[What is this one saying, y cant they upload fake result...they got admission through man knowan, u r now defending them here. Tell me what they use in admitting these ones. Their admission process wasn't free and fair. Reputable schools like U.I, Unilag , Oau etc used a fair system. Rubbish school.

how can over 1000 students decide to upload fake result, if it happens to 20 students we can say it is deliberate but 1000 students haba. And the school discovered this after paying acceptance fee of #20,000.[/quote]

N. POWER BENEFICIARIES IN OGUN ASSURED OF REDEPLOYMENT/NEW POSTING
Beneficiaries of the N. Power Volunteer Corps Scheme in Ogun State who have officially lodged complaints regarding inconvenience as it relates to their postings have been assured of re-deployment for more convenience.
Commissioner for Special Duties, Barr. Adeleke Adewolu stated this while reviewing the complaints of the beneficiaries at his office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, saying that the purpose of the scheme was to post beneficiaries very close to their place of residence as the cases of those affected with genuine reason would be redeployed.
He disclosed that a total of 5,799 were shortlisted for the first phase of the N. Power volunteer Corps Scheme with 4,408 for N- Teach, 849 for N- Agro and 542 for N- Health out of which 5,027 had been verified and have started receiving alerts of their December stipends since Friday, January 6, 2017.
According to him ‘’all successfully verified beneficiaries who have provided bank account details on the N – Power portal are being processed for payment by the Federal Government’’.
He urged those whose application had been verified and have provided bank account details on the N. Power Portal but were yet to receive their stipend not to panic as they would soon be paid.
Barr. Adewolu however appealed to those who were shortlisted but have not yet done the verification to visit the office of the National Orientation Agency, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta for further details.

EducationRe: FG Bans Unauthorised Courses In Specialised Universities by opy002(m): 9:52am On Jan 09, 2017
I don't see any reason why the Federal government should scrap Management courses especially from Universities of Agriculture. No agricultural venture can move forward/ progress without these courses- Accounting, business management, Economics, etc. Also, if the government had been performing her duty by giving these universities what they need (subventions) and at the right time, these universities wouldn't have diverted to these courses. In addition, the Ministry of Education gave them the go- ahead to do these course if the have the capacity, few years back( about 5 years ago)
If our government are ignorant of all these and other such knowledge, they should ask questions from the professionals in the education sector before coming up with policies that will kill our Education industry, and our coming students who will gain admission into these courses later.
Those involved in all these policies should be careful before acting.
My own take.

The post utme of most universities have been cancelled
(except those that have written)
Many aspirants have been wondering how the universities
would use their utme score to get their aggregate
score….many have concluded that they would increase the
utme cutoff to 250,280 or whatsoever. But this is not represent
It is you o’level results that would be used to get your cutoff
C6 – 2pt, c5 – 4pt, c4- 6pt b3- 8pt B2- 10pt A1-12pt
For the 5 o’level subjects required for your course. Each
grade would be represent a point (refer to the quoted text)
above
How to calculate your UI aggregate score
1. Sum up all the points corresponding to the grades you
have in your o’level
2. Divide your utme score by 8
3. Sum up 1 and 2.
4. Divide by 110
5. Multiply by 100
Example
Utme score- 230
O level results-. A1,B2,B3,C4 and C6
1. 230÷8= 29
2. A1= 12 points
B2= 10 points
B3= 8 points
C4= 6 points
C6= 2 points
Total= 38 points
3. 29+38=67
4. 67/110= 0.61
5. 0.61* 100= 61%

Hussmanov:
Latest rumour model to be used
UI Admission 2016/2017. The admission screening is divided into 2 sections but all over 100. The procedure is as follows: You will place the candidate's UTME score over (divide by) 400 and multiply it by 50 to obtain half of the derived score. Then stage 2 is to compute the O'level part over 50 also. Choose the best 5 subjects that are relevant to the course chosen (must include English and mathematics) and compute thus: A1=6points, B2, =5points, B3=4points. C4=3points, C5=2points & C6=1point. Multiply whatever score you get is over 30 by 50 to get the second half of the derived score. Add the two derived scores to obtain the percentage score. Let's try out an example: For a child who got 240 in UTME. It is 240/400×50 =30 points. Then his/her O'level results: Eng lang A1(6 points). Maths. B2. (5points). Biology A1. (6 points). Chem. B2. (5points). Physics B3. (4points). The candidate got 6+5+6+5+4=26/30×50=43 points. Therefore, the candidate has a percentage score of 30+43= 73. The minimum score for a child to enter UI is 50%. However, for many courses, there would be ranking and the cut off point may be much higher. You can compute for your candidate now.
Please, tell us where u got the rumour from. thanks
