Politics / Should States Scrap The Vehicle Inspection Office?(vio) by onoerime: 8:54am On Dec 09, 2015
Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state on Tuesday, December 8, has dismissed everyone at the state’s Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO).
According to a statement sighned by Samuel Aruwan, the spokesman to the governor, the closure of the VIO was due to the corruption and indiscipline of the personnel, and their lack of respect for the public.
Reportedly, Governor Nasir El-Rufai signed an executive order to dissove the VIO immediately.
Read the full text of the government statement below:
“The Kaduna state government has dissolved the Vehicle Identification Office (VIO). The governor has signed an executive order giving immediate effect to this decision. All personnel of the VIO are to promptly withdraw from the streets, and the permanent staff of the agency are directed to report with their uniforms to the commissioner for works, housing and transport.
“With this decision, the casual staff have become surplus to requirements and accordingly dispensed with forthwith. The permanent staff of the defunct VIO are to report to the commissioner of works, housing and transport for further instructions.
“Anyone found on Kaduna streets purporting to be a VIO from today, Tuesday, 8 December, 2015, will be treated as an impostor and will be arrested by the Police for immediate prosecution for impersonation. Appropriate announcements will be made when a replacement agency is ready to commence operations.
“Following deliberations at the executive council and the security council, the government came to the conclusion that the VIO as currently constituted does not serve the public interest. The government has noted complaints from members of the public and the security agencies regarding widespread indiscipline, misconduct, alleged extortion and disrespect to citizens by VIO personnel.
“Government is taking steps to review and reassign the functions hitherto performed by the VIO. A new structure, fitter for purpose and oriented for proper public service, will be formed and announced soon.
“While a replacement agency for the VIO is in the works, the Kaduna state government wishes to reiterate that no staff or agency of the public service is allowed to collect or receive cash payment.
“State laws prohibit the collection of cash revenues by any person, authority or organization. All payments to the government must be conducted through a bank or via electronic channels.”
i support the scraping off of this body. the traffic section of the police force can handle this.

Religion / Christains And The Use Of Contraceptives by onoerime: 4:59am On Nov 29, 2015
i wanted to pick some drugs for myself in a chemist shop some few days ago but to my suprised i met a different scenario. it was a fierced arguement between the owner of the chemist shop and a woman who wanted to buy a contraceptive drug. i tried intruding to the matter, it took about 5mins before i could dig deep into the cause of the arguement.
the lady in question, wanted to buy a contraceptive drug from the chemist man but the reply she got was " it is wrong for a christain to sell, prescrbe or for any christain family to administer such drugs". i was also confused about this comment. i want to set the table open for bible scholars, bible teachers, pastor and anyone who can back this with bible text or scriptures for us learn.do you agree with the chemist man? for me i dont agree with him. i reserve my comment. i shall return. once again, is it wrong for a christain to take contraceptive drugs?

Talabi emphasised that every subscriber who recharges with N1,000 for data will get 1.2 GB of data and not 1GB as it was before now. In addition, the subscriber will also receive N1,000 free airtime to call or send text messages to any network and N1000 free airtime to call 10 friends and family, adding that this is valid for 15 days. Politics / What Is Your Take On This? by onoerime: 8:54pm On Nov 04, 2015
The Nigerian Senate has, today, Wednesday, November 4, gone against the motion for the payment of N5,000 monthly allowance to unemployed youths in the country. The motion which was sponsored by Sen. Philip Aduda (PDP FCT) was turned down by a massive shout of ‘’no, no’’ in the house. Even when the minority leader, Godswill Akpabio, decided to second the motion, it was disrupted by another rounds of ‘’no’’.

From here I believe this question is answered. People get married because they need a life time companion.
