns and firearms..see what is happening in the USA because their citizens have right to carry guns...mass shooting and the shooter killing innocent people almost everyday...in nigeria where we have a lot of frustrated, hungry people. and people in poverty...many of them will use the guns to commit crime, kidnap people. ...if you annoy your neighbor your neighbor can use the gun to kill you, ..husband and wife will shoot each other over a quarrels and misunderstanding...so it will be more worst in nigeria if nigerians are allowed to carry guns |

Joezinho: Adeyanju Deji getting dragged by his new found friends. A sight I love to see.
You deserve it, orangutan. For trying to stick your neck out for these narcissistic people. Screaming it's their turn to be president and insulting your own kinsmen. All Igbo activists and influencers are supporting their Obi but efulefus like Deji is acting like a cursed toad..
I have no polite words for hardened slaves who betray their kinsmen.. Carry on being 'gentle' by doing the equivalent of a black man inviting an unrepentant racist to his home for dinner.
You got served Deji. Deal with your new found friends, Ewu. Peter Obi is selfish. I doubt his kind of president. He should be in Ekiti supporting his party flag bearer instead of embarking on frivolous trip. Typical of their kind |

Anyone saying that Okowa betrayed South only to openly or tactically support Tinubu is the worst betrayer ever. Such sadistic soul did not only betray South but also betrayed his conscience and the destiny of Nigeria and generations yet unborn. PANDEF et all should throw their weight behind a winning candidate, BAT. Do not lose out completely. |

He travelled on personal business trip. How many states has he travelled to to campaign and have first hand knowledge of their situation? What efforts has made to ensure PO is on the lips of all? Elections are not won on FB or Nairaland. He should do his homework thoroughly before embarking on useless trip. I even want to ask, what good has he done aside being a Governor for 8 years? What are his commitments in this country? He is only interested in becoming President. Bomboiy: While Tinubu is going to meet one politician or the other,Obi is making moves to learn what it takes to develop a country. Saint Obi left PDP for LP and muscled his way to clinch the LP presidential ticket just like that. He bought his way to win the ticket just like others. He is no saint and he is not the best fir the country. We are left with bad choices but we must chose one who knows the terrain very well. One who has discovered, trained and produced good managers. Angelfrost: In the absence of Peter Obi, there is honestly no one else at this point....
Tinubu is another looming Buhari!
Atiku will always be Atiku whose own President (Obj) wrote off as terribly corrupt!
This is not about Obi's tribe sir... He is the only reasonable option left for Nigerians! |
Politics › Re: Nation Grid Has Collapsed Again by omowumi9: 7:08am On Jun 13, 2022 |
Yeah! Peter Obi will without doubt fix the nation's electricity issues because he is the god of electricity. I love the packaging you people are giving PO as if he is the best. He left the country and only came back when elections approach. You people are only supporting PO because he is one of you and not that you are convinced in his ability to lead the country. PresidObi: We need a good manager of resources to manage our country and the power sector, we need a good economist who will genuinely invest in the power sector with honesty and transparency.
The national grid will never collapse again if Peter Obi is the president.
Vote Peter Obi for president. |
