Just looking at the difficulty of collating interview scores, ranking them by state of origin and LGA, seperating candidates into different panels and now collecting candidates account info from Block D(multiple panels). Sieving through lots of paper to find candidates that were successful and pay them(or not pay them). Js picturing the practicality of it, its a lot of work and it is very unlikely that payment is related to interview performance. They could have easily asked for your account number after the interview or the panel secretary could have collected that info b4 the interview, or NNPC could av asked to fill that info online, at least it would be easier to link candidate's performance to their account numbers that way. Nobody likes stress plus this is a government company, even if its a private company, this kind of stress is unnecessary. I see some local men complaining that they got alert, lmao. Someone was saying he doesn't know whether to be happy or sad that he has gotten alert ... Please I'm happy to receive alerts on behalf of anyone that doesn't want it. Gracias.And before you ask, I'm a non alertee, July 9th 7am. I hereby call for all theories to be disbanded henceforth and we focus solely on when APL drops. Thank You, Local Man. |

talk2dace:Lol. I'm also a non alertee but at this point, if there is any correlation, that would be more likely than the AB theory IMO unless people are lying about their alerted status. Either that or everyone would be paid before APL drops. |

Eggovic:I actually understand your point tho but lets be realistic, the statistical difference is huge. If 1300 jobs are going to be distributed among 9000 candidates(estimate), that is less than 15% success rate. Now out of every 100 people that interviewed, only 15 will be successful, if you compare that to the TF alertees vs non alertees, the difference is huge, not only on nairaland, check among your colleagues, friends, other online sources(twitter and d likes), If you look closely, more people are yet to receive alert. |
If APL drops before TF has been paid to everybody, then that means there might be a correlation afterall. From my observations on nairaland, non alertees are way more than the alertees which renders the AB theory useless. So how about we take an honest poll for the statisticians to see. Nairaland is a representative sample of total applicants and some inference can be drawn. If you have gotten TFARE alert, like this post. If you havent gotten alert, share this post. Let's try and gather accurate stats abeg.. Guests can also sign up and pick... |

There are a lot of people that have travelled out and are very successful now, If you like naija so much, stay but don't try to discourage those that want to leave. I personally know people who were a waste of space in this country and are very successful today abroad.. Different strokes for difficult folks. First time posting on this thread, I've been following since when tp was disbursed to the first set of alartees, thereby seeing many theories. As a non alertee, the AB theory is something, I have welcomed and hoped to be true, which I'm sure is how other non-alertees must be feeling. With regards sempumping's post. I interviewed July 9, We were 5 people slated to face the panel for 7am, we shud have been 6 but someone was absent. I made sure i got the contact details of everyone there, in summary, the first person that interviewed has been paid, the last person has been paid. They were both paid last week, I haven't been paid, someone else has also not been paid and we're in-between them on the list. So what is really happening? Is there really no correlation between APL and TP? If there isn't, why go through this stress of paying everybody with this scattergun approach? because this method is actually more stressful and error prone than paying in an orderly manner. |
