Romance › Bride Refused To Say "I Do" by Openair(op): 3:10pm On Oct 12, 2024
Hello Nigerians, this is actually the first time I witnessed such a thing.
So, during the church service, the wife refused the say "I do"
Omor it wasn't funny, the groom was trying to cajole her at first but baba begin dey raise voice ooh na so pastor caution the guy to shut up. Her bridesmaids and her people begged her shaa but madam refused, instead she started crying.
There wasn't anything official shaa but word on people's mouth is that the supposed groom dey beat and maltreat the girl....
I was actually surprised the way pastor handled the whole situation, he acted like a father would and was really supportive, people rallied round the girl...omor it ain't easy to come out to say "I am a victim" but she did it. Kudos to her and kudos to Pastor, na man you be.
The thing turn sermon for women to speak up instead of going into abusive marriages, you may not come out alive...
Nigerians really tried oooh we still love one another even in this situation, omor see support shaa...
Anyways I didn't go to any reception again, we ended up having a long church service and I headed home from there, I no know how dem do the food ooh😅
For the groom and his people, they left in shame, the guy dey form hard guy but his mom cried, I pitied the woman shaa, dem go go sort their family wahala...pastor don charge the boy to dey come church now oo...who knows if him go cum...and they did counselling ooo, I no know why dey still went ahead with it all.
Funny enough, I came back to Lag cause of wedding...I no see food chop but I carry my gift come house back. The girl is actually member of our church shaa (maybe that's y the support)

Ajeh,na now i get you senior man. But if you be struggling nigga guys go hardly dey put body or dey reason your mata...chai this life ehnn. Later when you blow dey go come dey expect mek you remember them.

The best thing for any hustling nigga be say always remember sey your guys wey "dey with you" no really want make you progress or no believe sey you go progress,so once everywhere set forget everybody papa. Dey own your own and make new friends wey dey your level.

No forget to jazz up your otumokpor because some of them go vex and go wan bring you down sey you get pride .
Boss, Those one wey dey for you when things dey low dey for dem too. But the ones wey just dey with u but no send u no send dem too

Badmashiii:
Senior man i no understand o. Abeg help me explain this your quote. I sure say we plenty wey no grab am.
Boss, for instance, cause say u and person dey suffer together or dey area together no mean say if e set for am tomorrow him go remember you ooh. Look well, na only those guys wey put body for you make you dey put body for. Guy wey no put body for u no put body for am too, simple and short. Look well, forget say na same area all of una dey, even same house sef, if him no put body for u, no put body for am too. Na why some guys go dey regret say upon all dem do for so so person he still loose guard dem...look well that ur last card wey u dey think say if u no give so so person him go die...guy him no go die, think am well, na u lose ur last card so, cause if table were turned that guy no send u.

Giving is good and all ooo...if u dey give only those wey send u, u go still receive blessings...na strategic giving dem dey call am, that's why d rich mainly give themselves, dem understand the OT

huh

Instead of distracting her publicly, why don't you call her and her families and let her know the reasons you are no more interested in the wedding, instead of that stupi.d public display...

Not supporting a cheat, but there are ways to handle matters..

If you disgrace her publicly, you will also disgrace yourself and your family...

All these kids, wey dey marry self
He ain't disgracing himself and his family too, just she and hers.

Lithiumite:
The naira has been devalued simple, Nigeria isn't the first country to do so......do you even have any idea how dollar rates are determined.....past govts have been spending huge sums to defend the naira that's why you have been getting the seemingly low rates we had in this past but this low rates have been more of a disadvantage to our economy because we do not appreciable production capacity......low rates lead to high import demand for even things that has no value to the economy thereby encouraging consumerism.

The currency now devalued has discouraged importation and forcing more people to look inwards for local alternatives where necessary.....this will make imports more expensive and make exports cheaper there by encouraging production......so that 1,600 you see is actually the real value of the naira and not the artificial 450 u had been used to in the past.
Not expecting them to keep buying the Naira like the last administration did. But the hurriedly put together policies and reforms didn't cut it...
