Ask people of Imo West Senatorial district what they have passed through with APC governments since 2013. The zone has got nothing from the federal government. It is the most underdeveloped among the zones in the southeast region. Worse, government infrastructures built by former governments in the zone have been destroyed by unknown elements.

Everything about Boko Haram terrorism in Nigeria is shrouded in secrecy. One of the earliest demands of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Mohammed, appointed by then President Muhammadu Buhari, was for Islamic sharia criminal justice system be included in Nigeria's Constitution. Buhari said in 2001 that he would not relent until Islamic sharia criminal justice system is applied in all the states of Nigeria.

At the outbreak of Sharia wars in the north of Nigeria, a BBC female Reporter asked Yerima if he didn't see that his Sharia criminal justice system would lead to break up of Nigeria. Yerima has been a free man while those who resent belonging to Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal justice system are branded terrorists.
In Nigeria, truth has been replaced with falsehood as Islamic religious extremists occupy important government positions.
