We queued on the school field until the 1st set came out.
We were later searched again by civil defence corps. And we did biometrics confirmation b4 going in.
After some minutes we settled down and we were given jamb rough sheet which we used for calculation.
One boy was sent out of the hall cos he logged in b4 we were told to do so. It was then that I noticed one guy in sutana[white garment] and I was like the hustle is real o.mayb na church e follow come here sha.
We started sha. I did english 1st followed by math,chemistry and physics.
English no to add but dat physics add die cos na ss3 i start to dey do physics and I didnt prepare much 4 d jamb.
Most of the past questions were repeated.
I will post some as I remember sha.

Did u take a pen with u to the centre and did they allow u to use it?

Mhen, I have seen my score - 205.

Not what I expected, but it's a pass mark for my course, at least.

I guess I should be glad, considering how a lot of people have been lamenting since morning, saying they got 157, 170, 161 and so on. We all didn't see what was coming -- No real calculator but a time-wasting, on-screen calculator. And also, a reduced amount of time.

For someone doing physics, maths, chemistry and english, trust me, it couldn't get any worse.

The difficult thing about the exam wasn't really the questions, but ANSWERING ENOUGH QUESTIONS IN TIME.

I know I did much, though. Which is why I will be waiting for them to increase my score. But whether they do or not, PUTME is next!!!

I know you guys will blast this exam. It's not that hard. Find your strength and work on it. And You gotta be fast.

We (those that wrote the exam on the 27th) have gone to die on the cross for you guys. So, now, you're familiar with the way the exam is this year. This should give you an edge. I'm sure you won't score less than 300. You can. Just make sure you finish.

Okay. To the best of my knowledge, during the electrolysis of of acidified water, the anions(SO4^2- and OH^-) migrate to the anode, where OH^- are discharged. Since two OH^- groups react to form one atom of oxygen, four OH^- groups will react to form a molecule of oxygen gas which was evolved.

The reaction involved is:

2HCl_(aq) + Pb(NO₃)₂_(aq)---->PbCl₂_(s) + 2HNO₃_(aq)

At the start:

n_HCL=(200 x 0.1)/1000= 0.02mol

nPb(NO3)₂=(200 x 0.1)/1000=0.02mol

from the equation,

If 2moles HCl--->1mole Pb(NO3)2

0.02mole HCl--->0.01mole Pb(NO3)2

Since the available mole of Pb(NO3)2 is greater than what is required stoichiometrically, HCl is the limiting reagent, that is, HCl determines the amount of PbCl2 formed.

Also from the equation,

2moles HCl form 1mole PbCl₂

0.02mole HCl will form 0.01mole PbCl₂

PbCl₂= 207 + (35.5 x 2)=278g/mol

mass of PbCl2 precipitated= 0.01mol x 278g/mol

=2.78g
