– Fuel scarcity is set the country again as owners of mega filling station have threatened to shut operations – Ibe Kachikwu, the minister of petroleum had directed that all mega filling stations sell fuel at varying rates of N130.00, N135.00, N140.00 per litre Share on Facebook Share on Twitter The owners of mega filling station across the country have threatened to shut operations over alleged plans by the management of Nigeria National Petroleum Company (NNPC) to impose lower pump price of fuel price on them. According to Vanguard, the Mega Filling Station Owners of Nigeria (AMFSON) at a briefing in Kaduna, claimed that Ibe Kachikwu, the Group Managing Director (GMD) of NNPC, had directed that all mega filling stations sell fuel at varying rates of N130.00, N135.00, N140.00 per litre, while their competitors sell at N145 per litre. The national secretary of AMFSON , Kenneth Nwachukwu, said: “We are kicking against a directive by the Minister of State for Petroleum that we sell fuel for less than N145 per litre. We are all marketers and we get supplies at the same source and at the same price. Why should we be made to sell at N130, N135 and N140 per litre while others sell for N145 per litre? With this pronouncement by the Minister, we foresee a looming fuel scarcity because we may have to shut operations nationwide. ” We also see fuel scarcity because some unscrupulous marketers would rather get their supplies and sell in the black market at N145 than take the fuel to their stations and this will cause another crisis in the retail chain.” “We have never seen this kind of policy. In fact it will increase corruption which government is fighting tooth and nail to stop. Some people are already bribing their way at the depots and officials there are selling to them at a price lower than the official one. These people can afford to sell at a price lower than N145. But we buy at official price and as such cannot be forced sell lower than N145,” he added. Meanwhile, fuel scarcity is set to hit Rivers and Bayelsa states as the Nigerian Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) has ordered owners of filling stations in the two states to shut down operations and join its ongoing strike. NUPENG in the zone are currently on strike which was prompted by the refusal of four firms operating in Rivers and Bayelsa states to abide by NUPENG’s policy. The firms are Hilong Engineering Nigeria Limited, Uniterm Nigeria Limited, Specialist Drilling Fluid Nigeria Limited and Fudro Nigeria Limited. SOURCE: Naij.com newsVanguard |

God has given us everything we need. Do we still want Him to come and manage it for us.? Before he was voted in , so many pastors prophesied that he will revitalize Nigeria but today where are the pastors that made those prophecies, they all gone hiding. With all the acclaimed pastors we have in this country they are unable to pray for God's intervention into this country. They either prefer to make consolation prophecies. God is watching us all |
wheter strong annoited women of God or not, biblically women has been subjected not to preach in the house of God |
There is perhaps no
more hotly debated issue in the
church today than the issue of
women serving as pastors/
preachers. As a result, it is very
important to not see this issue
as men versus women. There are
women who believe women
should not serve as pastors and
that the Bible places restrictions
on the ministry of women, and
there are men who believe
women can serve as preachers
and that there are no restrictions
on women in ministry. This is
not an issue of chauvinism or
discrimination. It is an issue of
biblical interpretation.
The Word of God proclaims, “A
woman should learn in
quietness and full submission. I
do not permit a woman to teach
or to have authority over a man;
she must be silent” ( 1 Timothy
2:11–12). In the church, God
assigns different roles to men
and women. This is a result of
the way mankind was created
and the way in which sin
entered the world ( 1 Timothy
2:13–14). God, through the
apostle Paul, restricts women
from serving in roles of teaching
and/or having spiritual authority
over men. This precludes women
from serving as pastors over
men, which definitely includes
preaching to them, teaching
them publicly, and exercising
spiritual authority over them.
My question still remains, are women suppose to teach or be pastors? |

I am so greatful with this info. A chinese man once told me that the reason we brush our mouth is to keep our teeth clean and that should be done once in a day; probably last thing in the night. Excess brush can weaken the cavity. |
Is it really compulsory to brush your teeth early morning before eating anything? |
Ladies what are your take on this matter? |
Terry68:you are correct .she is 35yrs |
Terry68:maybe you think i am baby. I am 45yrs of age. This has nothing to do with lust. I have seen and date various ladies more than you do |
I have said all to pester her and go to her family. She refused. She said it is a shame on her that in short she is not moving an inch. I cant force her to leave. I have seen so many couples staying for some years before performing the marriages rites. |
Sometimes last year i met this young lady. We love ourselves so much. Each time we are together, we find happiness. I just cant resist her so i proposed to marry her. I quickly made arrangements to meet the families in lagos and threw it open to them my intentions. They were happy about the move; i bought drinks and prepared delicious foods for the occassion. After all meriments, we departed to our various houses. Since then my fiance has decided to park her lugages and stay with me. I am not against her staying with me; the problem now is that the family in the village want me to come and pay the bride price within the shortest time. The elder brother is raining abuses on me, even threatening the sister to park away from my house. Presently, i am not bouyant enough to carry out such expenses. Please what is your advice? Should i tell her to leave or allow her to take decisions. I am really confused. |
