l don't have to enumerate all l have done in my little way in terms of the small SME's I established that has taken few people off the unemployment market despite the harsh economic environment l had to deal with, I don't want to go into details but it is the same frustration most of us in diaspora contend with in a bid to do something in the useless jungle called Nigeria, l am not a coward, it is you and others who are cowards because you are satisfied with the status quo instead of embarking on massive civil disobedience to force your useless politicians in Nigeria to do the right thing, as long as you are okay with all the bulshit been served you by your vampire politicians, Nigeria will remain in everlasting chains, it is better to be a 4th or 5th class citizen in the West than to be a Nigerian, Nigeria is dead and rotten, it is beyond redemption, I will not dignify you with another response, enjoy the current change Buhari and his bunch of useless Apc is feeding you with daily, my last response to you, Apc...... Change.... Hahaha
COWARRRRRD... Imagine you are over there saying embark on a massive civil disobedience.... Didn't your brain tell you that people embarked on civil disobedience in the country you are in and that is why you enjoy the 4th class citizen status you currently enjoy?? What stops you from coming down here to start one or participate in one? You will rather stay there and point fingers and blame everyone else..... Who is asking for nonsense reply you are giving.......... runaway Coward!!! If those that fought for the rights you currently enjoy ran away will you be there today? If Nelson Mandela ran away to Europe or America from all the oppression and brutality he faced will the blacks be ruling South Africa today!!!!Runaway coward!!!

Look at d link below

When wud u change this and other anomalies disgracing d nation?
I am quite sure u went to such school and that is d type ur kids wud meet as well in yesrs to come.
Just because u get a mere certification u feel u re educated. If u were patroitic enough why did u get a local certification. I still love d tales of u being begged to stay but requested for renegotiation of ur salary. So where u re now u earn far more abi that is if u ve a job. Lies dont pay.
As for education, I ve got it to d zenith cos its free. Not only free u re entitled to money from d govt and while doong Ph. D it is like a job as u re being placed on salary.
So young man if u think because of ur tissue certification u ve arrived then it shows d depth not height u ve descended into.
What are d credentials of d thugs u re sidong with. Zero.
I actually served in a School like that and in Akwa-Ibom. although they had desks and chairs. Ol boy, everything good or bad comes from Allah (God) ok, i do not have your mentality ok. Like i said before, i got offered a job in the U.K to pay me about 'e3K, and that time my Naija salary was about e'400.00. per month. I was offered the job because i had an IT certification and i knew my stuff and the owner needed someone with my certification on his payroll to apply for a licensing. I turned it down cos i had to sign a (5) year agreement before they will apply for work visa for me. My U.K friend gave the agreement to a Nigerian in the U.K who was studying law and working in a law firm (You better get an education) to look over and he included a clause that says renewable every year but they refused and said renewable every 3 years. My friend it is not everyone that is "hungry" and desperate like you. I will give you an example... an oil company in Nigeria, you will think those from SW Nigeria like travelling and living abroad, you also make more money if you go to the UK or US for 2 or 3 years, etc cos you get your salary in Naija as well as $$ payment abroad. Now guess what, those from SW ensures they are not even on a project that will take them abroad for any reason. They will lament and complain forever from going abroad, they want to stay in Nigeria and only come to visit. Ol boy, you, boasting about "food" shows your level. Years ago, NNPC staff in Nigeria are complaining that they don't want those nonsense chicken served in NNPC cafeteria and you are shamelessly holding it as a trophy.... actually, thinking about it now, i see your point, you could not even think outside the box and get a decent living in Nigeria, you were in a really really bad shape before you left....It's clearer to me now.

Ofcourse we will be met with anger on forums like this, discourse like this discomforts them, intrudes into their delusions hence why they defend the indefensible.
Shaybebaby - What have you personally done to effect the change you want to see in Nigeria? What have you done personally about the rot you complain about? What impact did you make in the lives of those living in the "hell hole" like you called it to make their lives better?

l concur. I visit Nigeria once or twice yearly, no difference, it is the same bulshit all over the country, immediately l disembark from the plane, sometimes I am welcomed with power failure in an international airport shocked, next is the terrible stench oozing out from the toilets and yet billions of naira have been budgeted yearly to make the airport of world standard, my last visit l came via Qatar airways, l transited Qatar enroute to lagos, Doha airport is like a 5star hotel clean and very neat, but on arrival in the jungle called Nigeria, it was like leaving Paradise to hell, instead of them to speak against the thieving politicians who have rendered the country a cesspit of poverty, they are busy attacking those who managed to leave the useless jungle, what a shame cool
What have you done about it.... All the complains what positive role have you played aside talk, talk and talk..... People died, fought for independence for you to have the Passport you used and a Country - NIGERIA, now politicians are stealing us blind and dividing us, what did you do? Fela sang about it, "I no wan die, i no wan quench, my papa dey for house, i wan build house, i wan enjoy.... so policeman go slap ur face you no go talk??.... It's ok for you to stay abroad and come to visit and complain that makes you a coward and a complainer.... If you want to do something positive, help to have your experiences printed in a newspaper, reported on the news, put pressure on the Govt to change it for the better so your own Children will not have those same complains... that is how to add value or at the very least, encourage those who are living in Nigeria to make it a better Country.

In all of this, i want you to take the advice from AMYA very serious..... Get an EDUCATION...... The things you talk about, boast about, and even insult about shows clearly you did not have good education in Nigeria before leaving. It is a good thing Nigeria is rid of folks like you. Someone that will refer to another person as "aboki terrorist" just because i mentioned that i am muslim is part of the problem Nigeria is dealing with - Bigotry... Time for a bit of a lesson in history.
AMERICA: Is a country built by immigrants. Asides from the native Indian, the land was populated and built by like minded people who left their (UK, Irish, Italians etc) home countries in search of a better life. NOT TRUE: America was built by West African slaves that was brought in to work for free. Also, those native Indians were killed and their land taking from them cos those immigrants from Europe came in with superior technology and they were already industrialized same thing they did in Africa.

When there was famine in Ireland in the 1800's, a lot of them left for the UK to ensure their survival.

When the brits set off to colonise Africa and Asia, the proceeds of their invasion and theft was used to develop their home country. Even where there was corruption, the average persons still benefitted from the wealth of the British Empire not just a select few hoarding it for themselves. This was the strategy of the British empire, they were colonizing lands under the order of the King of England and they used soldiers.... They had a functional system... so what are you talking abouthuh

However, however old their history might be, they have always followed the rule of law, their laws, from the time of monarchy to a parliamentary system fought for by Oliver Cromwell. So regardless of what hardships, challenges they may have faced, those laws ensured that things did not deteriorate into total anarchy so there was always method to rebuilding afterwards. Rubbish... Amya already told you to stop comparing. Europe, Middle East and Asia was a vast land and there were wars and empires and domination and a need to occupy more land as wealth as well as obtain and share civilizations from other lands. Also, the weather conditions, (cold winters) necessitated that they had to develop faster to survive... They had to develop shoes, thick clothing, ways to keep warm just to survive but we did not have to do any of those in Africa. Also, civilization started in Egypt and moved Northwards. The British empire that was taking wealth back was by order of the King. With growing population, there was a need to do things faster, travel faster, produce more food, conquer more lands and most importantly develop on the existing civilizations in place and there was competition everywhere from the orientalists, to the arabs, all over. Search for wealth, expansion and search for serenity from the industrial revolution in Europe brought them to Africa.

But that's not the case in Nigeria is it? People are not law abiding, jungle justice mentality pervades. You open your gob to say people become millionaires overnight and a part of your brain did not even pause to question "how?"
The end for you people justifies the means hence you don't care about the process.
Is even becoming a millionaire an achievement or rather the success of an entire society? I look down on you, not for living in Nigeria but for your typically Nigerian mentality which is feral at best..

Shaybebaby, the Ziks, Awos, Balewa's all were abroad but wanted to come back home. In the 80's it was 80K to $1, you had Indians, Americans, British citizens working as secondary School teachers in Nigeria and sending money back home. Nigeria was on its path to greatness. In the 90's Parents put their 10 year old sons and daughters in public transportation from Eastern Nigerian, Southern Nigeria to travel to Northern Nigeria to start JSS1 in an FGC school and vice versa with absolutely no fear of anything whatsoever Nigeria was that safe. The police was functioning well, there was Justice in the Court system, public health was working, Ministries and govt parastatals was functioning well. The decline started in the 90's and we have been on a downward spiral. We went through a civil war, and we have been plagued with the oldest thing that has held us back for a very long time, "the fear of the person that is different from you". You fear him, then you avoid him, then you distrust him, then you want to use violence against him...... We are divided along all lines from tribal, to religious, to everything and the religious institutions makes it worse. Everyone is suspicious of "the enemy of progress". Our major problem is corruption in leadership. We all know it but we are too divided to come together to fight it. The USA that you mentioned was built on the backs of West Africans as slaves. The freedom that all blacks enjoy in America today was fought by blacks that died to end segregation. Blacks line up in a bar that is strictly "White Only" and one will go in and they will beat him break peoples head, limbs etc and throw him out, as they are throwing him out, another blackman is stepping forward to take his own beating, and another and another, add that to Rosa parks refusal to get up from an empty whites only section in a bus and all the civil disobedience that followed that led to Martin Luther King telling the govt, just follow the Americas declaration of independence... We hold this truth...... THAT ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL....that is all the blacks ask for.

When you start to talk about access to quality education, health care, basic amenities and security for all, then I might start to think yes, there is something worthy in that place. However if you keep chatting shit about millionaires, then you deserve that hellhole you live in. You are on a wrong footing because you actually do not understand the point Amya was trying to pass across...... ? Because your measure of the success of your society is the reason why it's fvcked in the first place.

Ayaaa, bros you indeed is what yorubas call oju ori ola riii. Believe me bros, levels pass levels... i don't need to validate myself to you, but i will tell you this, many years ago, i went to London from Nigeria on a training/vacation. I had completed an IT certification exam in Nigeria when i got to London. I got a job that offered me about 3K pounds and a Nigerian was part of the interviewer. He asked me how long it took me to study and obtain the certification and i said 6months. He was impressed, and asked how I, in Nigeria knew about the certification and asked if i know of any other Nigerian with the Certification... I laughed and told him in my Company alone its I and two others were almost done getting it not counting those i met there that left the company oh and we don't have a big IT shop, most companies/banks/telecom shops has at least 5 people with it and lots of folks has the cert in Naija. The guy was embarrassed and dumbfounded cos he studied in the UK and he registered in a school and paid lots of "$$" for 1 year to obtain a certification that i did on my own studying and meeting with friends in NIGERIA in 6 months. So, who is delusional....

It is so sickening that u ve not grown up to be in touch with reality.
U fail to realize that a lot of Nigerians educated abroad who ve acquired highly needed skill so passionate to give back to d country are often frustrated by d same people who should encourage them. I know many who out of sheer disappointment went back abroad.
I recall a particular instance when I was in d university where a man from d area who is an eye care specialist who wanted to offer free eye health care services was lamenting d numerous bottlenecks by d govt who were suppose to give him all d support he needed. It was this and other events I saw that made me ran away.
I never belittle anyone except the likes of u and Pidgin2 and all ur deluded fellow.
Nigerians at home deserve far better lives than they get. What we have here as basics are luxury to many Nigerians which should not be.
Wake up to reality little inexperienced boy. U need time to grow up and realize that there are certain things that are beyond reformation or redemption. Certain causes are lost.
We all know that. You stay put and fight the good fight. Nigerians are resilient, and the hardest thing to cahnage about a human being is the mind. You know about MMM scam right, i told some friends, begged, cajoled, pleaded with, wooed, showed examples of how MMM swindled people in Russia, and other countries but guess what, folks even went behind my back and deposited money into MMM, it is that stupid religiosity and Hope from pastors, imams and other religious leaders that you are going to make it no matter what, mix that up with stupidity and miracle believing religious mindset.....

In response to d bolded statements I wish to state that for people like u the oppurtunity to crosss the border let alone leave Naija can never come ur way.

Secondly, if not that the govt at all levels are useless, do they need not to factor in safety for all road users like d pedestrian bridges and barricaded sidewalks or pavements for pedestrians and lanes for motorcyclist.
If it is a govt that truly cares and values the lives of its citizens all these would be factored into the design and construction of roads.
I will give pics of how it is here in Norway perharps u can learn from them.
Now we are getting somewhere. Your statement here clearly shows the difference between I and Pidgin2 Vs You and Shebebaby and that follow-follow Erico2K2. The govt of Nigeria is not doing anything right, and people are dying over things that are avaoidable, now I and Pidgin2 are busy trying to make things work and volunteering to do what is right no matter how little to like Michael Jackson will say "Make that Change" and be that Change. You, and Shabebaby will rather abuse, criticize and boast about obodo oyibo and add absolutely no value at all instead you are even criticizing and pointing fingers. That Norway you live, i guarantee you there will be a Nigerian Senator, Minister, etc that most probably have their kids schooling there and they are making laws for us in Nigeria. Hopefully we will stand behind those that will say NO to those Politicians and we will march with them, discourage folks from collecting stipends to vote these fools etc and all these you have no part to play abi, Now the very least you and Shaybebaby can do is to salute the courage that you don'y have and show some respect. BTW you dont have to send me pix, i've not been to Oslo but i know how it is in Germany, London, and Amsterdam. Save your pix, those abroad think naijas dont know whats going on.

Nigeriandondie: Nobody is disputing all the things you wrote here. You know what or where the difference is? Some people, despite all odds stood firm and they are challenging the status quo and trying to make it work. Many years ago, blacks had no status where you are right now, someone fought for the privilege that they accord you. Nigerians problem will be solved by Nigerians. Never claimed to be a patriot unlike you so it's not for me to answer.

I don't care about your religious beliefs or how you live your life, please focus.

You love your country, so what have you done for your country and its inhabitants as a consequence of that love.

You seem to either wilfully misunderstand or haven't got a clue genuinely. Because so far, you have shown your patriotism to be nothing but hating on others for daring to leave you behind in that failed nation.
Stop the assumptions. It's not everyone like you (maybe) that is willing or ready to leave Naija. Some have the opportunity but chose to stay in Naija. Examples abound in Northern Nigeria, they are happier and more relaxed with the familiar which offers a convenience they will rather hold onto unlike folks maybe you even that will sow seed for a foreign visa, or that feels they are better off cos they are "abroad". My Point is its Ok if you choose to leave Naija, good for you, but do not come now and say your second class citizen status or refugee status or immigrant status is better than those in Naija or that you are superior to those in naija. You have this crazy mentality mostly amongst the Yorubas and the Edos, they somehow feel being abroad is an achievement. RUBBISH....Now go read my last post again therein you will find the answers to your questions. As a consequence of that lovehuh living life, a good example worthy of emulation, participating in everything, volunteering, civic duties, paying taxes, etc. Most importantly, i will share something with you. It is my pet project i am currently and actively working on. I am getting ready to kick off a project in the 1st Q of 2018, it is taking a comprehensive record of all those that died by vehicular accident in the last three years along lokoja to Abuja road. I will now use that data to make the Govt or whoever is responsible to build pedestrian bridges along that road and to fence the road since its a major road with houses on both sides of the road, with people going back and forth since you have family members, neighbours etc on both sides and ofcourse that road is the link between SE, SS and SW to Northern Nigeria. Shebebaby, the prepping alone is a lot of work and the scope keeps increasing. That is how to make an IMPACT and hopefully reduce the vehicle vs pedestrian contact and save lives. If you want to do something positive get onboard, you can volunteer your time, talents, donations, materials, connections etc whatever you can contribute. I need folks that will sit with those bereaved people to listen to their stories and take notes, i need people that have connections with ministry of works that will act on the report when we have it out, etc. People did those things in the Norway or wherever you are that is why the people have it easy today and you are enjoying it now. Let's do same to our Motherland, Nigeria.

What impact have you made in the lives of those in Nigeria with your patriotism?

To summarise, what have you done with your patriotism?
There is misunderstanding here or miscommunication. What is the impact of your patriotism in your life? This question applies to you because you have a wrong sense of "self" hence you are comparing. Does not apply to me, everything i do that impacts my life comes from all that i am, I am Muslim, I am Male, I am a Nigerian, I am from a State beginning with K, I am a Human being etc.... all that defines how i eat, sleep, interact, etc. 2nd question, way too many to mention.... I have lived life and i am still living life..... Maybe answer the same question for you......

Pidgin2:
Thank you sir, you have said it all. That shameless clown feels we should all abandon Nigeria and leave it empty, how possible is this? Same person living an isolated life in Europe and has never been able to move on with his life because he knows there's no place like home

He's simply living in denial because if truly hr feels he is free from Nigeria, why is he urging everyone else to desert the country, why not enjoy your Europe and free Nigeria for us? He's just an illegal frustrated immigrant living a lonely boring life there, just ignore that being. He's not worth your intellectual response, thanks once again.
I salute your courage and i have a lot of respect for folks like you that are hopeful and making it work. Keep doing what you're doing, you indeed are cut out for greatness, God willing. Soon Nigeriandondie will come back to naija begging you to hire him.
Pidgin2:
Keep digging my old posts, jobless illegal immigrant with a white winch wife. Olori buruku somebody. Thunder go kill you for that wilderness wen you dey hibernate like bear. Jobless mufu

Martin0, what that means is you will be a side bobo or a spare tire and be selfish enuf to hope or pray that the present guy messes up. Start acting like a boyfriend already, remember, don't dist or bad-mouth current bobo, but have your shoulder ready for the tears when bobo messes up, and trust me as long as na naija guy, either he will look for it or he will have it offered to him and he will take it. Now, remember Benita na smart babe so she will catch him red handed and she no dey tolerate cheats, so bye-bye bobo and welcome to Martin0 and all the goodness and mercies will be yours all the days of your life, halleluyaaaa.

This is how people fail exams. I haven't denied your patriotism, I'm simply asking:

How has it benefited you?

How has your patriotism benefited others?
Shaybebaby, you're the one not getting it. I don't have to quantify the benefits or what Country has done for me to show patriotism. You have it wired in your head that your country ought to reward your patriotism or treat you in a manner then maybe you will have a reason to be patriotic. Yes, you are right, those are the responsibilities of your country to its citizen, which is at the very least safeguard the life and property of its citizens but yes Nigeria is not even doing that but at the same time, you dont throw your Country away or abuse those taht are irking a living out of it by thinking you that ran away is better off than those that stayed. Rubbish. I have encouraged people to look outside the box. It is the very least i have done.

You put it well my brother in saying
"All the things against the attributes of God is impossible for God to do"
Like God cannot lie
God cannot break his promise
God cannot be limited
God cannot fail etc

Now, how does "God cannot take up the shape of His creation" fit into things against his attributes?

Let me give you some scriptures from the first book of the Taurat

How does an infinite God speak unto man without the man exploding from the sound of His voice?
Could it be that for mans sake God reduced the intensity of the power of His voice? (Who can withstand the power of Kufayakum?)

How does an infinite God appear to a mortal man and the man doesn't vapourise instantly?
Could it be that God appeared to Abraham in a form suitable for him to bear?

Of course the Torah didn't explain how God appeared unto Abraham, so we are in the dark as to how Gods appearance was made possible and of course we can term it as a figurative expression. And I am not insinuating that God appeared to Abraham as a man here.

But then, how about if I show you from the Taurat that God at least once appeared to Abraham as a Man.

Pardon me for the long quote from the Taurat, but it is good for your understanding that what you term impossible has precedence in the scriptures.

This is what you have termed impossible!
1. The Lord came to Abraham with two of His Angels and the three appeared to him as Men.
2. These Men ate bread and meat (even though God does not need food neither does His Angels)
3. Abraham saw God and two Angels without vapourizing (God didn't show Himself with His Glory)
4. Abraham negotiated with God etc

Later in Genesis chapter 19, you will see that two angels went to Sodom and Gomorrah as men, seen by Lot and the men of those cities as men.

Would you still say this is impossible with God (Appearing as a Man?).
ShadeYinka: You are indeed deep. You might be misinterpreting all these based on semantics most especially if the translators misinterpreted it. Remember, you are reading and quoting from a "Translated copy". The Bible was not revealed in English. Also, the version you are reading might for example translated it differently. In Islam, you will hear do not take anyone as your Awuliya -Friend except he is a muslim... Awuliya is "Protecting Friend" Now you need to go deep into history to understand where the verse was revealed and the circumstances. Now, little assignment for you. Read at least 4 different Bibles and try to find who went to the tomb on the third day after the resurrection... You will understand that translations gives it different meanings.

Nigeriadondie:
Hahahahahaha I thought u were fooling yourself and living in denial that I ve no companionship. Na my wife be that just got married late last yr after a little over 3 yrs. Now I don show u, u don change topic. Bad belle, enemy of progress. FYI i ve my papers so if u like wail over that.
Pidgin2 na sickness full her body so it is a no-go area. If men around her do not deem her fit to be a mate na me go come carry chaff.
U can have her as u ve turned yourself to her puppy.
Nigeriandondie, you'd said "companion" priorhuh well, if she is your wife, then i hands off in respect of your marriage and union. Also, Pidgin2 in my last two write ups is a metaphor for a naija woman. I don't know Pidgin2, but what she said resonates with me and i agree with her absolutely. I will also choose her 10 times over you in anything cos she is strong, driven, and most importantly hopeful of what naija holds and represents. That is the future my friend. With people like Pidgin2, Nigerian would've gone places not deserters and runaways like you that will run away and boast about it while putting Country and People down. Yes, i agree that there is no security in Nigeria, the economy and basic amenities is in shambles, i agree absolutely and we all contributed one way or the other to make it so, by the very least keeping quiet and taking BS from our leaders. IBB annulled election and we did not take to the streets and ensure MKO was installed.... GEJ's govt raped us dry and even involved the Churches and so called MOG's and they said its God blessing them...PMB's govt is slow and not delivering on his electoral promises but Kano went all out to welcome him. Even Kogi State Gov that built a mansion for himself, poor wretched people were on hand singing his praises and hailing him. The way things are now, keep boasting about Norway that Norwegians struggled and fought to make what it is while we cannot even unite, i mean just unite, we cannot do not to talk of fighting the good fight. We are divided along all the lines possible, religious, tribal, social status etc. I have no problem in your escape to Norway, live your life, but, do not look down on those in Naija working hard, people like Pidgin2, (who by the way is way out of your class, cos she can at least make something out of nothing by depending on her ability) and not you that (by the way i am a bit like that too but trying to change it) that will wait for Govt to make all the factors available for us before we can cope or live. Now, if any entrepreneur wants to invest 20M in somebody, between you and Pidgin2 who do you think the businessman will invest in?

How far has your patriotism gotten you? And what impact has it made in the lives of those around you?
Ask what you can do for your country and not vice versa... Why should you always want/need something in return? I can be patriotic just for the simple fact that i am Nigerian and i am loyal to my country and fatherland no matter what. That is a start. Well, per the second part of your question, A WHOLE LOT.... I am a Nigerian and proud.

Hahahahaha, mad cow disease has afflicted ur brain making u demented. I rather remain celibate than marry a beast. I wud never stoop so low to condescend to marrying Pidgin2. I ve companionship of a beautifully made woman. As for language barrier, we ve overcome that. So stop wailing
Ok, no wahalaaa, shey you dey chop her snail abi.... and she go do paper for you. Ok naaa, no worry naa, when you misbehave raise your voice on her one day, or when pidgin2 come do shopping you come see beta naija "bakasi" dey bounce like kilode, and your agbero mentality come look for a minute too long, na dat time that your Norwegian companionship babe go trowey you outside for inside that snow........ Be careful the things you say about pidgin2 cos me i know say at the end last you go still kneel-down beg am with that your boasting mouth.
