PoliticsRe: Igbos And Yorubas Are The Closest Tribes by Oplomo:
McLizbae:
First of all, I liked your quote/comment. Surely, Tinubu will find it very difficult without SE, especially now that more Northerners are rooting for Atiku because of nothing less than the fact he is absolutely their own.

Atiku's victory will not guarantee SE Presidency in 8 years that's all lies. Tinubu is a camp to seriously reckon with. Even if Atiku win now, Tinubu is coming back again! May not be him then, but his loyal comrades.

If Tinubu can appoint/approve igbo commission in lagos, what makes you think igbos won't have better chances and federal representations with Tinubu?
There are no guaratee in politics but chances, probability and possibilities.

The SW voted the APC against southern interest in order to get ticket in 2023 what stops the SE from also voting the PDP in order to bargain in the next 8 years?

If the SE wants presidency which they deserve, which would you choose between the two scenarios;

1) Voting SW and waiting for 16 years WITH ZERO GUARANTEE of SE presidency?
OR
2) Voting North East and waiting for 8 years with some glimmer of chance (no matter how little) of SE presidency?

This is practical politics and the East is choosing the second option.
PoliticsRe: The Politics Of Bitterness By Orji Kalu by Oplomo: 1:17pm On Jun 08, 2022
I am actually proud of OUK.
He is right and has the right to defend his region just like tinubu defends his own region..

We will not allow you victimize him for speaking his mind and asking for justice.

Voting for tinubu is not anyway in the East's favour. It means a long 16 year wait for the SE to have a chance, voting a NE who also have not tasted power is our best bet and OUK is right.

It is not emotions but pure politics of interest. The East will protect its own interest but will not stop anyone from protecting theirs. We do not owe anyone any apologies. Stop being emotional, and play politics like the 'hard man' that you always claim you are.

Funflipper:
You guys have come again with yet another. Even with the outcome of this APC presidential primaries, you guys still don't know how elections are won and lost in Nigeria. Atiku stand no chance against Tinubu in next year's election.
Oga, listen up. Political permutations will continue until the very last day of 2023 election. If don't like to hear it, block your ears with cotton wools.

The SW does not have numbers at the national level and the talakawas won't abandon their own in PDP to vote tinubu a southern kaffir.

The North have paid tinubu his debt in APC as agreed by giving him ticket, they will now vote their brother with a clear conscience in PDP. Go figure.

Let me give you an expo.

-The CJN has his 2 two kids on both APC and PDP tickets.

- Atiku was the Buhari's son Yusuf
Godfather during his marriage.

- Buhari is an in-law to Adamawa people where Atiku comes from.

Atiku will be your next president. He is already rejoicing in Abuja. grin
PoliticsRe: Igbos And Yorubas Are The Closest Tribes by Oplomo:
McLizbae:
You people say more than this before APC primary. Tinubu even dared you all and even the cabal. He spoke to the principalities in the Aso rock, and still here he is. The APC flag bearer.

As it stands now, apart from emotions, Igbo people will help their future politics better by supporting Tinubu and Lagos. Tinubu is a fearless lion.

PS: The success of lagos is the success of the east.
2000 bought delegates is 20000% different from 200 million people. SW does not have the numbers, even if SE abstain due to injustice, Atiku will still win.

Supporting tinubu means we will have to wait for 16 years for power to come back to the south, supporting Atiku means 8 years for power to come back to the South and give us an opportunity. If you were in our shoes who which would you choose? grin

This is practical politics not emotions. Atiku will still do well even in the SW like he did in 2019.
Yes, tinubu is a fighter, but he already lost before the whistle is blown based on the statistics.

I expect him to now start spending his huge resources looking for hungry corrupt judges and courts like that of disgraced Justice Salami that will disqualify Atiku. That's his only hope, but I doubt he will succeed. grin
PoliticsRe: Now That Lawan Is Losing Will Igbos Still Vote A Northern Candidate? by Oplomo: 12:40pm On Jun 08, 2022
AntiMahdi:
Since Lawan isn't getting the ticket and all hopes of a Yamri VP are now dashed, will the Igbos who have been telling us that if the APC doesn't zone the ticket to them that they will vote a northern candidate (which was supposed to be Lawan because of Umahi as VP), will they still be voting a northerner from another party?

As things stand now, they have the choice of Atiku and Kwankwaso.

Kwankwaso has already picked a Yoruba man as his running mate and Atiku is most likely going for a SS as his, this leaves the Igbos out in the cold with only their last hope Peter Obi on the ballot.

The question to ask now is: are the Igbos going to follow through on their threat as outlined by Orji Uzor Kalu that if the APC doesn't zone it to the SE that they will vote a Northern candidate?
grin
You yorubas don't have the number at the national polls.

President Atiku is already jumping for joy. He will be having a monopy of votes in the North while the yoruba APC southern flagbearer can't boast of the same in the south. grin

You already know we are stubborn Ibos we stick to our convictions and damn the consequences. grin

Abubakar Atiku is your new president come 2023. grin

In southwest Nigeria where yorubas hold sway, the igbos have their highest population outside SE. in the whole world. They’ve intermarried, worked together, schooled together.

If not for some factors, Yoruba Igbo is as recant as Hausa Fulani.

Do you agree?
Se u dey whine us for southern unity ni? grin

Ogbeni forget talk. Yes we close for business and social, but our politics no be the same. We as Igbos believe in a politics of fairness and equity, you believe in vindictive politics. Congrats to tinumbu on his successful buying of APC delegates votes, but Atiku is the next president of Nigeria in 2023. grin

He is already being congratulated by political bookmakers and pundits.

I don't do betting, but I am going to naijabet right now to place a million naira on Atiku as the next president. Do the same and recover all your bet loses from all these criminal betting companies at once. grin grin
PoliticsCongratulations To President Atiku Abubakar. by Oplomo(op): 12:07pm On Jun 08, 2022
Feelers from Abuja tells us Atiku was rejoicing after he learnt a Southerner is leading the counts of the APC delegates votes in the primaries.

His camp are thanking God and APC for handing Atiku and PDP a monopoly of votes in the North.

Congratulation H.E President Atiku Abubakar (GCFR). grin grin

Haba, make una allow ewedu mooslims masturbate in peace na.

Tinubu's win of delegates votes mean power is going north.

For we in the East, tinubu means 16 years before power will come back to the south, while Atiku means 8 years at least before power comes back to the south. Of course you know the East can't wait for 16 years. Atiku is already jumping up for joy. grin grin

you Yoruba Muslims are blinded by hatred and are shallow minded creeps lower than the Fulani. Didn't you see any sense and facts in what he said? You cry that tinubu was betrayed by fellow Yoruba who truly are by nature betrayers. Don't you think if onu forfeited his presidential ticket 23 years ago so a Yoruba man can emerge president was good of him and the Yoruba failing to return such good guesture to the Igbo now amounts to betrayal? Are you all sick in the head? Or just dimwits and shallow brained? Even the uneducated Fulani man is smarter and more accommodating than you. The Fulani has shown their ability to accomodate others thrice despite their lust for power, but you dimwits are just cursed with the inability to reason. Any little thing you call igbos wailers, dot, drug peddlers. You only have yeye mouth no sense, no accommodating spirit, just hate. Mind you I am not Igbo but I have to be sincere with you because your behavior as a Yoruba man is irresponsible and unintelligent

PoliticsRe: If Tinubu Was Fulani... by Oplomo:
Aderewah:
If Tinubu was Fulani and was in charge of Kano, Igbos will actually love and respect him. They won’t call him a thief.

Why? We all know the biggest thieves in Nigerian political history are northerners. Babangida, Atiku, Abacha and more. Yet igbos don’t call them thieves.

It’s Tinubu they reserve the insult for. Because they won’t ever be lagos governors. Because Tinubu is a formidable leader and face of Yoruba politics. They hate yorubas. They don’t want to see Yoruba succeed. Especially more than them. So they hate a Tinubu.
Igbos actually learnt it from you yorubas who always used your propaganda fake news newspapers to pull down any shining light from Igboland. You did it with Okonjo-Iweala and other notable Igbos. Okonjo left the ministry, a northerner is there now, do you guys even know her name off hand, despite the destruction of our economy?
