Even if president Tinubu uses the National Assembly to pass his Tax Reforms Bill and goes to the Supreme Court to stamp it, when he leaves office, the north shall use its undue large political representation in the National Assembly to reverse everything. If political representation is balanced through merger of ailing states in the north, or creation of new states and representative constituencies to fill the yawning gap between the north and the two southern regions, whatever other political reforms of this administration shall stand long after Tinubu leaves office.

Instead of restructuring NIgeria politically to end the imbalance in political representation willfully created by northern military dictators, an imbalance weighing against the southern regions through proliferating undue large number of states and political representation in the old Northern region, President Tinubu is ignoring the big elephant in China shop but chasing rat in Tax Reforms.
No politician living wailed more than Ahmed Bola Tinubu for political restructuring of Nigeria for about 15 years before 2013.

Who created the states. With what formula? To siphon federal allocations to a favoured region.
Northern politicians through Northern military dictators proliferated undue large number of states and local government areas in the old Northern region (19 states + Abuja).
They left a little number of states (17) in the two southern regions, as well as a little number of local people areas.
in a country formed by different regions, land mass or population figures is not used as criterion to create too many new federating units in an area of a country with larger land mass or population.
There's supposed to be more states and local government areas in the two southern regions than in the northern region. Because three regions - east, west and north - formed independent Nigeria in 1960.
The imbalance in allocation of federal allocations and institutions weighs against the southern regions, as well as the lesser electoral power and political representation for the southern regions.

European leaders started to dissolve the once multi ethnic and multi religious countries of Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall when they got to see that such countries never work at the long run.
But proceeds from crude oil and gas deposits in the Niger delta have restrained Nigeria's politicians from dissolving the most disunited and dysfunctional Nigeria.

Trains from one side cannot run on the other side. In one country!!!

The NW and SW regions have been ruling Nigeria 95% of the time since 1970.

A mild drama was captured on video involving a civilian whose car was stuck in traffic and a soldier trying to intimidate him.

In the footage, the soldier angrily approached the civilian, displaying authority and warning him to return to his car. He even threatened to hit the man if he didn’t comply. The confrontation appeared to add to the traffic congestion, possibly prompting the soldier’s aggressive approach.

The highlight of the scene, however, was the unexpected involvement of a hawker, popularly referred to as aboki (a term for Northerners in Nigeria). He was seen cheering on the soldier, seemingly in solidarity with a fellow Northerner.

This didn’t sit well with a lady in a car behind them. She confronted the hawker, rebuking him for supporting the soldier’s actions. Their heated exchange turned out to be the funniest part of the incident.
