YellowSimba:How Biafra referendum will go, i don't know... So currently now i am not feeling anything i am only curious of how you will get the federal government to conduct a referendum for Biafra... |
MetaPhysical:Before the colonial era, our empires and towns still enjoy sovereignty.. The tradition was the constitution then. They exhibit vital features of a sovereign state; they have their own military, they have their own structure of government etc. The military protect their territorial integrity and they are lead by the monarch. They stopped being one immediately after the British invasion...our territorial integrity was breeched ... We no longer make the decision.. |
YellowSimba:Brexit isn't about freedom... European union (i mean the rest of the countries in EU) benefits from United Kingdom and United Kingdom benefit from them as well... This is more like a mutual benefit... People only clamor for freedom when they are in slavery. In the case of Brexit. It's more like a divorce Brexit is more like a contract termination and you know contracts are bounded by agreements.. Even the case of Biafra can not be likened to that of the United Kingdom because every nation in the UK are bounded by an act that is boldly represented in the constitution therefore can be separated by same act in the constitution... In the case of biafra there is no constitution binding the regions... Our constitution was created after the amalgamation in 1914... So we started as a sovereign state together. The major issue now is simply because none of the regions exhibit total sovereignty before amalgamation. This is the major reason while any advocacy for a breakup can be treated as treasonous by the federal government |
Nope... They are two different thing... One was a voluntary union with very great prospect and explainable reasons... While the other is a union based on our colonial masters selfish interest to bring their colony into a union |
lexy2014:If the mother of the kids are white, then there is nothing to special... It means their mother's gene is dominant and father's gene is recessive.. Just like the case of kim k and kanye west... Their baby north west is white. |

Kenshinmunac:One crazy thing about pride is that... You will think you are the humblest of all.. And you will get angry and give excuse at every slightest pronouncement of the word against you.... This is what i have to say about the topic... I think she should be the one running in the relationship not you... You are not better than a dictator.. The lady in question might have her own shortcomings no doubt... But from your story it's looks like you want a subordinate not a partner... The best of respect is not given because you deserved it.. It's given because you earned it.. |
What should we call this?... The real big boys are those one their glory reflect on the people that surrounds them.. He might be driving an expensive car but he his living in abject poverty of the mind... |

Global warming is real, it's here.. The sun is getting hotter, the breeze is getting warmer.. One of its major effects is erosion.... It's a pity that most illiterate and literates are not even aware. They quickly attributes the change of weather and climate to God instead of facing the reality on ground and everything our government can do is to criticize and celebrate mediocrity.. The kind rain wey go fall this year... If u are living close to ocean or river sha go and learn how to swim... |
Satan66:These people's death will be a honorable one compared to the one that will befall your household... Fool with fish brain.. We belong to humanity first before any race... |
Satan66:Are u for real... Your moniker is even better than u |
The only thing i learnt was that i could be this happy over what doesn't add value to my live |
Printerscanner:See what sentiment has done to you... In sane climes the president doesn't have the sole power to remove or suspend the lowest ranking lawyer or judge... But it is a pity that the so called judiciary has been moving with the pigs and they got there cloth stained with dirts. |
bettercreature:It still baffles me what you learned throughout your schooling... True democracy means the three arms of government are independent of one another in decision making... It is so for check and balance... |
Grass root corruption like this are what affect the masses most... Politicians are not the only one corrupt.. Please what did you think we should do as a friend and a mate.. We just graduated from a university which i will not mention for now.. My friend just got to realize that a mistake made on his result computation since 300lv was not effected after he complained about it then and the exam officer told he had made the necessary changes.. Now the senate of our university had approved our results and clearance for NYSC has started... The guy met with the HOD but he said at this point nothing can be done only if we want to put lecturer that took that course in problem. The question is... Why does my friend has to suffer for the mistake made by one lecturer by paying another school fee, attending class, writing test and exam for the sake of a course he passed with a "B" grade...? What do u think we can as a friend and also a student of the same department...? |

In this life, i guess we will never see it all... A pastor during a deliverance session for a woman was seen putting a call across to God on his mobile phone. From the video the pastor was heard asking if he is actually speaking with heaven's "customer care"... "is this heaven? , is heaven?" he asked... Watch the video below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHeRWngacdc |
You can't give what you don't have... Govern them with love for humanity first.. Be4 you talk about the fear of the God you have not seen.. |
Most Nigerians don't even remember water cooperation exist anymore... It's hard for any Nigerian to pick state water supply as an option in his house... Though i enjoy stable and clean water supply from ogun state government at Akute area its been more than a year now.. |
This one should shut up.. This "yeyebrity" lacks intelligence and simple understanding.. My parents aren't my role model and nothing is wrong... I love them they love me too.. I chose my role model according to my dream and career... |
I think Nairaland is old enough to start using sophisticated antispam filter.. Banning this people is not effective at all.. See how they flooded the front page with spam post... You guys should contact me and let us talk on how to combat this spamming of a thing with artificial intelligence... |
He spent 39 years in prison for a double murder he didn't commit, now he is 21 million richer... Craig Coley, 71, spent almost four decades in prison for murders he didn't commit. Craig Coley never should have spent 39 years in prison. On this, everyone seems to agree. They also concur the 71-year-old should spend the rest of his life as a wealthy man. Simi Valley announced Saturday it would settle a federal lawsuit, giving Coley $21 million for his almost four decades of wrongful incarceration in the 1978 murders of Rhonda Wicht and her 4-year-old son, Donald. Thirty-nine years is the longest prison term overturned in California, the city says. "While no amount of money can make up for what happened to Mr. Coley, settling this case is the right thing to do for Mr. Coley and our community," City Manager Eric Levitt said in a statement, adding that going to trial would be costly and irresponsible. Often, the wrongfully convicted face lengthy battles over how they should be compensated for their imprisonment as localities blame previous administrations and squabble over what monetary sum amounts to atonement.
