here's a crocheted wall hanging i made a while ago. was inspired by fallen autumn leaves.

yeah- time ryt? havnt crocheted in a while. we always seem pressed for time. sometyms i wish d day had longer hours dan 24

xtreme ur a guy ryt? wow,i dont think i hav come across any guys who knit! i'm jealous o u both though cos i only knw how to crochet n dont knw how to knit i.e usin d 2 pins. used to crochet bags,purses,caps,mats,afghan throws(to decorate ur couch with), flowers to accessorise with... not serious stuff like cardigans :-(

here tis o! lol! made it bout 4 years ago.a friend once joked that it lookd like a native doctors bag :-) love it still,specially d fringe.

TSN Nugget- sheer fabrics while being sewn may pucker or draw despite all your efforts - ds also happens wth jersey fabrics. u know doz ones d@ r light n somtyms silky? Place a piece of paper(i normly use old newspapers)underneath the fabrics and sew thru.wn u done, rip d paper off, leaving bhind perfectly strong stiches!

Here's d finished button. Pardon d bad lighting. Pic isn so clear

I twisted d rope around to form a shape like triquetra, held each turn wth natching black thread, and l8r sewed in some stones for some glitter and pizazz :-). I made 2 sets so one hooks over d other. USE: u tack onto ur clothes as fancy buttons (like d chinese buttons used for natives n traditional chinese attires n suits) workn on othr patterns n neckpieces also usn my new best friend- shopping bag rope:-)

I went 'tool shopping' by tool I min stuff I work wth - fabrics,trimmings etcetera, n came across shopping bag ropes in awesome colours(I love colour).immediately my brain bgan wrkn on wt I cld do wth 'em asi jst cld resist buying 'em. I got black,red n bright purple. Here's what I finally came up with after some hours.
U'l nid: shopping bag rope,a pair o scissors,thread,needle,n stones for beautification..
