helinues: What exactly is there to be discussing about the 2027 election that conducted itself before the main election. We are only waiting for the formality
I remember immediately after the winner of the 2023 election was confirmed, the political moves towards the 2027 election started immediately
That the Senate position should be ceded to SS, that both SS and NC should be looked after and if possible pampered, today both region governors are all in Apc.
So if the Apc started their own political moves immediately after the 2023 election, who are the so called opposition to take power from them when they are even yet to settle down in a political party
When you even read the confident in which some of the opposition supporters use to argue about their candidate winning even when the preparation in less than a year to the election is not yet there, best is to just stop arguing with such set of people.
Serious politicians are preparing for the 2031 election which the proposal could be North Central/ South South ticket. All figment of your imaginations. It's free. But may your household be like what APC did to people in Nigeria. |

Nice2023: AS A a WOMAN, HERE ARE 10 MEN YOU MUST NEVER MARRY:
1. A mummy’s boy.
2. A Yahoo boy.
3. A man who is more than 7 years older than you.
4. A man who has been divorced at least twice.
5. A man who demands 50/50 in finances but refuses 50/50 in chores. 6. A man who wants you to get pregnant before he marries you.
7. A man who supports APC, this present government.
8. A man who despises his mother, no matter how evil she is.
9. A man who has no voice of his own and constantly seeks validation from others.
10. A man who has no space of his own and still lives under his parents’ roof.
Above all, love God. Wow Number 7 is supposed to be first and foremost. Anyone who wholeheartedly supports APC must be a heartless fellow. |

seunmsg: Like I said before, ours is to ensure the country is governed only through the constitution. Governing according to the Constitution of Nigeria entails that the present government of Nigeria arrange for abrogation of unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system in the 12 far northern Nigeria states. Abrogate sharia criminal justice system in the 12 far northern Nigeria states, is the condition the US government has given. The Americans know that the adoption of unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system in the far north of Nigeria is the genesis of the insecurity in Nigeria. |
Politics › Re: Nuhu Ribadu Visits JD Vance And Marco Rubio by onuman: 11:53am On May 09 |
seunmsg: Sharia is part of Islam. Nobody can tell Muslims to drop Sharia. Ours is to make sure we govern the country through the constitution alone. What people practice in their mosques and home is their business. The country cannot make a law banning sharia. That would amount to religious intolerance. You feign ignorance of the fact that Nigeria's Constitution supports only Sharia CIVIL LAWS, but prohibits Sharia CRIMINAL LAWS. Sharia criminal laws include stoning blasphemous persons to death, (eg, the Sokoto student, Deborah, stoned to death), stoning women to death for adultery, (eg, the northern Nigeria woman now on exile in Italy after condemnation to death for adultery). You feign ignorance of the fact that the Islamic terrorists in Nigeria have said it severally that they are fighting for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws. |
Politics › Re: Nuhu Ribadu Visits JD Vance And Marco Rubio by onuman: 10:17am On May 09 |
WizardOfNG: Can you listen to yourself? Do you even understand Nigeria? How can transformational leaders get into positions to transform Nigeria if they don't have the pragmatic wisdom to make choices that can allow them gain the support of the majority to get into those positions?
Ribadu should "start renunciation of Islamic Sharia criminal justice system adopted by his northern Nigeria's far north states" and he will be supported by which Northerner exactly to get into the position (perhaps Presidency) he can use to deliver real change to the North?
The facts in the public domain has always marked out Ribadu as a moderate Northerner. Yet he cannot isolate himself at home, in the North, acting as you suggest. Leadership is different to followership.
If you can think as a leader must, you will understand the challenges. It's you who doesn't understand Nigeria. Nigeria is a secular state. Nigeria's Constitution recognises Sharia CIVIL laws but not Sharia CRIMINAL laws. Therefore, adoption of sharia criminal laws in the 12 far north Nigeria states compromised Nigeria's Constitution. It effectively divided Nigeria into two sections. If Nuhu Ribadu cannot convince the leadership of the sharia states to renounce sharia criminal justice system, how does he hope to convince the Americans who gave the condition that Sharia CRIMINAL justice system must be abrogated in Nigeria? |
Politics › Re: Nuhu Ribadu Visits JD Vance And Marco Rubio by onuman: 10:02am On May 09 |
seunmsg: The last 3-4 weeks have been hell for terrorists and bandits all over the country. NAF has been bombarding them from the air while NA have been finishing them off through ground operation. The collaboration with the US has really been helpful especially in accurate intelligence support. The two countries should keep working together to sustain the momentum. The US gave a condition: drop Islamic sharia criminal justice system.
Nigeria bombs but ignores the root of the Islamic terrorism in Nigeria. The root is: Islamic sharia criminal justice system in the far north of Nigeria. Sani Yerima introduced unconstitutional sharia criminal justice system in Zamfara state when he was gov of Zamfara state; and it quickly spread to 11 other far north Nigeria states. Shortly after that, Boko Haram emerged and says it's fighting for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws. Bandits are offshoots of Boko Haram. Armed Fulani herdsmen share the same objective with Boko Haram and the political leaders in the Sharia states who adopted and stick to use of Islamic Sharia criminal justice system, despite the US conditions that they renounce Sharia criminal justice system. Since the political and religious leaders of the Sharia states adopted sharia crimimal laws, the difference between Boko haram and the Muslim population in the 12 Sharia states, is like the difference between six and half a dozen. |

PDPdestroyer: Obidients will be very sad with this development Let Nuhu Ribadu to start renunciation of Islamic Sharia criminal justice system adopted by his northern Nigeria's far north states, the adoption led by Ribadu's Fulani group from Sokoto Caliphate . It's not enough for Ribadu to lobby Americans to ignore the Christian genocide in Nigeria following the Ribadus' adoption of unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system. |
