Hope for paying back the loans? But Nigeria 🇳🇬 government has hardly embarked on projects with hopes that the loans for those projects will be paid back. The costal road project of Tinubu administration should have been a standard gauge railway lines from Calabar through Aba to Owerri through Orlu, Nnewi to Onitsha to Asaba to Benin to Ibadan to Lagos, the most travelled route in the south of Nigeria which can repay the loan for its construction after a few years.
It's like NITEL building modern Digital telephone exchanges in Gusau and other sleeping towns but left Aba, Onitsha and other commercial and populated southern cities with Analog telephone exchanges. NITEL collapsed shortly after.

Yes you heard it right. It is the states that come to bail them out every month. As in every freaking month. That is the reason why since 1999 every state has been the one taking care of its LG. Before then LG used to owe salaries and pensions and everything..

The solution to this is let there be true restructing and the states in charge of their resources. In this way,they will be able to take care of the LG the more not all these giving LG stipends that cannot even take care of salaries not to talk of capital projects
