I didn't say they couldn't try it. I only said that it won't work so it is a waste of time. Lagos is a mega city so yes comparing it to homogeneous Igbo towns is silly. The only reason they get away with it is because the South East has few immigrants.

Lastly multi cultural has nothing to do with who owns the city. Regardless of ownership it is full of non indigenous people. Attempts to preserve culture are good and they are welcome to try doing so, it is just unlikely to have any real effect.
If it won't have any effect, why then are your people crying? The law is here to stay. I expect ibos to support this law since it will help split Nigeria more. Afterall, they always agitate for a seperate republic.

Ibo man, you don't need to trouble yourself over this law. Sebi una want make Nigeria seperate? Don't worry, we are getting their. Don't give yourself heart attack. Tell your leaders to also follow suit.

I speak for a large number of Igbo people when I say we have Nigeria fatigue. We are sick and tired of this failed colonial contraption and want to try new things.
I am not against your Biafra agitation. In fact, I wholeheartedly support it, afterall, I am also an ardent proponent of a seperate Yoruba republic( Oodua republic). Sensible people know that Nigeria is a enormous shithole that won't develop and that it is a waste of time. But I don't think your Biafra agitation can make any stride unless your leaders support it. Do you think your Buhari would have had that guts to send military to practice python dance in your land without your leaders approval? Or do you think he would have done that if your leaders( governors, house of reps and so on) were vociferously in support of Biafra? Of couse not!!! Why, it will make the agitation more popular and serious. Buhari won't have sent military to your region if your leaders were not consented. Or if your leaders are not effiminate or weak men. Buhari could do that to the South west exept Ekiti state - and that is if our leaders accept it( they will because of same political party).
The main point here is that you elect leaders that support Biafra. That is what I can say

They are only trying to blackmail the Yoruba people to support the Biafra agenda. They believe it is a done deal if they can have this people to support them.
Bro, it is not even about whether Yoruba support it or not. Of course, not that Yoruba people don't - many in this forum have and repeatedly said they support it, but I doubt they are sincere about leaving Nigeria. None of their leaders have come out to support it, and the ibos don't seem to care. Obiano said he does support it, and yet ibos elected him for a second term. Just recently, another governor from their region refused to ackowlegde it, yet they will still vote him the second term. But imagine if it was a governor from the west that said all what governor Ikeazu of Abia state said, they would have ran amok and fulminated him. This is why everybody have doubts about the sincerity of this agitation.
The truth of the matter is ibo people don't care if Yoruba people don't support it. Assuming Yoruba leaders speak out to support it nko?
Ibos will other excuses again. They can even say our politicians 'are now' supporting it because we have been marginalized and left-out by the Fulani led-government.

Are u drunk? I am not that moniker u mentioned. I just want to take this opportunity to refute that claim.

As for the other trash u wrote, welll, they are typical Afonja attempt at dodging the bullet.

Referendum is not rocket science, Nigeria calls election, they should call referendum for Biafra.

Britain did it for Scotland.
Britain did it for Scotland after Scotland asked for it. The Scotish people through their representatives asked for referendum. But this is not what ibos are doing.
Letusbepieces, I will repeat what I said. If you guys are truly sincere and serious in leaving Nigeria, you meet your representatives. But just like the prof Sagay, I doubt you guys want Biafra. Biafra agitation began after your favourite candidate woefully lost the election. Since then, you have been propagating hate towards Yoruba( Tinubu) and Buhari. You are bitter about that loss, hence, you insult people who don't follow your logic. You hold this rancour towards them. You always revel when your see or hear some unpleasant happen to other tribes that did not vote for Jonathan. I have notice that every ibo person that support Biafra hate Buhari and loves Jonathan. Why is that? I guess it is because of that 2015 election.
If you want Biafra, meet your leaders, or vote people that support your agitation.
Many of you bitter losers called ibos must acknowlegde that people are unapologetic about voting Buhari in.

Stop pretending. This is the type of thing that only Yoruba can dream up.

No other ethnic group is that bereaved. The desperation of yoruba men to impose themselves on Igbo women is now pathetic and hopeless that everybody is talking about it.
Like I said, it is because you are deluded this is why you think so. Yoruba people marry more from other tribes and people from other races. The relationship between Yorubas and Eboe is minute compared to other tribes. It is because you come an ethnic group that suffers from delusion, this is why you will keep holding on to this . You come from ethnic group that is dogmatic and hold on to things that are not real. An ethnic group that believe they are Jews. People that believe they make up 60 percent of Lagos population. People that think they are the most beautiful and always talk of how people admire their beauty even though it is a lie. The same tribe that believe they are the most intelligent black race. They believe they are the best thing that happened since slice bread.
Mr man, listen and listen good. The relationship between your people and mine is very small compared to our relationship with other tribes. I have seen more Yoruba-Hausa or Yoruba-Edo marraiges than I have seen Yoruba-Eboe.
Your people should stop obsessing over my people.

Yoruba men and women date people from other tribes more than they date Iboes and this is a fact.

Politics / Re: Northerners, What Is The Plan Of The North For Nigeria? by oodualover: 9:43pm On Feb 20, 2018
ItsMeAboki:

as an individual I obviously cannot speak for the north.

However,I can gladly tell you what I wish for the north.

I agree with the call for the disintegration of this country and for the north to go its own way; because I have come to the sad realisation that we have been forced together with very dishonest co-travellers who revel in hate and espouse selfishness.

I hope for a future where we in the north do not have to share the same passport with those who continually bring dishonour to our collective identity; where every Nigerian is seen and treated as potential criminal.

I crave for a north where I would be confident of buying medical drugs, spare parts and other products without fear they were fake or adulterated in order to make someone (who already hates me) rich at a risk to my health or personal comfort and convenience.

I crave for a north without the imported immoralities and criminality of prostitution, baby factories, human trafficking, armed robbery, kidnapping, ritualism, cannibalism etc; which were erstwhile alien or minimal in our region.

I crave for a north free from a people cursed with innate hatred for others based on differences in tribe or their religion; who have no tact or diplomacy and feel they have a monopoly to insult and disrespect.

I crave for a return to a north where the fear of God, decency and respect for self and others are in the core value of our culture.

I am hopeful of a north where my ppl would continue to be contented with the honest living they make out their farms or trade, without the compulsion to die mummified in the Sahara desert or at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea as fish food, and sold as slaves in transit in Libya; in order to reach Europe so as to fulfil a life ambition of becoming a dish washer, road sweeper or taxi driver etc. to the white man or otherwise end up as despised thugs and criminals from this country that shamefully populate the prisons and death rows of Europe and the Americas.

It is my dream to be free of the ppl who contribute little but regard others as lazy and parasites.
This is very good. Let the country split. We are all tired of each other. If only we have more Northeners like you, Nigeria would be a thing of the past. The country must split so everyone will develop at their pace and comfort.
