press9jatv:
The authentic APC Chairman in Rivers State is back Chief Emeka Beke.

Appeal Court Affirms Sack Of Okocha-led Rivers APC Exco

Tony Okocha is backed by Wike.

The Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt has upheld the judgment of the Rivers State High Court nullifying the congresses that produced the Tony Okocha-led executive of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State.

The appellate court, in a ruling delivered on Friday by Justice Elfreida Oluwayemisi Williams-Dawodu, affirmed the earlier decision of Justice Obomanu of the Rivers State High Court, who on December 20, 2024 declared the APC congresses in the state invalid.

Tony Okocha and members of the dissolved executive had approached the Court of Appeal in Suit No. CA/PH/523/2024 seeking to overturn the High Court judgment.

However, the Appeal Court dismissed their appeal and sustained the nullification of the congresses that brought the executive into office.

Next shall be Tinubu throwing Wike under the bus.

Wike has nuisance value in every association he belongs to.
Celebrities › Re: How Did Peter Okoye’s Retweeted Post Mock Victims Of Oyo Kidnapping? by onuman: 2:12pm On May 30
Penguin2:
One thing I have noticed about Tinubu supporters, especially most of those of his ethnic stock, is the fact that they would rather look for silly things to diffuse attention to rather than say the truth and hold government accountable.

Since the Oyo kidnapping happened, not once, I mean, not once has this people called out the government for its failures. For heaven’s sake, even in our constitution it is stated there that the primary responsibility of government is security. It is when people are secure that you will build infrastructure for them. It is a secure people that will stay alive to enjoy the benefits of a repositioned economy; since that’s the only thing Tinubu supporters have accepted he achieved.

However, rather than hold Tinubu accountable for failing on this basic task of ensuring security for his own kit and kin, his supporters are rather looking for who posted what, and who retweeted what?

And I ask… the posts you are vituperating about, are they wrong? Or you simply hate hearing the truth?

Now, to the post you people are saying it’s mockery of Oyo kidnap victims, how is it mockery because I can’t see it?

Peter Okoye simply made a post recognizing people’s right to choose their preferred candidate to vote but stated however, that everyone will be held accountable for their choices and that choices have consequences.

Now, someone responded in agreement to him and attached the pictures of the Oyo Kidnap victims plus other victims of mass slaughter by bandits as a direct consequence of the choices some people made in 2023.

Now, I ask, where is the mockery?

Is Peter Okoye wrong to state that choices have consequences?

Or the respondent who attached pictures of victims of banditry wrong to attach those photos as a direct consequence of the choices some of you made in 2023? Is it not?

We had different candidate who dwelt heavily on how he was going to end insecurity and ensure that every inch of Nigeria is accounted for but you dismissed him and went for someone who didn’t even say anything about what he would differently from the Buhari administration regarding insecurity.

Now, people are telling you that everything that has happened in this country since Tinubu was sworn in 2023 and the things happening now, are all direct consequences of the choice you made in 2023 and you dare call it mockery?

Is it mockery or you’re just too dishonest to accept the truth and make amends?

And what I find most heart wrenching is that Obembet who made that post is supposedly a MOD on this platform which is pathetic.

I will conclude with this…. In 2014, prior to the 2015 general elections, over 200 children were kidnapped in Chibok, Borno State. Tinubu, Buhari and all their lackeys championed the “Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG)” campaign against the Jonathan government until it became a global phenomenon drawing the attention of Michelle Obama and other American celebrities.

Was that act mockery of the Chibok girls or genuine outrage and desire for a change of administration to someone who could do better?
Repositioned economy? No way.
PBAT rather destroyed the economy of Nigeria
But his ardent supporters who are mostly ethnic choristers don't want to accept the failure of Tinubu government.

Are the bandits and kidnapped now in Mars?

What is happening to Nigeria?

After all the money spent on paying police and soldiers...

In a real country that has only three policemen, these bandits would be trailed in their hideout, the bandits would not even get the opportunity to kidnap these people.

[quote author=CampusAi post=139532493]Good day Nairalanders, Parents, and Students.

There is a highly disturbing 48-second video making waves across social media right now, and it has sparked a massive debate on the state of discipline and moral standards in Nigerian secondary schools.

According to the reports and viral clips, a group of final-year SS3 students were caught on camera actively grappling, clashing, and allegedly fighting with adult staff and teachers outside an unnamed secondary school.

The video clearly shows intense physical altercations, with some of the adults trying to defend themselves with canes while the students aggressively push back.

As expected, netizens are completely divided on this:

One side is completely disgusted, calling for immediate mass expulsions, arrests, and total prosecution of the students involved for utter disrespect and physical assault.

The other side is questioning the teachers' methods, arguing that extreme, toxic corporal punishment or provocation might have pushed the students to a breaking point where they decided to violently fight back.

Let's talk about it: Where do we draw the line between maintaining strict school discipline and pushing students to the point of violent resistance? If you were the principal or the parent of one of those students, what would be your immediate action?

]]

Within the time this video lasted, in a normal country, police would have been there.

Nigeria Police is trained to guard the tenure of politicians, and money people, not to protect the lives and properties of citizens.

You wrote that Tinubu is ready to support Atiku, but not Obi.

Why?

Because for a presidential material that can deal a death blow to insecurity and hyper corruption in Nigeria, Atiku and Tinubu are like six and half a dozen. Both are compromised and not in the capacity to deal a death blow to Nigeria's insecurity and official hyper corruption.

Obi is in the position to deal a death blow to insecurity and hyper corruption in Nigeria.

He can criticize the government all he wants... but Nigeria is dead is a weird thing for a public figure personality to make in public.

People ought to be careful with their public utterances... especially public figures. Its hard to see people from other nationalities make such comments of their country no matter how bad the situation is.

There are other ways he could have criticized and said what he said... it's called tact.

Nigerians are some of the only people that denigrate their country in public even to outsiders and it all boils down to patriotism!
What matters to one about one's country is being happy and secured in one's country, not how big or rich one's country is.

Because Nigeria is in Africa, that's why the imperialists watch as millions of innocent people get killed in Nigeria since 1914 due to the inadequacies of having Nigeria as one country.
If Nigeria's in Europe or even Latin America, the Western nations would have since called for division of Nigeria into more manageable countries.

By the way, how do you feel about a section of Nigeria adopting and practice unconstitutional sharia criminal justice system in a country of plural religious faiths?
