However, Yorubas are a homogeneous, not a diverse race. I do not think we need to federate Yorubaland when we have our own Oodua country. Instead, we should opt for a provincial arrangement with a strong willed, iron fisted and purposed centre just like the Japanese and the Koreans.

Ok back to the basics, Nigeria is not a failed project but one of the major problems is what you have highlighted up there. This is happening coz in Africa, what we have are strong men and not strong institutions - so the stiff/unhealthy competition or arbitrary use of power is inevitable.
