Awolowo is a Christian, Akintola is a Christian.

In the second republic, Lateef Jakande is a Muslim, Rafiu Jafojo is a Muslim.

At Oyo, Bola Ige is Christian, Sunday Afolabi is a Christian.

At Ondo, Baba Ajasin - Christian, Omoboriowo - Christian.

I can name States in the middle belt and north with Christian - Christian and those with Muslim - Muslim tickets.

In South West, you are wrong with your analysis.

The North (Arewa) before amalgamation and before Independence was predominantly a Muslim nation just like Niger, Chad, etc. That is why they use Sharia Penal Codes.

You cannot create a situation whereby only Christian from the South can occupy the President or the Vice President office. The Muslim South can never accept them. If Muslim - Muslim ticket is not feasible, then it means, only Christian from the South can occupy the President or the Vice President office.

Any Nigerian can aspire to be President or Vice President. It is left to voters to make their choice.

1.) Atiku votes are intact and even more, as whatever he losses in the south, he will be gaining in the North, since buhari is now out of the equation. So APC votes cannot be said to be intact for tinubu. In the North, it is NORTH FIRST.

2.) There is still a silver lining that Obi may be back to PDP to pick VP ticket as LP coalesce with PDP. Negotiations are on as we speak.
If the deal works out, it will be an OVERKILL for Atiku against tinubu, as Jagabum fit no see draw for any state in North, SE and SS.
