shivisee: I won bets on three occasions in the last election! I mentioned about 5 places obi won’t get 25 votes in the next election, now nobody want to bet with me in the office after offering 200k.
HacheNoire: The problem with Tope is that, she is not familiar with world dynamics and her scope is only confined to Nigeria!
Towards inflation, Nigeria is not the only country being impacted!
I am glad this is an open forum where we have far and wide personalities. In the major countries where Nigerians immigrate to, be it Canada, US or the UK, same question will always trigger same answers .
$10,000 was worth much more in 2015 than in 2026 right inside the US, and same applies to Canada and the UK.
Let use an essential commodity like petrol in the UK. The pump price was averaging 104p/litre in 2015 but now 157p/litre. This reflects across all boards and even higher on some other commodities.
A brand new base Toyota Corolla in the US cost $17k in 2015, it’s now $23k in 2026, and that’s a basic car for the common man to commute. Factoring interest rate in 2015 is far behind that of 2026, you know it’s a kill
No country in our bracket is making it easy for its citizens. These are international economic forces impacting the world.
I did will accept blames on behalf of His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), that we have not moved towards self dependency. But that cannot be done in 8, 15 or 20 years? Change is a gradual and consistent process.
Our Great country has suffered from military and incompetent civilian rule. We have big challenges and why the global inflation is impacting us the most.
One thing I can guarantee is that, with the trajectory His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) is steering Nigeria towards, it’s is guaranteed the best days are close, based on the sacrifices we making today.
The pain is enormous and that I am aware and also feel, but the bigger wins and accomplishments lies ahead.
Our generation will be remembered for the sacrifices we made towards a better Nigeria.
Oga keep quiet there. Which trajectory are you talking about or do you guys think Nigerians are that dumb?
What has the so called president done with all the money he has realized economically. Money from subsidy, crude oil, all the tax he has been collecting, FIRS, Customs, Niwa Etc. Where is he investing the money, show me. Still yet, he keeps borrowing here and there. Where are all the money going to? Primary Health care in a state is getting a budget of 36 million naira for one full year. You guys must be very wicked defending these atrocities.
Is this not the same road that is built by Chinese companies who placed four toll gates on it at distant locations and they have been collecting their money back from the general public for the last 2 years?
Afonjacoward: Now that PO is no more in ADC all there battles will be over and shifted to NDC but unfortunately no matter how they try they will continue to fail because Nigerians has decided to be OK.

The people's choice is very obvious. Even a blind man can see it
This is a statement from the president of a nation.
Your enemies want to use insecurity to remove you but you are stubborn... SMH
You have the army at your disposal You have the DSS at your disposal You have all the forces at your disposal
What is stoping you from tracking these enemies of yours including their terrorists and destroying them.
Did your enemies also stopped you from putting steady light at the Jos airport you ran away from because of lack of light. Or did they ask you to send fighter jets to Benin republic to stop a coup plot while your own country is burning with no fighter jets combing the infested forests.
You should be ashamed of yourself because you have been an utter failure.
LordLicifer: He must have been guilty of one crime or the other, say he didn't commit or is guilty on previous arrests, why then would he be kept for deportation? sometimes in some cases foreign criminals can be deported upfront to save tax payers money. No need putting him in prison for 10 years and deport him after. Also Some foreign criminals agree to such choice either be deported now or after 10 years
So who do you think Would not want him to stay there? It isn't up to individuals decision who stays or goes it is the state's
Okay
Let's talk about his previous arrests, he was arrested for child molestation, sexual battery and soliciting lewd conduct. It didn't mention that he was convicted and he was obviously not deported which means he wasn't guilty.
You mentioned not wasting task payers, I personally think that depends on the gravity of the offence, maybe you fought someone indiscriminately, or you said something about the country you are not suppose to say perhaps etc.
But for a crime as grievous as child molestation, sexual battery, do you really think they will just let the criminal go, I don't think so. We have seen cases where the US would extradite criminals from others countries into the US to face the music for their crimes.
Nackzy: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah egbami ooo Mogbe... Wahala ooo.. Nigerians keep spoiling our Image Outside, they should come back home Joor
The fact that somebody was arrested for a crime doesn't mean he committed it. On the thread it was stated he had previous arrests, emphasis on the plural. Do you really think if he committed those acts he'd be released. I don't think so.
The thread also mentioned he is been kept somewhere pending removal, I am guessing it is deportation. But if he is guilty, why deport him upfront and not purnish him first.
Personally, I think somebody probably doesn't want him to stay there
Dejiskills: And she is a beautiful lady. When the internet started, many people ignored it. Today, it has created millionaires and changed lives. Now AI is here, and history is quietly repeating itself. Some people are already using it to create content, promote businesses, and generate income. The difference between those who benefit and those who regret later is simple: early action. You don’t have to master everything at once — just start learning and understanding it. The opportunity is already moving. Just an advice.
Fekumzi123: You're absolutely on point, but the thing here is the motive. I want to show him that I can send him to prison. Ordinary Flesh and blood. Turns out to be oppression. Do you know how many times vdm has boldly insulted a governor and even president? You think they cannot make him disappear? So many people have done worse and are not in prison. Childishness still dey worry that boy.
Insult and fraud are 2 different things.
One can count as defamation of someone's character and the other is a genuine crime not just against VDM but also against the society. Do you know how many have claimed he defrauded them with the same app? the same app he was able to gather users through the use of VDM's face.
He also claimed he payed his acclaimed ambassador 500 million naira which was false. Think of any celebrity you would do this against and not be sued.
People are agitating that he should be let go but we say the government is sick for releasing repentant terrorists back into the society. It makes we wonder, does Nigeria have anything against punishing an offenders and criminals?
If you do the crime then be prepared to do the sentence when caught, that is how to keep the society sanitized of criminals.
Nigerians need to learn how to drop sentiments and start thinking about a sane society. All criminals must be punished according to the law.
