Deep Sight: And let me sound a warning here loud and clear before I go off to my brunch. No one should dare post pics that they are not sure of. I say this because of the several cases of so called ape fossils that have been found to be 90 per cent artistic reconstruction and about 10 per cent bone and teeth only.

Teachers; I am giving you the space: teach well!

I am sorry to say at this point: please do not take this as arrogance. This is a subject I have read widely on since I was a child. I am shocked that the species that you should actually have mentioned are featuring nowhere in your posts so far! Or is it because you are aware of the critiques?

Lunch now!
deepsight, i need to know, shall we focus on fossils or on randomness of nature?
Christianity Etc › Re: Evolution For Simpletons by ooman(m):
The superficial theme in nature is that nature, with all its "designs" must be controlled by some sort of intelligence. Indeed, some scientist held this view, until more light was shed about the structure of DNA.

The DNA revealed that life forms can transit and YES do transit from one form to another without the "compulsory" need of control. This change is termed mutation - It is inherent in the nature of DNA to make mistakes. Most of this mistakes are harmful, however, some are beneficial, leading to a new protein function. More of this change accumulate leading to new species - This process is termed Micro evolution.

Study also revealed that mistakes such as non disjunction of chromosomes can also lead to a "quick" evolution of new species from an ancestral one. RECENT Example include xenopus leavis, tympanoctomys etc - This type of evolution is called Macro Evolution, meaning large change at once in contrast to Micro evolution that needs time.

Also there are divergent, convergent and parallel evolution. Indeed, evolution is so broad to be an abstract.

first premise against intelligence influence - Mistakes are inherent nature of DNA - An omnipotent intelligence cannot /is too perfect to make mistakes. Contention against it is that we have been able to make INFALLIBLE DNA.

Second premise - Morphologically, there is superficially, not to talk of thorough scrutiny, NO sign of intelligence in control of nature. Everyone will agree that IN THE WORLD WE OBSERVE, SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST IS THE RULE OF THE GAME.

I will stop here for now, make sure you understand and take your questions
Christianity Etc › Re: Evolution For Simpletons by ooman(m): 1:13pm On Mar 02, 2013
to begin with, here are currently found transitions between Apes that led to the great ape (us)

i will post some lecture on randomness now!

Christianity Etc › Re: Evolution For Simpletons by ooman(m): 1:08pm On Mar 02, 2013
Deepsight, since you already avow to believe evolutionary theory but disbelieve in randomness of nature but rather believe in intelligence control of randomness, i will not therefore start afresh with you. Also, i do not really think that you need much evidence of evolution anymore since you have stated that you believe something must always evolve.

The point, therefore, is not in proving that "things" evolve but in proving that nature is totally uncontrolled by any intelligence. Is this the stance you take? If yes, then you are a theistic evolutionist, typical of a deist?

Pls answer the above question so i may know where to begin with you, an idi.ot student!

Ihedinobi: I see you're still fully employed making your whining threads. There are more Christians than atheists boohoo... Get a life, dude. Your whining is growing stale.
Of course there are more xtians than atheists, that is why our world is screwed.

alfaman2: It is good that you realised that you are an id.iot here. So I will answer your question. There aren't any intermediate fossils.
To understand me better I wiil need you to answer this similarly id.iotic question for me: "where/who is the intermediate relative between you and your cousin?"
Or the intermediate link between him and his mum, since they are different from each other and he came from her.
There is equally no evil in good
Actually, there is evil in good. There is a little evil for a greater good. The xtian god often employ that technique.

this is the picture i promised, the proof of our evolution from same ancestor with the troglodytes

Deep Sight: Plagiarized? That's funny.

Please I will appreciate pictures. They are really easier to see and understand for slow students like myself, thanks. Pictures (and the sources) of intermediate fossils. So that if you gather enough such pics here, you can always use this thread in future as a bank to refer others to, who ask similar "plagiarized" questions. Cheers and thanks.
My pleasure. Evolution is quite explicable with pictures. I "pray" I get to my PC soon. Amen.

Deepsight common, this plagiarized writeup of yours is old and settled already. Will post answers for you soon when am back on my computer.

Why the xtians always love to give the atheists a hard time in failing to understand simple scientific logic, you were challenged by a muslim and you all ran off for lack of logic to engage a muslim in a harsh debate.
a thread was opened "bible get cosmology completely wrong" and no xtian was present to defend your so called perfect book as it was completely debunked by a muslim.

Well, I did that for you, not because the bible did not get its cosmology completely wrong, but because the muslims were implying the koran got cosmology completely right.

I think you guys should spend some energy engaging the muslims. Dont tell me you are afraid of defeat.
here is the link to the thread

Reyginus: I wish you understand the consequences of the above. Let me follow this angle a bit. Even when the nature of the reactants are considered it doesn't bring the reactants to extinction.
In the fission reaction of uranium-238, two products are formed with the release of energy. Thorium-234 and alpha particles, surely. Certainly, and by implication, what you're trying to say is that radioactive uranium-238 no longer exists because a sample of it was involved in the nuclear reaction that produced thorium, alpha p, and the emission of energy. In other words, uranium as we know it, has been used up in our universe. Even if it is a nuclear chain reaction, the set-up will only affect those uranium atoms involved. My question (following this path) now is, how can a local nuclear reaction erase all uranium atoms from our cosmos?
Knowing the half life of uranium is the solution to your plight. Dont google it, read a text book, its important.

davidylan: All these and yet you fail to answer the simple question? Is it perhaps because you dont know the answer?

Let me ask another... where are the intermediate species of the torglodyte divergence to sapiens?
Could you not read answers from my previous post.? Dont tell me you dont understand them.

Ever heard of australopethicus, orrorin, habilis, erectus, afarensis, neaderthalensis etc about more than 20 transition species have been found, will post full list later, its clumsy typing on phone.

Reyginus: Anything can be invalid when you're asking the wrong question. The right question is, why don't pan genus and co metamorphosize to homo genus anymore? What happened?
And please, before you use any mother and son analogy to illustrate any point, you must be sure the mother and son are characteristically similar. I can equate your point to saying that the question: 'if my mother has a hunch on her back why do I stand erect?', is invalid.
Ah! So much for our educational system
We are all modern animals. We evolved from same ancestor. That is why.
Christianity Etc › Re: On Wiegraf's Signature : If God made humans from mud then why is mud still here? by ooman(m): 8:57am On Mar 02, 2013
davidylan: I asked a simple question... why are there still apes that have not evolved at all to homo sapiens? Very simple question... you dont need a 4-line ad hominem to answer.
Oh david, your signature is wrong, you aren't saved yet, you are still a sinner. Your comments always bleed insult which is sin.

Evolution of sapiens is a process that is billions of years old, you dont get to have a precis.

Having said that, there are still apes BECAUSE WE ARE ALL APES AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, WE ARE ALL MOSERN ANIMALS. Sapiens diverged from ancestor of the troglodytes some 2 mya and even earlier from ancestor of the pans.

Evolution is not a one way thing because it is an uncontrolled process.

Present examples include polyploids like leavis and barrerae.

seyibrown: Oh, please, don't try to equate the mud-man/ape-man analogy to a ape-man/mother-son one! Sleep aint death! Creationists wouldn't ask the Q if yuo could show us an Ape that really gave birth to a human being!
Am using phone, once I get on my laptop, I will paste pictures davidylan should be able to interpret, that will explain how we came from apes, even though you may not accept it, but its standard proof of evolution.
Christianity Etc › Re: On Wiegraf's Signature : If God made humans from mud then why is mud still here? by ooman(m): 8:44am On Mar 02, 2013
davidylan: Technically we are all still apes... but quite CLEARLY some apes are more intelligent than others. why?
David, do you have your PHD yet or still pursueing. I meant no insult! Just asking.

I like your question, though its disappointing its coming from you, I thought you should know better.

First I would like to ask you, in your own terms, what is intelligence biologically?

Heart breaking, maybe to you, but I find no difference between bowing for antichrist or christ himself, people must have the right to worship anything and anyone.

Ok

V 1-4 seems self explanatory enough!

V5-11 can be understood when read along with Rev. 17v3-6, then further.

I DIDNT MEAN SHE IS GOOD AND PERFECT FOR YOU. I only meant that WHAT YOU SAW IS WHAT YOU WANTED IN YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS. NOW IT DEPENDS ON YOU TO PURSUE IT OR LET IT GO. Also that the idea of marine creatures is false. THERE ARE NO MARINE CREATURES.

Ah, Frosbel, you got it wrong

Head of church (True or False)= President: Jesus Christ. Vice President: Pope

1. World Power and Politics - POPE? YES. JESUS? YES (King of the Jews, remember?)

2. War and Pillage - POPE? YES. JESUS? YES (battle of Armageddon)

3. Saving lives - POPE? YES (Charity). JESUS? Half YES (unproved promises of eternal life)

4. Wealth - POPE? YES. JESUS? YES. He had everything he wanted, remember when he got a penny from the fish's mouth to pay his tax and when he pirated fishes to feed 5000 men.

5. Reverence for God Almighty - POPE? YES (directs people to Mary, who direct people to God) JESUS? YES AND NO (Both direct people to God and himself -remember this verse- I am the way, the truth and the light. NO MAN GOES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT BY ME.)

6. intimate perversion. POPE? YES (Although the Pope gives absolution to sinners and himself). JESUS? YES (According to Gospel of Mary Magdalene, Levi said Jesus loved Mary more than all other disciples. Philip said he used to "Kill her on the mouth"-Gospel of Philip)

7. Mary - POPE? YES (Prays to her). JESUS? NO ANSWER (we cannot prove or disprove Jesus does not pray to her!)
