I did my interview on July 9th, 12:00PM. I did my CBT in Uniport PH. Yet to receive payment.
A friend who did around the same time has been paid and who wrote the CNT in Port Harcourt also was paid first week of August.
I just want to know if there is anyone who did his/her interview same date and time and has not been paid also?
Note: I don't give a damn about the relationship between TP and APL. Local man just needs money.

Same date, 7am, CBT: Lagos, not yet paid... Some others who interviewed with my panel, same time and from lagos too, have received alert. I don't even understand whats going on, local man needs alert

I never knew the payment would take this form/pattern, i did not have any experience of how NNPC pays, so upon getting here and that our guy (soothsayer) foresaw that we would be paid 20k flat. I became very happy and i just remembered a guy (my friend ni o) had transferred one 20k to me on 1st of July, and the money was not for me to spend. i just dashed to using my bank USSD Code, started using the money hoping that NNPC would pay my 20k. i finished that 20k sharpsharp .....alas!

i am, for this solely reason, earnestly expecting my TfARE.

Just looking at the difficulty of collating interview scores, ranking them by state of origin and LGA, seperating candidates into different panels and now collecting candidates account info from Block D(multiple panels). Sieving through lots of paper to find candidates that were successful and pay them(or not pay them).

Js picturing the practicality of it, its a lot of work and it is very unlikely that payment is related to interview performance. They could have easily asked for your account number after the interview or the panel secretary could have collected that info b4 the interview, or NNPC could av asked to fill that info online, at least it would be easier to link candidate's performance to their account numbers that way. Nobody likes stress plus this is a government company, even if its a private company, this kind of stress is unnecessary.

I see some local men complaining that they got alert, lmao. Someone was saying he doesn't know whether to be happy or sad that he has gotten alert ... Please I'm happy to receive alerts on behalf of anyone that doesn't want it. Gracias.

And before you ask, I'm a non alertee, July 9th 7am. I hereby call for all theories to be disbanded henceforth and we focus solely on when APL drops.

Lol. I'm also a non alertee but at this point, if there is any correlation, that would be more likely than the AB theory IMO unless people are lying about their alerted status. Either that or everyone would be paid before APL drops.

What if nairaland is a representative of the top percentile/best performers from the just concluded interview hence the large number of persons that haven't been paid their TF, wouldn't that make the ABT theory valid?
PS: I'm not in support of any theory but I just want you to look at your proposition from another anguu

I actually understand your point tho but lets be realistic, the statistical difference is huge. If 1300 jobs are going to be distributed among 9000 candidates(estimate), that is less than 15% success rate. Now out of every 100 people that interviewed, only 15 will be successful, if you compare that to the TF alertees vs non alertees, the difference is huge, not only on nairaland, check among your colleagues, friends, other online sources(twitter and d likes), If you look closely, more people are yet to receive alert.

If APL drops before TF has been paid to everybody, then that means there might be a correlation afterall.
From my observations on nairaland, non alertees are way more than the alertees which renders the AB theory useless.

So how about we take an honest poll for the statisticians to see. Nairaland is a representative sample of total applicants and some inference can be drawn.

Reading through comment, I see a lot of post like Nigeria is getting bad n bad and Youth should find a way to run out of the country. There are a lot of people that have travelled out and are very successful now, If you like naija so much, stay but don't try to discourage those that want to leave. I personally know people who were a waste of space in this country and are very successful today abroad.. Different strokes for difficult folks. If you feel staying in this country makes you hardworking, then by all means........ We all have different ambitions in life and everybody cannot be successful.... Take it or leave it.

I don't think there is a correlation b/w TF & APL. I think while processing the payment, some people/names were mistakenly jumped . I am no more worried because my aim is the APL not the TF.

There's definitely a trend. Regarding its relationship with APL, time would tell.
In summary, what I have learnt so far is that among the dates paid already, some were paid and others weren't. I'm leaning to each category being placed on an interest group... Whether APL interest group, Discipline interest group, Bank interest group etc.

I would have been more certain if July 5th experienced mass payments as I have a good sample size to establish a fact based hypothesis. The sample size includes me and several friends who had same panel interviews, sheet attendance, and performance descriptions(albeit cannot be used foundationally). Truly, if July 5th has been paid, I can personally come up with a good fact based explanation even though it might be totally wrong when everything unveils

Facts are never wrong. Why go thru the stress of coming up with something that might be wrong in the end.. Some July 5th have been alerted and I'm sure different bank groups have been alerted, discipline based, i know ppl that interviewed with me that have been alerted... So those 3 are unlikely from my point of view

I really don't know how they are doing it now but it has been a tradition for NNPC to reimburse tp for interview. I have someone working there presently and I asked him about this tp/Apl correlation n he said during his own time he was also paid #56 as tfare reimbursement.. We just need to keep praying and hoping.

But the last set of recruitment was like 7 years ago, is it not possible that something has changed?

Okay, now that ppl are saying maybe its different sheet, will they pay some sheets for a particular day and ignore the other sheets? If so, why? Does that mean that others will not be paid or? This whole process is somehow

I'm not too familiar with how nairaland works, the mode of typing is archaic, i will not go through the stress of coming here to give detailed lies. I find @bolded slightly insulting. For some of you, this recruitment might be a joke, but this is serious stuff to some others. Please lets be guided

First time posting on this thread, I've been following since when tp was disbursed to the first set of alartees, thereby seeing many theories. As a non alertee, the AB theory is something, I have welcomed and hoped to be true, which I'm sure is how other non-alertees must be feeling.

With regards sempumping's post. I interviewed July 9, We were 5 people slated to face the panel for 7am, we shud have been 6 but someone was absent. I made sure i got the contact details of everyone there, in summary, the first person that interviewed has been paid, the last person has been paid. They were both paid last week, I haven't been paid, someone else has also not been paid and we're in-between them on the list. So what is really happening?


Is there really no correlation between APL and TP? If there isn't, why go through this stress of paying everybody with this scattergun approach? because this method is actually more stressful and error prone than paying in an orderly manner.
