Politics / Re: BREAKING: President Tinubu To Address The Nation Tomorrow Amidst Hunger Protests by Onucs(m): 7:01pm On Aug 03
Highlights of Potential speech: Fellow Nigerians, we have heard your cries. I came to power with the view to redeem Nigeria and put her on a level playing ground among her equals. It is quite unfortunate that you, the masses do not quite understand the potential positive effects of my GREAT reforms. But with time (lets say 1 year or 2 or maybe even 8 grin), we will begin to see results.

So far, the money gotten from the removal of subsidy have been put into good use in most areas that will benefit masses. As part of our effort to curb the triggering hardship, I have signed the 70k minimum wage into law. I have also approved the student loan scheme and we have started getting thousands of applications. To reduce the hike in transportation, we will soon begin the distribution of CNG powered vehicles to states and also set up around 100 conversion workshops around the country. My administration have also implemented the NDDC scheme to empower 10000 Niger Delta youths (Lol). Just recently, I have ordered the distribution of 20 trucks of 50kg rice to each state of the federation to be sold at 40 thousand per bag to mention a few.

We know that there is hunger in the land. It is affecting everybody grin. But every great success requires great sacrifice so I urge Nigerians to be patient. For those of you that are campaigning to return subsidy, I want you to know that subsidy is gone and gone forever (Otilor grin). So, let us focus on the reforms that will put Nigeria back on its feet again. Do not succumb to the ill-will of those who will see Nigeria crumble thereby destroying the little we have managed to build.

On this note, I solicit for more time because I am confident that my reforms will yield positive results. So, go back to your houses and remain calm. Expect results in no time. God bless Nigeria.

Hope for the hopeless grin

I have never touched a gun. But from movies, you can put safety on till you are ready to fire.

Do these clowns undergo any training at all?

They do but the problem is their guns are outdated and have been welded by local welders multiple times. So even the safety mode is not safetying anything grin

HenryQuest:
All the people campaigning against the protest are rich and influential. They do not and cannot understand the predicament of the common Nigerian at this time. You can’t beat a child and expect the child not to cry.

If Tinubu who is in panic mode over the protest cannot fix the problem of the country what makes anyone think he can when he is not?

Two kids of one of the prominent northern politicians that recently spoke against the protest are my neighbours here in New York. They are chilling on a regular, flexing their father’s money but their father is back home cautioning the downtrodden against exercising their civic rights in the face of poverty and starvation. I just de laugh all the poor lads on this platform siding the government. I just de laugh una.

There’s no single indices to show that this government can fix anything! Absolutely none! It’s only in Nigeria that “things must get bad before they get better”. Don’t believe anybody that tells you that crap! If you can’t improve on things the way you met them, leave it all for another!

Lol. So they could reduce the price of rice all these while, but they refused, yet making Nigerians go through so much pain. Our politicians are really wicked and heartless. How does this even get to the common man? I don't trust these governors one bit.

Does this sound like a reduction to you. What happens wen the 10 trucks distribution finishes?

This is more like a subsidized rice and when the stock runs dry, they remove subsidy once more grin

Besides the problem facing the country right now is bigger than 10 trucks of rice for one full state. Do I need to list them?

FEC is busy protesting for no protest. LMAO

Family / Re: My Daughter's Fingerprint Opens My Phone by Onucs(m): 11:06pm On Jun 27
richiemcgold:
I'm very much interested in this topic.

Scientists in the house, is it possible for a child to genetically inherit his/her parent's fingerprint?

No, it is not possible for a child to inherit their parents' fingerprints. Fingerprints are formed by the unique patterns of ridges and valleys on an individual's fingertips, which are shaped by the interaction of genetic and environmental factors during fetal development.

While genetics play a role in the formation of fingerprints, the specific patterns are not inherited in the same way that other traits like eye color or hair color are. Instead, the unique fingerprint pattern is formed by the randomization of ridges and valleys during fetal development, making each person's fingerprints unique, even among identical twins.

However, research has shown that there may be a genetic component to the general characteristics of fingerprints, such as the density and orientation of ridges, which can be influenced by genetic factors. But the specific pattern of fingerprints is not inheritable.

It's worth noting that law enforcement and forensic science rely on the uniqueness of fingerprints for identification purposes, and the likelihood of two individuals having identical fingerprints is extremely low.

How do you mistakenly send money into somebody's account or was it just a business deal gone wrong.
If you're sending through bank app or pos, the person's name is shown.
If you're sending through a bank transfer, the teller confirms the account name.

Not if you are transacting on colos, you will not see the name😃😃

Focused, funded entrepreneurship for self sustainability is a sure welcome development. However, vast majority of these to-be entrepreneurs will hit the woods sooner than they take off as far as the business climate remains arid. Plus Nigerian factor will enter the scheme and you will start hearing Chinyere Sadiya Oludayo has diverted 10billions, and later you hear that the entrepreneurs have refused to refund the grant given to them or you hear unborn almajiris, agberos and school drop outs have being enrolled in the Entrepreneurship scheme.

At the end, only a few serious minded corp members will make it.
