these hotel bookings are cancellable, and people go on to make other accomodation arrangments, when they arrive. countries want tourists who hv money to spend...not those who may become a threat or burden. paris is an expensive place, 20 euro hotel would likely be a hostel ...., wch an average VO wudnt be too happy with. a 50 to 100 euro hotel booking sounds more reasonable......

if I booked hotel reservation of 195euro for 7days in Paris for my visa application in other to curt my clothes according to my size I hope it will not cause visa denied? Simply because the accommodate fees is too small, as anybody booked this type of cheap hotel before and was granted visa

Your question cannot be answered in isolation of how much is available for your stay. You can't for example book a 5 star hotel which costs about 1500 euro per night when you have 5m as your account balance. In summary cut your cloth according to your cloth.

Came back to encourage someone. First time applying for Schengen and to France and I got one month approved. I packaged my application myself based on verified information I got from here and online. Can I exit from a different Schengen country than the one I entered from?Though, in my travel guide, I mentioned places I want to visit (the Netherlands and Germany). This is after spending the majority of my stay in France. But my last destination is Germany. Do you think I can exist from there (Germany), and this action won't cost me trouble in the future?

Thank you. I submitted the following documents:

1) 3months Bank statement (Naira and Dom Accounts).
2) Travel Insurance from Cornerstone Insurance.
3) Payslips, TCC, Introduction Letter from Employer, Cover letter stating my itinerary.
4) Hotel accomodation using booking.com
5) Flight reservation on airfrance (not paid for).
6) Marriage certificate.
7) Copies of my previous passports showing my previous Schenghen visas + valid UK and US visas.
Investments, pension and property documents.

This is all I can remember. I renewed my UK visa recently, so I pretty much used the same documents.

Pls how much is the hotel reservation you use to get the visa and is how many days?

Because they said your minimum spend per day must be 65€ / days and must multiply with the number of day you want to use in Schengen state, example you want to spend 10days ur hotel booking price will 10*65=650£, so is ur own case similar to this estimate

I replied to all the questions; perhaps you missed reading some of them.

The amounts of €4.5 million and €6 million in both of your bank statements are sufficient for the proof of available funds.

A 3-month business bank statement is required, so having copies of 100 to 200 pages is not a problem. And a 3-month personal/savings account bank statement. Add the both to make your available proof of funds sufficient.

No need for explanation of this on your cover letter, "can I state that my company will be sponsored my trip with 2million Naira and transfer the money to my personal account which is the same as salary account". You do not need to make any transfer to your savings account.

Another challenge am facing now is TL cont appointment site, I make mistakes when I was filling the appointment form, where they ask if you have done biometric in the last 59months,here I tick yes,I don't no am to tick No, I wrote last date I did biometric for my last year refused visa in spain,where they ask for reference Number I put 000000 since I don't have the reference number.I try to delete the account so that I can create new one,but the delete bar did not respond, meanwhile,I also deleted the application form in the france website and I have file new application form so that I can use it reference number to create new appointment account,what can I do to solve this problem?

In my opinion, if you are willing to spend a significant amount, such as 1.2 million Naira on a flight ticket, then a hostel costing €153 total, which is approximately €21.86 per day, it might be a suitable accommodation option? Although the balance in your bank account, should be considered too.

If the visitor has accommodation (e.g., hotel room reserved), the daily expense amount drops to €65.

i.e €120 multiply by 7 days or €65 multiply by 7 days...

The minimum budget for accommodation, which must be reflected on the bank statement, is either €120 total or €65 per day. In addition to expenses for tours, flights, local transport, and miscellaneous costs.

@onile1975, bros, i have been seeing your comments on these sections. I advise you focus on building your traveling profile first, before pushing your family forward. You as a main applicant can be instrumental later on for your family's application.
Do solo trips to Qatar, South Africa, Road trip to Ghana from Lagos, Get these stamps or even visit the Safaris in Kenya.


Do this before coming to re apply for Schengen.
Alot of things are built up , everyone's case can not be same.
Some apply once for schegen and they get the visa while some apply 4/5/6 times before they get it.
So understand these techniques of visa applications and work with it.

More trips, solid home ties and paperwork can be a breakthrough for a schengen visa in the future.

Firstly they can't issue you a fake yellow card vaccination at port health. That is the designated yellow vaccination for visitors into Nigeria who require yellow card vaccination. Like i said it is #3500. Go with your passport.
Secondly i used my bank statements just write a letter of sponsorship stating you are the bearing financial costs for everyone on your trip addressed to the SA embassy.

For jobs i really don't know. I work remotely and this trip is mainly for my wife and child. Shes going to culinary school while i visit from time to time not live there for now. If you or anyone requires my help just send me an email message via nairaland. I read my mails so i would respond.
