This thread is very interesting. I was one of those Yoruba that used to believe Igbos were the richest and most industrious people in Nigeria until i starting seeing things. There are many industrious Yorubas out there that dont make noise. Igbos dont have 20 percent of what Yorubas have. There is a reason why many Igbos are in Asian prison.
Trafficking drugs does not make u industrious. Only lazy people do that.
Igbos own nothing!
They are noise makers!

For me, this thread has reinforced my belief that Yorubas don't need Igbos for ANYTHING! And I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! We don't depend on them for food, clothing (we have our own tailors and we actually rock more traditional/ankara/Aso-Oke fabric with pride), footwears (we get our own shoemakers brekete), entertainment (no contest), industry (no contest), just name it. THEY are the ones that mooch off of our region, invading our space for sustenance. Omo, Naija can't disintegrate fast enough abeg. Those parasites gastu go!! angry

Kai! Adunola House is an Architecture who designed in collaboration with Pieach limited he is not the owner of the building stop deceiving your poor people who don't know how to use google, same way you claim Architect Oluwole Olumuyiwa owns Eko hotel, Eko hotel was designed by architect Oluwole Olumuyiwa in collaboration with Americans it's owned by Chagoury Group

You this Obiano houseboy, why are you so dumb? When will you quit acting a fool? You couldn't even coherently disprove its ownership. A building goes by the name 'Adunola (a Yoruba name) House', yet you are here trying to contest its ownership without any shred of concrete evidence to the contrary? It's not 'Okeke House', neither is it 'Obiano or 'Okorocha House', but Adunola House. I know that in your typical fashion you must have done some digging in an attempt to disprove its owner's Yoruba affiliation but you were disappointed, only to come here to embarrass yourself , talking about some fictitious collabo with Pieach Ltd which happens to be the architect of the edifice. When will you ever receive sense you this foolish boy? You are a disgrace to yourself and the igbo ethnicity you represent.

Adeyemi Ajao, the Nigerian Born Mark Zuckerberg of Spain Sold His Social Networking StartUp, 'Tuenti', to Telefonica for $100million dollars

Nigerian born Adeyemi Ajao been described as the Mark Zuckerberg of Spain. He is regarded as the first African ever to sell his startup for $100 million on August 4, 2010, when Telefonica took controls of 85% of Ajao’s Tuenti, an invitation-only private social network site for students and young people in Spain. Tuenti popularly called “Spanish Facebook” was started by Adeyemi Ajao at 22 and four of his friends. Tuenti has over 14 million users and is the largest Invite-Only network in the world.

Tuenti, which in Spanish comes from "tu enti[dad]" meaning your identity, sounds like Twenty in English. It is rated as one of the fastest growing social network sites. Tuenti features many tools common to social-networking sites. It allows users to set up a profile, upload photos, link videos and connect with friends; recently a chat application has been added. Many other utilities, such as the ability to create events, are also offered. Unlike similar social network sites which feature banner advertisements, Tuenti has opted out of these traditional forms of "noisy" and obstructive advertising.

Zaryn Dentzel, one of its founders and current CEO, stated that they intend to focus on Spanish users more before possibly expanding to other countries.

Adeyemi Ajao was born in southern Spain to a Nigerian father and a Spanish mother.

Adeyemi earned a Masters in Finance from Emory, a J.D. from ICADE in Madrid, and an MBA from Stanford, and graduated at the top of his class at each university. He was elected one of the “Top 100 Spaniards of the Year” in 2009, and was invited by the U.S. Congress to the Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama as a representative of the Spanish Commission for Accomplishments in Entrepreneurship.

Adeyemi’s father was one of the first mechanical engineers in Nigeria, who started a steel company in Nigeria. He saw his father fought hard to put his company together, but unfortunately didn’t make it in Nigeria, and left for Italy.

Ajao the Co-Founder/CEO of Identified has also launched other successful innovations such as Cabify, an application for hiring of vehicles with driver via mobile under the slogan "Move with style." Cabify requests high-end vehicles with professional drivers using technology, to bring consumers the luxury. You can ask about one of your cars from any device, be it a mobile phone, a computer or tablet. The user receives a notification with information about the designated driver, model and license plate number. On the screen of your device, you can see how the vehicle looks and can even contact the driver if needed.

If Nigeria had created Lagos in Igbo land, Dubai will not even be considered as a match.

But why must you people wait on Nigeria to help you turn your region to Dubai? Yorubas were able to single-handedly build the first skyscraper in sub-Saharan Africa in the early sixties amongst many other firsts, without FG support. Till today no single building in the entire SE and SS can match that Cocoa House edifice in height and elegance 50-years later. After the Lagos and Abuja CBDs, no other CBD in Nigeria can match Ibadan's up till today (as attached below). Why can't you people demonstrate flashes of greatness like we Yorubas without depending on the FG?? Common 2nd Niger Bridge your people can't even come together and build it without FG. Smh.

Yinmu. First of all Labour Party stands no chance in the upcoming election. Secondly and more importantly, igbos should forget winning any elective position in the same Lagos they wish so much evil on this same forum. We Yorubas are unanimous in our support for their Biafran aspirations. They should concern themselves more with that agitation coz we sef can't wait for them to get their Biafra where they can rule themselves. Lagos is not part of Biafra.

True that. Ariwo ko ni music. We no dey make empty noises like some people. We believe in brain over brawn -- In a fight, it really is brain over brawn when it comes to which contender will come out tops. Our collective achievements as a people attests to this.

What do dimwits from Wasteland know aside feasting on amala and Ewedu concoction?

Igbos travel to your Lagos to take advantage of the visionlessness, docility and gross ineptitude of your docile, parasitic Yoruba people. About a century ago the Europeans competed amongst themselves in trooping to Africa. The same reason Igbos go to Lagos.
That's business acumen and economic expansion at work!

Frustrated cretin and rapscallion from a juju-infested enclave, the reason the Chinese, Lebanese, Indians, Americans and Italians troop to other parts of Nigeria is to create opportunities and conquer the land.

It takes a determined and industrious people to leave their immediate environment and venture into a distant land and conquer it. A bunch of parasitic creatures would rather lazy around in their neighbourhood and depend on their parents for their survival.

Demented and treacherous backstabbers and never-do-wells, go fill your tummy with a bowl of the sh1t you call amala.

Everybody on this board knows your antics as a frustrated ipob e-tout so this will be my last exchange with your sorry behind.

It's obviously that it's a big source of pain to you and ilk that Yorubas (and indeed your own kinsmen who refuse to invest in their regions) refuse to run in droves as you almajiris are known for. It's also no secret that within Nigeria, Yorubaland is the closest thing to 'London' to an ambitious igboman; it is akin to a land of opportunities and milk & honey (as America and Western Europe are to the rest of the world) coz we have an enabling environment filled with boundless opportunities, and one that fosters and promotes success and freedom.

Yorubas within NIgeria are akin to the Americans, the Western Europeans, the South Koreans, and the Japanese who don't feel the need to travel outside their regions for greener pastures except for tourism purposes (even though we have our people spread out across the country, but certainly not like you vagabonds) coz really what could we honestly want from the SE that we don't have in abundance in the SW?? Is it Land? Is it a big enough market? Resources? Tourism? For goodness sakes your own people are leaving your region in droves. It's the poverty-stricken Eastern Europeans that you see migrating and running to the more affluent Western European countries in droves in search of greener pastures, opportunities and prospects of a better life. Yorubaland can appropriately be likened to Western Europe within Nigeria, while the SE is the .... I'm sure you get the gist. wink cheesy

Your region is the LEAST populated in the entire country coz for the same reason we refuse to move over there in droves, you lots are also leaving that hell of a place in droves! That's the brutal truth and you know it! You had better direct your frustrations at your leaders who are obviously not doing enough to stem the tide of your almajirism coz this your habit of coming online to attack Yorubas will not birth your Biafra for you o. Hian!
