Afam4eva:Trust me, we Yorubas are beginning to match your folks in that 'aggressiveness' department. For too long we merely dismissed the pouting of the igbos as a reaction to the inferiority complex they still feel as a result of losing the civil war but now we better understand that it's all calculated to win sympathy and eventually achieve dominance over other Nigerians. Hell no! Now it's fire-for-fire. The igbos are the ONLY ethnic group in Nigeria that whines like a b*itch and create trouble everywhere they go, but now it's getting irritating and I for one PRAY you all get your own f*ocking country. God speed that day. |
GboyegaD:Even if he apologizes, the flattheads would not be satisfied. They want his head at the end of a suya stick. Jokers dem be. All na hot air. |
fkaz:No o, they should keep on protesting jo. This whole rubbish is leading somewhere -- their declaration of the much-touted biafra republic. God speed that day. They need to get their own country so we can all rest and hear word and be rid of their trouble-making/rabble-rousing lot. |
tinuolababy:Yimu. They will beat their chests like Kingkong as usual, and nothing will happen. Awon ebi/family Kingkong. All na hot air. |
Sai baba! |
He's fine, no need to worry. You will be seeing more than enough of him after his swearing in, for the next 4 years at least, by God's grace. |
Mogidi:Dis your hatred for any positive news from the progressives camp may drive you mad at this rate Mumugidi |
Only a fool will argue with okorocha's submission. Obviously GEJ and his band of looters have been bandying about phantom figures about a 'healthy' economy under the false premise that his reelection was a done deal, that way they can keep cooking up figures that exist only in Okonjo's mind. But they lost the election and the truth is out about how they systematically destroyed the economy. They have even started exposing themselves. |

No-brainer. We warned them then against resorting to such dirty tactics but their footsoldiers were having a field day celebrating Ait, ffk and fayose's acerbic attacks at Buhari and the APC leadership, rather than focusing on the issues. Thank God Nigerians rejected that style of campaigning else it would have set a terrible precedent for future elections in this country. |
These guys still don't get it that the election is over so campaign don end ![]() |
akinegba1:You are a useless IGboman. Be proud of your race instead of hiding under a Yoruba handle. You are just as empty and cowardly as your hero Agbari ojukwu ![]() |
Henry22:Yeah, he was do great that he ran off like a bit.CH to the ivory coast while the unfortunate souls he led to war were starving to death and dying like flies. A great coward you mean. ![]() |
AlfaSeltzer:Perhaps if you hear it that enough times it'll finally sink in, and you and your folks'll quit making a f*ool of yourselves. |
AlfaSeltzer:Your bitterness won't resurrect those wasted 3-million Biafran souls. The Yorubas are not your problem, look inwards punk. |
AlfaSeltzer:I consider those lives wasted simply coz nothing was achieved on the Biafran side -- they lost the war and they lost 3-million souls, for what? ? ? |
AlfaSeltzer:You must be under-20 yrs old or something to compare the unprecedented passion, the pomp, the grief, and pageantry that greeted Awo's burial to Ojukwu's. Go and ask your elders so they can enlighten you on that. |
kastonkastrol:Thanks for educating him about how an Igbo man, in the person of Ironsi, dismantled the whole regional gov't apparatus, upon assuming power as the beneficiary of a coup largely led by Igbo officers of the Nigerian army. Some of these folks think the rest of us are stupid. |
chigo93:Back to sender. |
BuddahMonk:Tell that to the useless igbo e-goat that joined NL just yesterday with a Yoruba handle to open this thread. At least he should have been man enough to use an igbo I.d. |
BuddahMonk:Unlike you f*ools, we were strategic in our resistance during June 12 and pick our battles carefully. We only fight battles we can win. Awo realized Ojukwu was a fraud hence his alliance with the north instead of u losers. And what do you have to show for those 3-yrs? 3-million wasted lives. |
akinegba1:You are a liar! No true Yoruba son would utter that statement about Awolowo therefore I refuse to believe you are Yoruba. In fact you are a bas*tard, an Igbo e-rat using a Yoruba handle, your handle was created yesterday to create confusion on here. I can smell your kind from afar. Omo ale. |
eazisky:Only a f*ool will compare Ojukwu the coward, who initiated a war he was ill-prepared to wage, to an Awo. The same Agbari-Ojukwu that sacrificed and wasted 3-million of his kinsmen in a needless war, only to flee at the last minute to ivory coast. Obviously they haven't learned anything from that misadventure. The chest-beaters should unite and return to their region in peace so they can have their Biafra peacefully. Then we will take them seriously. But if they start any shyt like the last time, there will be no mercy on them this time around. |
BuddahMonk:You flatt heads are a bunch of cu.nts. When are you going to do the needful and declare your Biafra? Bloody cowards. Perhaps you all should go and resurrect Ojukwu to lead you on another suicide mission. We know you hate us (Yoruba) and frankly we don't like you either, we're merely tolerating your whiny behinds. Sorry losers. ![]() |
SmartChoices:Indeed he was terribly misunderstood. However, I think it's fair to say, at this juncture, that Tinubu's recent political ascendency in the SW region somewhat exonerates SLA's political pragmatism during his time as Premier, with respect to his (SLA's) alliance with the Ahmadu Bello led NPC -- an alliance borne out of his desire to take the Yoruba into the political mainstream on their own terms -- a position/alliance Awo was largely unwilling to consider and that consequently cost him his lifelong political ambition of ruling Nigeria. |
SLA was a great Yoruba son. In spite of his unfortunate fallout with Awo, his love for and devotion to the promotion and protection of Yoruba interests within the Nigerian context was never in doubt. RIP |
What a waste. And to think the tragic war could have been avoided. Smh. |
spongeisback:Dayum! See finishing. |
Lol. In short, PDP needs to claim some form of "moral victory" to massage her bruised ego. It's allllll good! Try and enjoy life in the opposition y'all. ![]() |
All na hot air.
