ICYMI: HERE ARE 5 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE FBI’S REOPENED CLINTON INVESTIGATION By: Chris Pandolfo | October 31, 2016 Tom Williams Over the weekend, The Wall Street Journal published a genuine bombshell report detailing the latest developments in the FBI’s renewed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server and the Clinton Foundation. Among the revelations are news of a split among FBI officials over how deep and aggressive the probes should go, Department of Justice attempts to inhibit the investigation, and the national scope of probes into the Democratic presidential candidate and Clinton Foundation. Here are the fast facts: 1. There are 650,000 more emails the FBI believes are “pertinent” to the Clinton investigation. These emails were discovered on a laptop investigators believe was used by former congressman and longstanding creep Anthony Weiner while looking for child pornography. According to the WSJ, “underlying metadata suggests thousands of those messages could have been sent to or from the private server that Mrs. Clinton used while she was secretary of state.” 2. The FBI is feuding internally. Investigators wanted to begin a parallel investigation into the Clinton Foundation, to determine if donors were given special access and favors, while senior FBI officials “repeatedly voiced skepticism” of doing so. “Frustrated” agents reportedly felt that FBI leadership was “uninterested” in probing the “charity.” Could it have been personal? Recall that Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe’s wife received $467,500 in campaign contributions from Clinton ally and current Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe while running for Virginia state senate in 2015. The McCabes, McAuliffe, and the FBI vehemently deny any conflict of interest. 3. There were four FBI field offices collecting information about the Clinton Foundation. Four. Located in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, and Little Rock, Ark., these offices were seeking evidence of “financial crimes or influence-peddling.” The L.A. office obtained information they believed were pertinent regarding the Clinton Foundation from an unrelated public-corruption case and had issued subpoenas for bank records. Meanwhile, the Washington office was poking around Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe financial ties as a former Clinton Foundation board member. 4.The Obama Justice Department is playing defense for the Clintons. FBI officials reportedly presented their evidence to the Justice Department in February, but the DOJ tried to shut down the investigation. Sources that participated in the meeting described the DOJ officials as “stern, icy and dismissive” of the evidence. Prosecutors from the DOJ apparently told the FBI at this meeting that they “wouldn’t authorize more aggressive investigative techniques, such as subpoenas, formal witness interviews, or grand jury activity.” When the FBI’s probe continued in line with the instructions, a “very pissed off” Justice Department official allegedly called Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, demanding an explanation. 5. This is not going to be resolved before the election. Definitely not. If they haven’t done so already, the FBI needs to obtain a search warrant for the Clinton emails, because those emails are not related to their Weiner investigation. They will need to sift through these emails, determine if they contain any classified information, review duplicates … it could be months before the we have another announcement from Director Comey. Hillary Clinton could very well be president by then. And if Obama’s Justice Department is already playing defense for the Clinton Foundation, how much more pressure will be put on investigators from a DOJ run by President Clinton? Questions abound as the Hillary Clinton email saga continues unabated with no end in sight. But the most relevant question will be answered in a week: For the first time in American history, will the president-elect be under FBI investigation? Or will voters finally put an end to Hillary Clinton’s political ambitions and abuse of power? https://www.conservativereview.com/commentary/2016/10/here-are-5-things-you-need-to-know-about-the-fbis-reopened-clinton-investigation

White House: No special prosecutor needed for Clinton email probe By SUSAN CRABTREE (@SUSANCRABTREE) • 10/31/16 3:05 PM White House press secretary Josh Earnest said President Obama does not support calls for a special prosecutor to take over the investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server now that the probe itself has become entangled in new charges and has been politicized. "No, the president hasn't reached that conclusion at all," White House spokesman Josh Earnest said Monday when asked if Obama supports the appointment of an independent counsel. "The investigation that was concluded by the Department of Justice and the FBI was a thorough one, and one that [FBI Director James] Comey has thoroughly explained," Earnest said. Earnest added that he doesn't think anyone would conclude that Comey "somehow gave short shrift to some of the questions that were posed in the investigation" based on public statements the FBI director has made. He stressed that the White House has had no briefings on the status of the investigation or its handling and he is only basing the opinion that the probe was conducted "free from any political interference" on Comey's public statements. Earnest said Obama has not spoken to Attorney General Loretta Lynch about her reported opposition to Comey's decision to send a letter to Congress last week informing them that the FBI is reviewing new emails pertinent to the Clinton email case. After Republican lawmakers made the letter public and argued that the FBI had just reopened the investigation a little more than a week before Election Day, Democrats charged Comey with politicizing the probe. Republicans in May accused Comey of politicizing the investigation by announcing that the FBI had not found enough evidence to support a criminal indictment, despite chiding Clinton and her team for being "extremely careless" in setting up the private email server and exchanging classified material on it. The legal bar for a criminal prosecution in cases involving the handling of classified material is "gross negligence." http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/article/2606087/ |

BY BEN KAMISAR October 26, 2016 - 05:46 PM EDT Trump promises ‘new deal for Black America Donald Trump called for a “new deal for black America” in a Wednesday afternoon address, as he works to bridge the gap he faces with the crucial voting bloc less than two weeks from Election Day. Speaking in Charlotte, N.C., the GOP nominee criticized years of Democratic rule for leaving black America behind, and outlined his plan to help. My “deal is grounded in three promises: safe communities, great education, and high-paying jobs,” Trump said, speaking off what appeared to be scripted remarks “Whether you vote for me or not, I will be your greatest champion. We live in a very divided country and I will be your greatest champion.” Trump called on voters to repudiate Hillary Clinton and the Democrats in favor of change. “American politics is caught in a time loop, we keep electing the same people over and over and over,” he said. “Every day, I’m out on the trail proposing fresh solutions and new thinking. And every day, the same people, getting rich off our broken system, say we can’t change and we can’t try anything new, because it’s not good for them.” The subdued and reverent beginning of his speech stood in sharp contrast to the fiery tack Trump usually takes at his campaign rallies, which are meant to inject his brand of politics directly into the veins of his supporters. “I have a message for all the doubters in Washington: America’s future belongs to the dreamers, not the cynics and not the critics," he said. “African-American citizens have sacrificed so much for our nation. They fought and died in every war since the Revolution and from the pews and the picket lines, they’ve lifted up the conscience of our country in the long march for civil rights. Yet too many African-Americans have been left behind.” Trump called for incentives to move companies into blighted neighborhoods to bolster employment, help African-Americans get better access to credit and push cities to declare “blighted communities” disaster areas to help rebuild infrastructure. He also said he'd support increasing the number of police officers in such areas, connecting a lack of officers to a rise in murder rate in major cities. But while Trump’s call focused on removing “gang-members and criminal cartels,” he blamed Clinton for promoting a "war on police.” He did not mention the accusations of police brutality by minorities who feel that they are disproportionately targeted. It’s not the first time Trump has made a direct appeal to black voters -- overtures first appeared in scripted speeches in the late summer. He's struggled to gain traction with minority voters in general in polls — he won just 20 percent of the nonwhite vote in a recent CNN/ORC poll, 25 percent of nonwhite voters in Quinnipiac University's recent poll, and 17 percent in the recent Fox News poll. Black voters were an important voting block for Barack Obama when he upset Republican John McCain in North Carolina in 2008. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/303001-trump-promises-new-deal-for-black-america#

BY NEETZAN ZIMMERMAN President Obama’s half-brother says he will attend Wednesday night’s presidential debate in Las Vegas as a guest of Republican nominee Donald Trump. “I’m excited to be at the debate. Trump can make America great again,” Malik Obama, the president’s sibling on his father’s side, told the New York Post. The 58-year-old is a U.S. citizen and splits his time between his home country of Kenya and Washington, D.C., where he has lived since 1985. “I look very much forward to meeting and being with Malik,” Trump told the Post. “He gets it far better than his brother.” Trump has also invited the mother of a Benghazi victim to be his guest at the debate. Pat Smith, mother of the late State Department employee Sean Smith, is a vocal critic of Hillary Clinton and blames the Democratic nominee for the death of her son. Clinton was secretary of State during the attacks on a diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/301675-trump-bringing-obamas-half-brother-to-the-debate-as-his-guest

Vote trump Save the world from this jihadist |
The Russians firmly deny that they had any involvement in the hacking, and so far the Obama administration has not publicly produced any firm evidence that the Russians were behind it. Perhaps the Obama administration privately has some evidence, but at this point they have not shown that evidence to the American public. So for Joe Biden to be making these sorts of threats is a very dangerous thing. The Russians are taking these threats very seriously, and they are preparing to protect their interests… ‘The threats directed against Moscow and our state’s leadership are unprecedented because they are voiced at the level of the US vice president. ‘To the backdrop of this aggressive, unpredictable line, we must take measures to protect (our) interests, to hedge risks,’ a Kremlin spokesman said, according to RIA Novosti news agency. Here in the United States, most people don’t even realize that we could be on the verge of a major conflict with Russia. But over in Russia things are completely different. Talk of war is everywhere, and the potential for war is the number one topic in the Russian media right now. Just check out some of the recent Russian media headlines about the conflict between our two nations… -“Bad News for Washington: Syrian Conflict Revealing New World Order” -“US anti-Russia rhetoric goes nuclear with threats of covert cyber-attacks” -“Who can win World War Three if it can be won at all?” -“In Contrast to Clinton, Trump Has No Appetite for War With Russia” And one Russian television network recently instructed their viewers to locate the nearest bomb shelter in case a nuclear war between the United States and Russia suddenly erupts… A terrifying Russian television broadcast explicitly told civilians to find out where their nearest bomb shelter is and repeatedly asked viewers if they were ready for nuclear war. One apocalyptic broadcast told viewers on Moscow’s state-owned TV channel NTV: “If it should one day happen, every one of you should know where the nearest bomb shelter is. It’s best to find out now.” I don’t believe that the Russians are crazy to be thinking that a war might be coming. To me, it almost seems as though Obama wants one. Could it be possible that a conflict with Russia will be used to alter, change or influence the upcoming election in November? The truth is that it isn’t going to take much for the shooting to begin. If Obama orders airstrikes against Syrian forces, the Russians have said that they will shoot back… Ash Carter has threatened Russia with “consequences”. After blowing up the ceasefire, the Pentagon – supported by the Joint Chiefs of Staff — now is peddling “potential strikes” on Syria’s air force to “punish the regime” for what the Pentagon actually did; blow up the ceasefire. One can’t make this stuff up. Major-General Igor Konashenkov, Russia’s Defense Ministry spokesman, sent a swift message to “our colleagues in Washington”; think twice if you believe you can get away with launching a “shadow” hot war against Russia. Russia will target any stealth/unidentified aircraft attacking Syrian government targets – and they will be shot down. The only serious question then is whether an out of control Pentagon will force the Russian Air Force – false flag and otherwise — to knock out US Air Force fighter jets, and whether Moscow has the fire power to take out each and every one of them. The CIA has already begun opening cyber doors, selecting targets and making other preparations for an operation Michael Snyder Economic Collapse - OCTOBER 17, 2016. It sure seems like an odd time to be provoking a war with Russia. As I write this, we stand just a little bit more than three weeks away from one of the most pivotal elections in U.S. history, and Barack Obama has chosen this moment to strongly threaten the Russians. As I wrote about on Friday, Reuters is reporting that Obama is contemplating “direct U.S. military action” against Syrian military targets, and the Russians have already indicated that any assault on Syrian forces would be considered an attack on themselves. The rapidly deteriorating crisis in Syria has already caused tensions with Russia to rise to the highest level since the end of the Cold War, but now Obama is adding fuel to the fire by publicly considering “an unprecedented cyber covert action against Russia”. Apparently Obama believes that Russian hackers are interfering in the election and so he wants payback. The following comes from an NBC News article entitled “CIA Prepping for Possible Cyber Strike Against Russia“… The Obama administration is contemplating an unprecedented cyber covert action against Russia in retaliation for alleged Russian interference in the American presidential election, U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News. Current and former officials with direct knowledge of the situation say the CIA has been asked to deliver options to the White House for a wide-ranging “clandestine” cyber operation designed to harass and “embarrass” the Kremlin leadership. The sources did not elaborate on the exact measures the CIA was considering, but said the agency had already begun opening cyber doors, selecting targets and making other preparations for an operation. Somebody should tell Obama that he is not playing a video game. A cyber attack is considered to be an act of war, and the Russians would inevitably retaliate. And considering how exceedingly vulnerable our cyber infrastructure is, I don’t know if that is something that we want to invite. At the end of last week, Vice President Joe Biden also publicly threatened the Russians… On Friday, Vice President Joe Biden met “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd for an interview that has raised serious concern in Russia. Without bothering to question the authenticity of the claims, Todd took the allegations of Russian hacking at face value, opening his interview with a loaded question: “Why haven’t we sent a message yet to Putin?” After a moment of stunned silence, Biden responded, “We’re sending a message. We have the capacity to do it and it will be at the time of our choosing, and under the circumstances that will have the greatest impact.” When Todd asked if the public will know a message was sent, Biden replied, “Hope not.” |
