“Lastly, let me join you and everybody in condemning what is not right like the physical attacks on a number of people. But we need to understand that nobody is innocent in this circumstance.” This statement alone is enough proof that Fayose is unabashedly depraved. According to him, the voter who wanted to just exercise their franchise but got attacked by MC oluomo thugs in Lagos or Peter Mbah thugs in Enugu is as guilty as the thugs that attacked him. |
edungene7:You are shameless to admit so quickly that Mbah has 'sins' but still expect a sane person to support him. Enugu people don't worship criminals, and clannish mo.rons like your kind who are vigorously trying to force a known criminal on Enugu people because he is from your village will be put to shame. Enugu people voted for Chijioke Edeoga because he's a fearless gentleman with zero record of criminality and has stood up to the criminal Ebeanọ gang in several occasions, and we are hopeful he will get back his mandate. |
edungene7:You are actually stupid if you are really in Enugu and support a criminal like Peter Mba to take charge of your state's treasury. Or, haven't you read of how he made his money? Or you also didn't read about how he used thugs to disenfranchise voters across polling units in Enugu East? |
He |
Massiveglory:Peter Mbah is a criminal who made money looting Enugu State with Chimaroke, and so, it's a failure of imagination to compare him with Chijioke Edeoga who nobody has accused of stealing their one kobo. The little votes Peter Mbah got were from his irredeemably clannish Nkanu folks who have deep sense of entitlement to leadership positions in Enugu East senatorial zone. The remainder of his votes were from the PDP structure of criminality which is driven by thuggery, vote buying, and violence. Enugu people didn't, and will never vote for criminal Peter Mbah against Chijioke Edeoga. |
pandax:I commend your diplomatic tone, dude. But I refuse to accept the looting of public good as a normal thing. We all can't be shouting we want Peter Obi because we believe it's an incorruptible character like him that can put this nation on the right trajectory, but when it comes to my own state, I start wanting a Tinubu-like character who became wealthy from crime, and now uses the proceeds from crime to buy thugs, INEC officials, and security operatives, to force himself on the people. A criminal who became wealthy from looting my state's treasury can never be the right person to lead my state. Enugu people never voted Peter Mbah. Enugu people won't accept a criminal as their leader. |
You failed to mention the fact that Peter Mbah, who was a broke, fresh graduate before his appointment, floated an oil firm worth billions immediately after his bout as Chief of Staff and Finance Commissioner under Chimaroke Nnamani. Worthy of mention is the fact that he was docked severally by the EFCC for stealing billions during his reign under Chimaroke. Everyone in Enugu knows Peter Mbah is a criminal, and we will resist him and his ebeanọ criminal gang if they continue on their plan to force themselves on Enugu people. We voted for Chijioke Edeoga and the LP, not the dwarf criminal who can't make a full sentence in Igbo language. |
pandax:Nweke and Mbah are the same class of criminals who were nobody before their brother Chimaroke Nnamani invited them to come and join in looting the treasury of Enugu State. They are better than nobody, talk more of a seasoned administrator like Edeoga who nobody has accused of taking their one Naira. Peter Mba helped Chimaroke loot Enugu State to the ground, used his loot to float an oil company and then started answering a successful entrepreneur. Stop comparing a gentleman to a criminal unless you are one of the dishonest sods feeding fat from his loot. |
Ebeanọ will never return to power in Enugu State, and if they force themselves in using INEC, Enugu people will resist them to the last Enugu man. Peter Mbah, the dwarf criminal want to use the wealth looted from Enugu treasury to come back to power and resurrect the culture of thuggery, political assassination, clan supremacy, and treasury looting. Enugu people voted Chijioke Edeoga, not the dwarf criminal from Owo. |
Why congratulate a winner in an obviously rigged election? Is vote fabrication part of the game? And is the right of voters who were disenfranchised by ravenous PDP thugs not of importance? Peter Mbah was a nobody before Chimaroke Nnamani handed the treasury of Enugu State to him. He has now used the loot from his first bout to rig himself in as a governor-elect. His history is completely that of someone who thrives only on illegalities. Enugu don't deserve a criminal like Peter Mbah as governor. |
Peter Mba is a criminal who helped Chimaroke loot Enugu treasury, and then used the loot to float an oil company and started calling himself a successful entrepreneur. The same criminal has now returned, and in the trademark ebeanọ style, used thugs, voter intimidation, and financial inducement to rig himself in as the governor-elect. That's criminal. Enugu will never bow to a criminal. |
Tareq1105:LP already won Enugu State. The votes Peter Mbah fabricated in his village will be cancelled either by INEC or by the court. We won't tolerate such brazen criminality in Enugu State. |
Kam2021:Nobody said Isi ụzọ people are Nkanu people. The issue is that Isi ụzọ people are in Enugu East Senatorial Zone, yet Nkanu people think Isi ụzọ people are not qualified to represent the zone because of their cultural affinity with people with people of Enugu North zone. That's discriminatory, and all reasonable minds won't allow that to stand. |
signz:Don't get your hopes too high lest you be disappointed really quick. Edeoga has all the attributes of a rebel who isn't afraid to take on anybody, but I have not read or heard of any revolutionary ideas from him. Coming into office, my guess is that he is going to focus on obliterating the remnants of PDP in Enugu State, but not too much on obliterating poverty, insecurity, and poor public infrastructure. Have you noticed his signature dressing and how all the ranking LP officials and candidates in Enugu State have long copied it? Dude has all the Jagaban vibes even before coming into office, and it remains to be seen how all this will affect the lives of ndi be anyi. He might be great or he might turn out terrible; but he's not Gburugburu kind of person. In fact, he is the opposite of Gburugburu. He is not a preacher of love. As for his communication skill, I will have to disagree with anyone who gives him a poor rating. Maybe it's his spoken English that is in focus here because the Chijioke Edeoga I have listened to waxing lyrically about his achievements in Igbo is nowhere near being a bad communicator. In fact, he is far better than Peter Mbah whose awkward mixing of Igbo and English could best be described as retar.ded. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:This is actually why we should all make sure that the ruling PDP loses the coming governorship election. I'm not one of those who want to claim that one or some of the candidates might be more capable and competent than the others. I'm not even rating them based on the so-called 3Cs because it's obvious they are all cut from the same cloth. The defeat of the PDP will revitalise politics in Enugu by making it more competitive. There's a reason folks with proven capacity like Barth Nnaji refuse to contest, and I think it's because they believe they are bound to fail if they aren't backed by an Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi or a Chimaroke Nnamani. So, if we can enthrone a new administration against the wishes of these powerful idiots, then we have elevated the position of individual character and capabilities in choosing a leader for our state. This looks simple in the surface but it's seismic and will guarantee far-reaching results than our heavily biased individual assessments. |
oilykid:Are you in Enugu at all? Because there's no way you would be in Enugu and claim that Nweke and Mbah have been going around engaging Ndi Enugu than Edeoga. Such claim is very unfounded because Edeoga has been to all wards of Enugu State, unlike Nweke who has been burning campaign budget on Twitter influencers who have never been to Enugu State. Just say you prefer Mbah and Nweke to Edeoga because of some dodgy clannish considerations. Unfortunately, majority of Enugu people are going to elect Edeoga as the next governor by next weekend. |
Each time I go on Twitter and see some paid goons who know nothing about Enugu pushing the candidature of Frank Nweke, I'm forced to contemplate on the amount of misinformation forced down the throat of an average netizen everyday. Nobody knows who the hell Frank Nweke is, and nobody that I have met is considering voting him, so who the hell are these dudes all over SM telling us that he stands a chance? Do these guys really believe that their barrage of tweets, which has nothing on the interests of a local woman in Adani, can influence who they choose to govern their state? Either of Chijioke Edeoga or Peter Mbah is going to be the next governor of Enugu State. Anything aside from that should be treated as a distracting joke. |
This is rubbish. The nonsense they are doing is not the electronic transmission of votes they promised us. |
Tinubu nairaland supporters are the most unthinking BATstards in the whole universe. Peter Obi is winning in all the states we expected he will win, and even doing well in enemy territories, yet these these brainless irritants are celebrating sharing the votes of the core north with Atiku and Kwankwaso, as we rightly predicted. What exactly are these mo.rons celebrating? |

Still doing propaganda at this hour? Atiku supporters are clowns. |
It happened everywhere. I have paid transport for 5 people today because they came to wrong polling unit and didn't have the tfare to get to the right one. |
Neither Tinubu not Atiku will get 25% of votes in Abuja. Obi's win is going to be landslide. |
Freedom is coming tomorrow |
Obi will win, with or without the votes of the malevolent bigots. A new Nigeria is POssible. Vote LP |

Real contenders are meeting voters in the streets and urging them to vote for them. Clowns like Atiku are shopping for irrelevant endorsements from corrupt oldies. |
Edeoga who was a calamity in is time as commissioner for environment with no track record of viable achievement is now a saint because he is running for LP even Edeoga knows he can't make noise
