But if I may ask why did it take so much time? Is it because of the ADR? Pls enlighten us on what may cause ADRs and what we can do to avoid such wait. Remember you are a legend now, so your advice is highly recommended.

I am actually a girl. The thing is I don't know what caused the delay. The 1st gcms notes were fine. IRCC has its own timeline and how it works, which can be frustrating sometimes.

And it's PPR finally!

It's been 10 months and a few weeks on this journey and forgive me that this news won't be so dramatic. It's been a long wait and am thankful that it's all over!

That's what has happened to me. Let's just relax. I believe they are working on your file. You may call cic on Monday to know what's going on with your file.

CIO is also a local Visa Office. Some applications get treated at CIO.
Your friend's application will probably be completed there and their PPR will come from CIO

What Enitan007 said is what's happening to me. The file hasn't moved from NS.

God knows I need to leave my current job with speed, am just very tired at this point.

It's most likely that your application has left CIO and is now at a local visa office.
You can now try to find out your VO so you'll know who to mail if you need to

Tried to call them. No useful information came out of them. very annoying something.

I got an ADR request on the 10th of October and submitted by the 14th . My worry is that up till now it's still reading " the additional documents you provided is being reviewed" . I'm in IP2 . I'm really getting worried . Don't know oh f this is normal .

Nay, they are not looking down on us. The government here is very supportive. There is no discrimination. There are so many government programs, grants and subsidies to assist people especially the low income earners.
