Ogun state, one of the most unfortunate state after Abia and kogi. Ogun is even worse because Ogun is supposed to be competing with Lagos but unfortunately, evil useless and old fool corrupt government won't allow the state to progress.
Add imo state to the list

Owerri appears to be the worst hit when it comes to garbage dumps. I don't know Owerri and Aba which is dirtier

Abagworo:
Even our dear PH city is experiencing same crisis. I wonder how Ibadan, Lagos, Aba and Onitsha will be at the moment

Onitsha and Awka are like American cities compsre to the glorified villages of ibadan, akure, osogbo, ado Ekiti and Abeokuta. All the yoruba state capitals are unplanned and littered with mud houses and rustic brown roofs those state capitals should be demolished because it is a mess and eyesore.

sherlock229:
how can anyone with a brain compare Ibadan to aba or anambra whatever? all Igbo cities lack city planning and basic things like side walks, open Gutter everywhere, nothing resembling a 21st century city, Ibadan has districts that look you're somehow in Lagos in terms of infrastructure and city planning ,I guess it's due to lack of solid companies, the entire awka is plagued by flea market ,how can it look good on ground ? only Enugu look a bit better in terms of planning, good roads and clean, Anambra is an eye sore, Ibadan stomps south east even though Ibadan isn't all that either but it's more developed than any city in the south Except Lagos and portharcourt...

Gworo man, I never sought for your opinion in my post.

Abagworo:
Port-Harcourt has never been a civil service town. It was the 2nd most important city in Nigeria after Lagos and one of the most beautiful cities in Africa before the Biafran war. It was so well planned and lined with well mawed lawns and trees that it was nicknamed the Garden City. The fall of Port-Harcourt came with continued high influx of people after the Civil war till the infrastructure was overstretched. Enugu is yet to experience such high influx of people. Owerri experienced it recently which led to rapid expansion but it has not been overstretched like Port-Harcourt.

This parade for Trump happened in Onitsha. This has further consolidated the place of Onitsha on the world map. I think I saw the video here on nairaland few days ago.

Here's it.

Men your are just bitter for nothing. I don't even understand your point at all. Has any of those cuties witnessed civil war. Moreover Enugu is housing the biggest brewery in West Africa NBL and many more at 9th miles. Enugu was built again after the war by the people not the government.
Enugu is the best green city in Nigeria.

Enugu is a shithole filled with poor people and no industries. You can cry from now till tomorrow, it doesn't concern me.

Propaganda does not help anyone, this is the present condition of Agbani road Enugu, most parts of Enugu are in such a mess but someone snapped government house from 100 different dimensions to deceive people that doesn't Enugu

PoliticsRe: State Governors Should Pay More Attention To The Environment: The Enugu Example by oneeast: 6:30pm On Nov 01, 2020
Enugu is by far dirtier than PORT HARCOURT. This is TRANS AMADI road, is it this place dirty?

[s]
chipet67:
Hello, Trans Amadi Port Harcourt is a veeery dirty place to talk about okay.
I live close to Slaughter Bus stop. The dirt on the tarred roads alone can kill a fetus. They dump wastes on the road and those wastes can stay there for up to three days and even overflowing into the main road. That is what you are bringing to the world to see.

abovecomsmyhelp:
Please can you post the Skyview of Port-Harcourt with at least 100 pieces of 3 storeys building at the same location?
PORT HARCOURT is larger, more developed, more advanced, more industrialised, more commercialised than Enugu. After Lagos and Abuja, the next place is PORT HARCOURT. Enugu is far behind in that consideration, maybe 10th on the list. Mind you Enugu has been a provincial centre but all that didn't make the place to develop beyond being a mere town with just poor civil servants
PoliticsRe: State Governors Should Pay More Attention To The Environment: The Enugu Example by oneeast: 5:37pm On Nov 01, 2020
You are busy spewing nonsense. So what the OP posted is it not high brow areas that are within the government house precinct? So have you seen Achala Layout, Obiagu, Asata, Ogui, Emene, Abakpa etc, before you made your incoherent stupid comment.

As for planning Onitsha is by far better planned than Enugu, that's a fact. Google earth is there to cure your ignorance. Oh you knew this thread was about Enugu, why then did you bring Onitsha into?

If there's anyone that's a tout, it is you.

[s]
ChimaAdeoye:
b]Did you post high or low-density area of Onitsha? You can argue with yourself.gain, i don't measure d*cks with touts. Onitsha has its advantages, however, lack of city planning and a culture of tree planting especially in the high-density areas makes its beauty very difficult to see. Same with Aba. But Aba is doubly inflicted with lack of proper waste management too.[/b]b] Please post your port-Harcourt distracting pics. We are here to enjoy Enugu pics in this thread, so we skip over distracting posts here. In Port Harcourt thread, we will likewise skip Enugu pictures posted there to distract us from enjoying the developments in Port Harcourt.Bottom line, jealousy is a disease. What i love most is that none of you can change anything by denying the fact about what Enugu has managed to become despite the oppression it faced in Nigeria. It would be a better use of your time if you imbibe the best practices here to implore your governor to develop your state, than always a culture of jealousy and pull him down syndrome of Nigerians.[/b]
