My 6 weeks of waiting supposed to be completed by Thursday. They sent me a mail today that I should provide evidence of work. Does it mean I will wait another 6 weeks now? I sent them evidence of work already.

Ours took just 21 days..We applied on the 4th of May and received collection mail on the 1st of June.

Yes, they do if you have gap years. Nothing to worry about. Just send them your employment contract/offer with contacts.
