If you don't know, go ask your father. As long as you're yoruba, no matter the state you may come from, we share a common wealth. Ile ife is the cradle of the Yorubas. The aborigines of Lagos migrated from ile ife while some settled in Ogun state. However you look at it, everywhere is home to the Yoruba unlike potor people in Imo who could chop off the head of a man from akwa daring to become a Bishop in mbaise. Given to intra tribal discrimination with the predominance of Osu caste amongst several other prevailing social animosities.

GavelSlam: What evil machinations?
Onnoghen's peers, the NJC, have found him wanting. If we recall, when he was to be investigated by the very body setup for such purposes, he suspended them indefinitely, being the chairman of the said body.
If that wasn't a clue of guilt then I guess you aren't being truthful.
In addition, Onnoghen has used the excuse of 'forgetting' to include the suspicious accounts into his declaration forms. As a judge, would Onnoghen accept such lousy claims by a defendant especially if such forgetfulness has been over a decade?
Is the bench not being brought to disrepute when it can be seen that a judge forgets such important instruments of check?
Can you trust a judge who receives hefty gifts from lawyers even if they were indeed for his daughter's wedding?
We don't need to have known Onnoghen before making a conclusion on him based on facts that have been presented to the public.
Onnoghen is a custodian of justice, in fact, the highest in the land. An x-ray of him shows that he's severely lacking in character.
His excuses are at best wishy washy and would be unacceptable anywhere in the world.
In football, Rio Ferdinand ' forgot' to take a drug test and was given a ban even though he later took the test and passed.
Talk less of a judge who consistently forgot to declare such humongous assets, which are actually more than any other account he holds. Where is the NJC report that found him wanting. Don’t make stories ok. Follow simple due process is not too much ask. Using kangaroo expate order not ok No country but her CJN on trial. First remove him and proceed with trial Supreme Court seats a minimum of 5 justices CJN on his own can’t influence the decisions of others You can’t run a country on the whims and caprices of an individual Bye |

adanny01: You guys had no idea of the law. NJC has zero power. What they do is recommend.
What ever they have in their recommendation, they do not want the president to override them which may cause a public outcry from people like you when they know that the president is not bound to their recommendation. It could also affect their council negatively or their personal capacities since Buhari's action can ridicule the council.
They took the best action such that whatever the president does, the true position of the NJC will not be known and the reputation of the council will be intact whether Buhari goes for or against their recommendation. This dumb analysis. sorry FYI CJN has official immunity but Nigeria is a banana republic anything goes... |

BabaAduras: You asked "market since last 4 years?" Market has been fantastic. In 4 years, Nigerian economy moved from a state of comatose to a recovering and the biggest economy in Africa (overtaking South Africa and Egypt), Nigeria became the biggest Rice producer in Africa, the biggest Railway project is ongoing, improvement in Power generation, diversification from total dependent on Oil, 2nd Niger Bridge and most importantly, PDP thieves were stopped from stealing our commonwealth.
That is the market we enjoyed in the past 4 years, which we shall continue to enjoy with another 4 years of PMB and APC.
If you are not happy with this, you can go and meet Kanu to lead you out of Nigeria. We will not miss you in Nogeria. Even with your 99% support of PDP, you did not affect the tides Nigerian politics. I can’t engage dud, your analysis is a dumb as it gets -very shallow Bye |
