GEJ has said it, it's left for GMB to act.

I have answers to some allegations made here.

1. Some persons said GEJ has pleaded with GMB that's why he made this statement. If that be the case, it means that GMB's acclaimed zero tolerance to corruption is actually used to deceive some naive nigerians in other to get their votes. Simple!

2. Some people said GEJ is sacking some people so that they will go with evidences which could send him to jail that's why he made this statement. If this is the case and GMB couldn't probe him it will show how ignorant of the law GMB is and it will be a shame.

3. Someone asked if GEJ was sure and willing to go to jail if found guilty. If he won't, he wouldn't have made a public statement.

Let me end with this.

Most people that pasted comments on this topic do not know what probing actually entails that's why they paste whatever comes to their mind. Please before you comment on a topic, please understand the topic well.

I have lived in two states (enugu and rivers) light is not really much an issue because we can get 16 to 18 hours power supply in a day. So the problem is the receiving stations in each state. Some times they are not capable of receiving this power supply and also don't properly transmit it to the distribution stations.
If you don't have power supply in your state please blame your state government for it because federal government give them federal allocations for them to be able to work in their states so don't always blame it on GEJ.

We have entered a critical week in Nigeria's political History.
The world is watching with interest as we go to the polls on Saturday.
This great Nation, sure deserves change. Change of attitude, lifestyle, thinking, etc. Not the change that will depend on one man but the change where everyone will take responsibility towards building a better country.

Some people have tried to convince me to vote for their candidate because they believe he will bring "change"
They say:
On certificate; ...just vote for him even if he presents "NEPA" bill
On public debate; ...just vote even if he shuns every opportunity to explain how he will bring change.
On Religion; ...just vote for him even if he doesn't condemn Islamic extremism
On Recycling old rulers... Just vote for him, he has changed
On Corruption...Just vote even if he's surrounded and funded by corrupt people, he would change them.
On ability to lead a modern Nigeria...they say just vote for him, we have a good team that will teach him.

I asked, why this blind faith? They said, "because the man who is in-charge now has failed, let's experiment with General....he's too old to be corrupt."
I asked, what if the experiment fails? They said, then we will change him in 4yrs time...hmmmm.

I want a better life for my family and country but I'm grateful for the progress so far made. I'm not ready to throw away what I have and follow the promises of Nigerian politicians.

President Jonathan may not have accomplished all he set to do but no one can deny the fact that his gentle nature and leadership has given us the freedom we never had. Freedom is the core essence of democracy. For the first time in our history even idiots can insult the President and sleep without worry.

On Saturday 28th March, exercise your freedom and vote who you like. I'll vote for GEJ. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria,God bless and keep us all,Amen.

Politics / Do You Think Osinbajo Is Use As A Setup To Get Votes From South-west? by organic973: 11:04am On Mar 25, 2015
Facts are emerging on why prominent Yoruba leaders have vowed not to vote for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Mohammadu Buhari (rtd.), in the March 28 presidential elections.

Prominent Yoruba leaders and groups, including the two factions of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPF), the Afenifere Renewal Group and individual Yoruba leaders have sent in a flurry of support and endorsement of the candidature of incumbent President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

Sources close to the pan-Yoruba cultural group, Afenifere, have blamed the leader of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the woes that befell the South-West region in the present administration, especially as it concerns the loss of the Speakership of the House of Representatives.

One of the sources claimed it was Asiwaju Bola Tinubu that sponsored current Speaker, Aminu Bello Tambuwal, against the only Yoruba candidate to the post, Mrs. Mulikat Akande.

“The truth is that it was Tinubu’s backing of Tambuwal that eventually tipped the scale against the Yoruba nation. Because of that, the Yorubas are nowhere in the pecking order of this government. We are not the president, we are not the vice, we are not in the Senate and we are not in the House of Representatives. How do we support someone so selfish that he has to sell the privileges of the Yoruba nation to outsiders?” the source, who does not want to be named, said.

He went on to list other alleged sins of Tinubu and was certain that no Yoruba person worth his heritage would support anything projected by the man that is also popularly called the Jagaban.

According to the source, “The truth is that Tinubu has practically usurped the economy of Yoruba’s richest state. As we speak, the economy of Lagos is Tinubu and Tinubu is the economy of Lagos. We believe in equity and fairness and we are convinced Tinubu does not represent this.”

Politics / APC Accused Of Plotting Coup by pdp by organic973: 10:39am On Mar 25, 2015
THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) the day before yesterday accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of plan to sponsor a military takeover should it lose the March 28 presidential election. Director of Media and Publicity of the ‎PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Femi Fani-Kayode, who disclosed this at a press briefing yesterday in Abuja, also denied allegation by the APC that President Goodluck Jonathan had spent over a trillion naira from the national treasury to bribe traditional rulers, opinion leaders and on media advertisements.

Fani-Kayode alleged that the APC had produced a video aimed at creating the impression that the Federal Government was being dominated by people who took pride in enriching themselves at the expense of the national treasury.

Fani-Kayode’s press statement reads in part: “Worst of all, the producers of this video were attempting to incite the Nigerian people against the Nigerian government. They went as far as to suggest that when the presidential election is fought and won and President Goodluck Jonathan emerges as the winner, that the people should call for a full scale military intervention rather than allowing Jonathan to come back. They also specifically asked for the targeting and assassination of key members of this administration and a number of its supporters in the event of a Jonathan victory in the coming elections.

“We say in clear terms that the video in question and the intentions of those behind it is reprehensible, irresponsible and it is unacceptable. We wish to take this opportunity to let the APC know that under no circumstance will we allow them to rob us of our legitimate mandate which, hopefully, will be legitimately and freely given to the President by the Nigerian people on March 28.

“Secondly, we will not tolerate any act of violence or any attempt to assassinate anybody by their agents in the event of us winning and neither will the people of this country ever allow another military intervention.

As a party, we are committed to the democratic process. We believe that that is the only way forward. “We must not allow any political party that is being covertly funded and supported by shady foreign interests with an agenda of insurgency, butchery, murder, division and strife to take power in this country.

We must not allow a man like Gen. Muhammadu Buhari to set us back. We must always resist their attempt to incite people to violence. We must resist their attempt to prepare for war in the event of their losing and we must resist their attempt to demean and abuse the democratic process and set us back many years in this country.”

The PDP campaign spokesman, who also described allegation that the President had spent a trillion naira on campaigns in the form of bribery to traditional rulers in the South-West and North as untrue, Fani-Kayode said the allegation was a figment of the imagination of the APC leaders, pointing out that “we don’t have a presidential candidate that gives bribes and our traditional rulers don’t take bribes.”

Politics / Buhari Certificate Saga: Fear Grips APC As Court Orders Accelerated Hearing by organic973: 11:05am On Mar 23, 2015
There is tension in the opposition All Progressives Congress as a Federal
High Court in Abuja, presided over by Justice Abdu Kafarati, has given an
order for accelerated hearing in a suit brought by a non-governmental
organization, Global Center for Conscious Living Against Corruption,
asking for an order of mandamus to compel the Inspector General of Police
to investigate allegations of forgery and perjury against the party’s
presidential candidate, Gen Muhammadu Buhari.

In the suit number FHC/ABJ/CS/172/2015, filed by Professor Andrew
Chukwuemerie, SAN, the plaintiffs are seeking the order of the court to
order police investigation into the “alleged acquisition and possession of
the West African School Certificate by Gen. Muhammad Buhari at Provincial
Secondary School, Katsina in view of non-production of the said School
Certificate of certified true copy thereof”.

The court originating summons, supported by a 31-paragraph affidavit,
sworn to by Joy Odoh, averred that the Inspector-General of Police has an
obligation under the Nigerian Constitution to investigate allegations of
forgery and lying on oath made against the APC presidential candidate and
that the police had refused to do so despite repeated demands.

One of the exhibits attached to the originating summons by the plaintiff
is a copy of a letter written by the Test Department of the National
Office of the West African Examinations Council in Ghana which states that
Buhari’s name and records were not in its examinations archive thus
suggesting that he was never a candidate for the examination set by the
body.

The plaintiffs contended that Buhari lied on oath and ought to be tried
for perjury when he declared in an affidavit submitted to the Independent
Electoral Commission that his Secondary School Certificate was with the
Military Board, a claim denied by the Board.

The group said the allegations of forgery and perjury were too weighty to
be ignored by the police “which has a constitutional duty to investigate
all allegations bordering on crime in the interest of justice and that all
efforts made to make the police perform its duties have proved futile”.

Meanwhile, subsequent upon an application by the plaintiffs counsel, the
court gave an order for accelerated hearing and directed the
Inspector-General of Police to enter his defence within seven days.

The plaintiffs are also asking the court to determine whether by virtue of
the provisions of the 1999 Constitution and the Police Act, the Inspector
General of Police is not duty bound to investigate the allegations
especially when the APC candidate has not submitted either an original
copy or a certified true copy of his secondary school certificate to INEC
as required by law.

I doubt if this threat is real!

1. There was a threat to his life and he didn't make entry in the police station.

2. Because of threat to his life he suspended God's work and kept people stranded.

Is it that God can't protect him or he is not sure if God is with him?

Am still not convinced of a threat to Fr Mbaka 's life.
Maybe someone just wants him to be on the run.

No need to run because Jonathan is winning and he may visit you openly so no need to run.

Politics / INEC Wants To Disenfranchise Us, Christians In Bauchi Cry Out by organic973: 4:56pm On Mar 22, 2015
Less than one week to the general election, Christians in Bauchi Local Government Area of Bauchi State, under the aegis of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) have raised the alarm that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is aiming to disenfranchise them by cleverly keeping away the Permanent Voters Card (PVCs) from its members.

Addressing a press conference in Jos, the CAN coordinator for Bauchi local government area, Mr Mako Gwamis, who was flanked by about 14 other Christians, said: “Christians in Bauchi LG are facing threat of being disenfranchised if no action is taken to avert the evil plan.”

He said, “Christian dominated areas in the LG like Bayara, Yelwan Tsakanin, Tsakanin Bayara, Gwallameji, Doka, Kagadama, Yelwan-Tudun, Turum, Miri, Yelwan-Makaranta, Rafin Zurfi, Gudum Sayawa, Gudum Hausa, ECWA-1, to mention but a few, having a population of about 10,000 people, who took their time to stand under the sun and registered for the polls, but not up to 2,000 of them have got their PVCs due to INEC deliberate act to make the cards unavailable to their polling units for distribution.”

Gwamis said voters in these areas are asked to travel INEC local government office at Kofar Ran, a distance of about 40 kilometres to obtain their cards. He added that those who could afford the transport fare and travelled the distance only got stranded at Kofar Ran as they did not get the INEC officials to attend to them.

He queried why the distribution of the PVCs in Christian dominated areas had to be taken to a different location from where they registered, adding that the Christians are suspecting sabotage.

Electing Buhari as president will be a disaster for Africa. US Envoy. Punch Newspaper Saturday 21st March 2015.

Obviously from the above newspaper headlines and other news on Liberty FM Kaduna and BBC Hausa service, General Buhari and Boko Haram have plenty things in common. General Buhari’s nomination by the dreaded Islamic terrorist group to be their chief negotiator with government leaves much to be desired.

General Buhari’s utterances and statements whenever he talks about Boko Haram lend credence to the fact that he is either one of their sponsors or an overt supporter.

The above newspaper headlines speak for themselves.

It is up to Nigerians on Saturday the 28th of March 2015 to hand Nigeria to Boko Haram Islamic terrorist group through General Buhari as war booty or continue with the total liberation of Nigeria through Dr Goodluck Jonathan the good work he has already started.

Remember no nation has ever changed a leader during war and succeeded.

Boko Haram is an Islamic terrorists group who have destroyed churches and Christian houses in the town and villages they have raided and seized.

Ask Christians who returned to the liberated areas like Mubi, Michika, Madagali, Gombi in Adamawa State.

As at today the Saturday 21st of March 2015, here is a frightening news headline from the Punch Newspaper: – “Electing Buhari as president will be a disaster for Africa. US Envoy. Punch Newspaper Saturday 21st March 2015.”

Politics / Buhari Is Sharia Candidate, ISIS Supporter, U.S Foreign Expert Warns Obama by organic973: 1:34pm On Mar 22, 2015
Foreign policy expert Richard Grenell has warned the Obama administration to “wake up” to the growing threat of Nigeria turning into an Islamic state, leading to other African nations also capitulating to Muslim extremists.

In an opinion column for The Washington Times, Grenell revealed that a leading candidate in the Nigerian general election later this month is a sympathizer of the Boko Haram terror group and plans to install strict Sharia Law if he’s elected.

General Mohammadu Buhari, the All Progressives Congress is facing off against incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan on March 28 in the African continent’s most populous country.

Buhari has spoken defensively about Boko Haram, even though the evil group has kidnapped and enslaved hundreds of young girls. And he has been personally been selected by the terrorists to lead its negotiations with the government.

“Western foreign policy observers pre-occupied with the rise of ISIS in the Middle East should wake up to the reality unfolding in Nigeria,” wrote Grenell, a former spokesman for four United States Ambassadors to the United Nations, most recently Ambassador Zal Khalilzad.

“Buhari’s election as head of state would be a disaster for Africa. It would also signal trouble for the West’s fight against the Islamic State (ISIS) and terrorism throughout the Middle East. The decision by the 73 million registered Nigerian voters could have a profound impact on the future of Africa.”

Buhari even appears to be advocating violence while pushing for the moral and religious code of Sharia Law, according to Grenell.

“I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria,” Buhari said. “God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country.”

But Grenell wrote, “Agitation? Is this an indication that Mr. Buhari supports violence because the end goal of the terrorist attacks throughout Nigeria and Africa is an Islamic state? It is a legitimate question that should be asked by leaders of the Obama administration.”

Boko Haram, which has pledged its support to ISIS, is based in northern Nigeria and hopes to rule the country with Sharia Law.

The group, which recently killed 54 people in Nigeria by using four suicide bombers, is also taking terrorist actions in neighboring Chad, Niger and Cameroon to force them to adopt an Islamic state as well.
Grenell warned that Nigeria could become “a tipping point” in Africa in the same way that Tunisia kicked off the Arab Spring in the Middle East.

“The West, and specifically the Obama Administration, needs to wake up to the growing problem,” wrote Grenell. “The Nigerian economy has been growing faster than South Africa’s. Imagine what Nigeria could do for Africa if it was also free of Boko Haram’s violence.

“The Obama administration should be doing more to ensure Africa’s most populous country doesn’t slip away.”
