We should be talking about issues here that will move this country forward. Our counterparts all over the world are moving forward, but here we are still talking about region and tribe. America elected a minority black president because he can offer something. I'm saying this for the umpteenth time, this election is not a superiority battle between Yoruba and Igbo. It's not a contest between Christians and Moslem. It's our destiny we are talking about. Just look how clinical Atiku has been since he emerged PDP candidate. Everything has been perfect. The swiftness and near independence in choosing his running mate, the Dubai strategy session, the constitution of his campaign council and kick off of his campaign. This shows a man on a mission. This shows preparedness. He has done 3 zonal rallies while Buhari has not constituted his campaign council. We can't afford "BABA GO-SLOW" again. |
I don't understand why some people are tribalistic about this election. It's very obvious that Buhari has failed but some people want to mortgage another 4 years of their life because they want their "son" to be president by 2023. Who even told them we will have a country by then?. Who told them that the chants of Biafra will not rise louder, causing unimaginable instability that will cripple any govt?. Where is their sense of fairness and unity if you exclude a particular region from presidency and still want them to be in the same country?. What we need is somebody that will unite us and make our diversity a strength. Buhari is a NO, NO, NO. Imagine a president who can't even talk or engage the people in 21st century?. |
BMC were really surprised by the low turnout of rally goers yesterday. It's a pointer that the north has finally woken. Enough of the hunger in the land. Atiku will get 70% of northern votes. I'm atikulated, are you?. |
Incoming president, I hail thee |
Buhari is actually a curse on the nation. The sooner we get rid of him, the better for majority sane people. The worst president ever |
This is a preview of the kind of senate president this dude would have been. Thank you Bukola Saraki |
Buhari has become a clog in the wheel of progress in this country. A typical sit-tight African ruler. After benefiting form an improved electoral process, he wants to derail further improvement. US, UK and the UN should pressure him before he plunges us to avoidable chaos. We are still battling Boko Haram. |
I'm sorry OP. This write-up is quite idiotic |
This must be an old article, before the arrival of Mr Buhari. Yet They say 16 wasted years of PDP rule |
Buhari will claim ignorance as usual. |
This is superb. Well arranged and engaging. You can't stop till the end. This is the best article of the year. We need more of such intellectual write-ups during this campaign period. Buhari is a NO NO NO NO NO. Thank u Iyabo. |
The world is moving. We can't get stuck with someone who doesn't know what is happening in his govt. Atiku please |
I saw renewal of facility and not a fresh loan. The loan was probably advanced before he became head of state. |
[quote author=iammo post=73484385]Wike is not a fo0l, before this rouges came back to PDP after destroying PDP cos of Jonathan. Wike and people like ffk and fayose supported PDP with money and in kind, they supported PDP even to the supreme court when sheriff tried hijacking them. Yet atiku brought dollars from no where to buy all delegates and rubbish his efforts, while a tribe started supporting them again because of an appointment[/quote A big shame. Must you bring tribe in everything you do?. |
All Buhari's taunted achievement falling like a pack of card. Lies can't prevail over truth. |
The north has everything to gain in Mr Atiku. The prospect of another 8 years than 4 under Buhari. Having your own preside when restructuring debate will be taking place. A cosmopolitan politician that will help solve the almajiri problem through education and enlightenment. A business man who won't mind engaging the services of mercenaries to assist our soldiers route out the menace of Boko Haram once and for all. For fellow southerners, Atiku is more of a southerner in outlook and business. He is one of us. That's why all must atikulate |
This thread is so hilarious. I had a good laugh. Good morning Nigeria. |
I think this is a good mix for the task ahead The work is large. But we need a face for the group. Segun should continue his wonderful work. We are atikulated. |
If a president cannot personally push his argument, he has no business presiding 180m people in a modern world. |
Another feather to your cap. Congrats great achiever. Truly Presidential. |
If it's true, then the depth we have fallen under this inept Federal government is bottomless. |
GavelSlam:If govt bought only Innoson, there must be change from the $1b. Where is the money? |
The stench of looting going on in this government will suffocate the strongest when fully revealed. The lopsided nature of fighting corruption has embolden government officials loot and re-loot. How did we get here?. |
This is risky for now . let's degrade them completely before release. Boko Haram is still potent and active |
W can't agree more sir. We will start with Mr Buhari. He is the very definition of incompetence. |
Why are they still keeping their job?. |
Very emotional my president. You are indeed a statesman in the caliber of your name sake. Rt Hon Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe. Your place in history is assured for good. Respect! |
When will my country be at the TABLE?. Never under Mr Buhari. The euphoria that greeted his election has since died that to loud murmuring. You can't give what you don't have. |
Op, don't be tired, Nigerians in north east, north west, north central, south west and south south are also searching with you in all nooks and cranny. Hopefully, we will find that heaven on earth (NIgeria). I and my family are fully atikulated. |
The presidency is not given. It's taken. Atiku, I stand. What of you?. |
Is it Fashola the bigot?. I'm out |
Security zero, Economy zero, Corruption zero. Why did we elect Mr Buhari? |
