emekatex:Okay, let's just hope our steps gets above 6. I can't wait to so promotion letter, at least make I see wetin them put for us. |
I just heard from a retired civil servant, that level 12 take home is not UpTo 100k after deductions. Pls who has heard or seen a different figure? |
The Federal Government has declared Wednesday, June 28 and Thursday, June 29 as Public Holiday to mark this year’s El-el-Kabir celebration and felicitates with Muslims home and abroad. |
gold360:This one no get source at all, e no go well. Out on social media or out say I go hold am enter month of July? Abeg add oil to your source. |
chrissoki:Why not, every promotion comes with effective date. All I know is we have been promoted to level 12. We shall also receive our payment when they want because they have failed us 2times. |
You have been promoted, stop going back to where you are no more. Very soon, promotion letters will get to everyone. |
Another Banga..... I called someone who is a top civil servant this evening. He said that until we are given the promotion letter, it's assumed that we have not been promoted. He said he has not even gotten. That within the ministry only few persons has gotten. That what happened why Wike didn't pay us was that, the current governor Sim, went and meet with Wike, begging him to allow the effective date of the promotion to be from April, Wike got angry and said it is him (Sim) that will pay it in his government. That was why it was moved to Sim administration. I felt there is a truth in his response. I don comot my mind fully on this new salary until I see alert. Pls this is only a conversation but I still believe God can do something good. |

dmercy141983:Until I see my salary, I believe everything is possible. There is nothing our God cannot do. If the pay the old one na my money, if the new one enter too, na still my money. So I patiently wait for my salary alert to tell me the final truth. Is a 50:50 chance. |
TheWatchDog:I beg to differ.... Tenures of LGA chairmen will be ending next year by may or June. Are you saying that the position will be vacant till then? No I don't believe you on this. |
Honestically:I have been looking at this new governor carefully, he doesn't look like someone who will do wonders. His talks are too weak of a governor. Uptill now, he has not appointed Chief of staff and Secretary to the government. Is going to a month now, no policy plan at all. He was silent on promotion payment or implementations. Is it every civil servant take will take or enter the bus to work? |
A zonal director and her team of supervisors came to our school yesterday. After the normal ritual of supervision has ended, we asked questions on payment. She said, it has never happened that payment will come before promotion letter. That we ought to receive our letters before payment. That currently, our letters are been typed to the best of her knowledge. Me,..... Let protocols change for our good. Am tired of this and that thing ooo. Pls who has anything different, or has someone at board, pls let's know the latest. So |
otubobo:We are on the move.... Na gist them wey de road we de gist as we move to the week of new or new salary. I no wan hear old salary ooo |
masterchi:Just look at the fat lies here, instead of saying you got a new job which enabled your transfer of service...... You willfully said you recently transfered to as if some of us are not abreast with what played out in Wilkes government. Lies de vex me, if I spot it out, I will call you to order. First thing first, you got an appointment as a lecturer and the school used her internal mechanism to facilitate your transfer. See no de wash us. Na all this your glorified lies make me drag you. |
masterchi:For those of you who doesn't know we're the disagreement started, it here on this very comment. I tried to point out the lies here where it reads " if you are done with your PhD, that your department will recommend you". Such a 21st century lies should not exist here. Do you how many did PhD in your department before you and how many enrolled for PhD with you? Rest we are happy for you and nobody can change it but no mis cap just to make it look say you de tell us wetin we know know. |
masterchi:I hope you desist from this your uncultured outburst else you will not like the response. You lied and was still lying.... You better watch your words or have yourself to blame. Nonsense. |
Some persons are here to condemn easily when people engage in constructive criticism devoid of insults aimed at helping others who needs it. Don't rush to condemn them if you have nothing to offer. Here we can't change our salaries by the comments we make but we can get information that will help us change our status by asking questions without insults. Salaries are fixed and nothing can be done to change it exist those who fixed it, but our status are subject to changes with the right information no matter how stupid you may think the information is. With all the dramas that has played out, you will notice that nobody was insulted, be it the poster or the commenters. But it has helped to guide those who need the information. I repeat, you must not want what I want despite we are all teachers. Some people have already made up their minds to retire here as a teacher while some have already positioned their mind to leave the secondary school without looking back, only looking for the right information be it here or else where. Your business must not be everyone's business, and when they argue, no put your mouth because you may be misunderstood. Salaries will come that I know, be it old or new. But we continue to pray that the new one should come. Una bye for now. |
sam1980000:Check my earlier comments, I congratulated too. Very happy to have seen that. But I tried to point it out that the comment " get a PhD and move" was not the case under Wike administration. No ill fillings here at all. |
masterchi:I don't think your response is necessary. Accept the fact that your connections helped you. Mind you, you were not the only one in that your so called department who was doing that your program. Accept simple thing and move on. Be it hod or dean or who ever. Your connection to them helped you. I just made all this point to clearify your earlier post of just get a PhD and move. Do you know how many who has PhD before you and are still in secondary school? Na your earlier post made me to explain to you on what is obtainable in Rivers State. "Let those who are helped not think others are lazy". Make nobody come to deciv anyone. |
Tekzyflex:Chairman, na u de understand am that way.... Try follow up events. No de rush de comment. Nobody de fight here. Na guide we de all look for. When you see wetin no fit de possible, no de rush celebrate am. Wike no allow anyone move. He even conducted test for PhD teachers and non moved. Make nobody deciv you. |
masterchi:You didn't shut me up and can never shut me up. You wanted to make it look like your institution recommended you, which is never true and you must have PhD before one can move which is also big lie. All the higher institution jobs under Wike were purely on who you Sabi. And all those who also moved to institutions got the job first and schools used her internal mechanism to facilitate the ease of movement. Make una try to de reduce this una lies here, we are enlightened teachers. |
masterchi:No need to make a mountain out of this. You got employed by the institution and the institution gave you transfer of service which is normal thing to do instead of resigning. Your previous message made it look as if you just moved like that. To guide you further, it was not easy to get transfer of service under Wike cos I tried it and it didn't work. Those our colleagues that moved got the job first after the recruitment process. The school now used her internal mechanism to make it work faster. It's not about PhD or not. You don't know my qualifications. |
masterchi:Congratulations. But I quite disagree on the process you stated here. There are other things which you did and we don't expect you to say it all. Because we know the state we are in and what is happening now. Simply put your connection made ways for you. Some of us have attempted and they said Gov. put embargo on it and nothing can work. So for you to have successfully made it under Wike administration, you must be highly recommend and connected. Congratulations. |
masterchi:How is the new place compared to the classroom? |
GamaG:Why are we still in this age of information in this? You have not even told what you heard nor did you inform us what may be the bottleneck to our payment. Pls let's try to communicate well not saying things capable of causing disaffection amongst us. |
MaksLove:You will collect appointment letter before biometrics now. So wait until after the collection of appointment letter, so that you will then answer the question by yourself since you don't know the one to believe |
kingsjeroneyah:The memo said those that applied for the civil service jobs, will write online text from Saturday to Sunday. That they should login to the civil service portal to take the exam. |
Pls take note

Ordinary simple post written in English is now hard to comprehend.... Kia Nigeria has finished people completely. It is the Month 6, day 13, and time 14 and seconds. Is a conversation showing the date and time. You get it abi you don't get it? |
Donebenson:Stop making people suspect your credibility. Why not introduce the business halfway and those who want and needs can then reach out to you for full details. Thought you did marketing too or you never do any course on marketing? The marketing approach you are using makes it look suspicious. |
