PointB: Saying Lagos is "No man's land" does not in anyway means we are neglecting the East/Homeland. The idea is to maximize the benefit of Lagos to develop the East.
We must not lose sight of our contributions in Lagos, yet we must capitalize on the gains of those contribution to develop our homeland. We can't just pack up and leave Lagos, nor can anyone run us out of our investments in the growth Lagos. That's why we say "Lagos is No Man's Land." And that's what it will remain in the foreseeable future if Nigeria continue to exist as it is now! This are your investments in Lagos

koning: Because the Eeediot that posted this thread is NOT an Igbo person. He is a Yoruba man who can not handle the "Lagos, no man's land" issue. He is scared that the Yoruba's are losing Lagos.
Igbos will and should invest where ever they are comfortable. Go to many Igbo villages, you will see mansions that nobody lives in. Igbos are building mansions in their villages that are nothing more than vacation houses or funeral homes. Because most will only come there permanently when they are dead. I know many Igbo men in their 70s still living comfortably in their houses in Lagos. IBO's are building mansions . Mansion is all I see

I have asked myself what exactly is in Lagos that make IBO's run mental over it. I also imagine how envious iboes will be if Lagos was as beautiful as Tokyo, new York, Toronto, e.t.c. There was a time when Lagos had a winsome look. That was decades ago. What exactly is making Iboes obsess themselves over Lagos? Why can't they return the trillions of investment they own back to their land? If they do so, I don't think they will cry marginalization again. Look at how ugly and disorganized their land looks. Yet they have the audacity to insult Yoruba land.

This is iboland. Where the developers of Lagos hail from. The way IBO's make noise, you will think iboeland is Dubai or new York. Even though we are aware of Yoruba people's enormous contribution to Lagos development, you hardly hear Yoruba people claim to have done that. Yoruba people are not obsessed with Lagos like IBO's are. We also don't care what goes in Abuja like Iboes do. We are proud of where we come from. This is iboland. I wonder why they can't develop their land like they did lagos. Looking at the pictures below, one might ask why they insult Yoruba land.

Despite how densely populated iboland is, you might have expected iboland to be fully developed....or at least, having 50 percent of their land developed, but it is surprising that iboland is not different from the average Nigerian town. Iboland is very poor. Just look at this picture and count the number of brown roofs there
